Today was our first fitting, we met with Amy she definitely knows her stuff and I'm so impressed with her knowledge of everything in her store. Honestly, we drove 45 minutes to go to this boutique after having terrible experiences elsewhere, and our experience was wonderful. The Sherri Hill dresses are more beautiful in person and on, than seeing them online. I will post pictures after the prom. Thank you for a really nice experience.

She was abrupt and got loud once she saw my daughter's jacket and said, "you cant have that dress, I already sold it to someone in your school." I asked nicely if the girl had ordered the same color because if it was the same color, my daughter would not wanted the dress and we would have looked at others. She told me she does't know, and it doesn't matter, she cannot get the dress, and that shes the only one who carries it! She became so angry and loud. I told her we had tried on Sherri Hill gowns in New Jersey, and maybe they would order it for me. I think she was stunned that one i was calm and solved my own problem and saved over 50$ and the customer service was so much nicer and accommodating. Bottom line, I would never step foot in that outdated store again just to be met with this type of service. It is a shame because the younger girls working were very helpful in our previous visit to the store. I did contact the brand, as I do not think they would want anyone who behaves this way representing there well known good quality brand

They also carry one of my favorite brands "Butter Super Soft", a pricey line of hoodies and sweatpants. If you have the money, this is a perfect spot to find a cute dress/ensemble for a party or night on the town. They have a lot of unique looking pieces that are glitzy and glam! I absolutely worship clothes horse, and I've never had any problems here, as did the one other Yelper who reviewed before I. I hope if a return or exchange ever did occur in my case, I wouldn't have to lower my stars for clothes horse! Fab&Fashion!

Will never shop at this store again! Biased, rude, appalling behavior…read more I entered The Clothes Horse clothing store located at Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, New York with my boyfriend planning to purchase a dress for my birthday. My boyfriend, who was wearing a True Religion sweater that we had purchased two weeks prior from the same store, began to look in the men's section as I perused women's section. We were meeting a friend at the mall and my boyfriend received a call and stepped out of the store to take the call. A representative that was standing at the fitting room began screaming to the cashiers at the register complex " Why aren't you guys paying attention? That guy just stole our sweater!" She runs across the store screaming frantically at all the associates. I watched in shock as the frantic associate did not know we were together. After ending his phone call, my boyfriend came back into the store to continue shopping. He was completely unaware of what was transpiring and continued to shop. The associate realized her inappropriate, unprofessional, biased reaction and stood quiet, yet unapologetic. At that point, I was able to gather myself and address the associate. I said to her, in front of all the other open-mouthed associates, "I just witnessed what you did. That is my boyfriend and we purchased that sweater two weeks ago." She stared at me, but still no apology. I then said to her that I would never shop in the store again. I put down the six dresses I was prepared to purchase and motioned to my boyfriend and our friend to leave. As it was a 50% off sale, my boyfriend was prepared to buy about ten things and reluctantly left with me. At this point, he still didn't understand what happened. I wholeheartedly believe that because he is a young, African American male, the salesperson reacted that way. I would think that if a customer walked into the store wearing your clothing, you would make the assumption that he is a regular customer, not a thief. Not only was the salesperson clearly biased and disgustingly rude, she was also beyond unprofessional.

I imagine they carry an item in every color, so wear your walking shoes because you could be there for hours. We approached a few staff zipping around and stopped one for help. We were told to go to customer service and request a Fashion Coordinator. The woman at the counter announced over the loud speaker for one to come to the service counter. After 15 minutes no one showed up. Off we went to fend for ourselves through dozens and dozens of dress racks. We picked out about 7 dresses and headed to the dressing room. Packed in like cattle my daughter tried on dress after dress. Some sizes weren't readily available and no one was at the computer that's ACTUALLY in the dressing room so I had to go out to the customer service counter to get assistance. There I did receive prompt service and a "runner" would fetch the correct size and hand it to me there. Not sure how long they've been in business but I feel like they've become complacent and don't really care about offering even basic customer service. Maybe they were overwhelmed because it's peak prom season but I noticed many moms and daughters trying dresses on and leaving them, without buying. Overall 3.5, with my two cents: care for your customers and they'll take care of you.

Back story....my older daughter is getting married next month, 5/31, and I bought a pair of shoes online, which I rarely do, so I would have them for my fitting last Sunday. Unfortunately, I was way off in what I thought would be a match in color, the shoes did not match my gown. Perfect example how what you're seeing online could be way off when you finally receive what you ordered. Luckily for me, I have to go back to the boutique this Sunday, 4/26, for another fitting, long story!LOL I went to Estelles and found the PERFECT shoe, literally! As my luck would have it, I'm a size 7M but they only had size 6.5 and 8 in stock, and I was told it would take 2 weeks for the shoe to come in. I explained the urgency how I needed it before this Sunday! At that point, the saleswoman, Ana, told me the buyer would be in the store Monday and I could speak to her about a rush order. Fast forward, I called Monday when the store opened and spoke to the buyer named Yessenia! The shoe in my size would be arriving on Tuesday and I picked them up today! I'm very grateful how both Ana and Yessenia went above and beyond to help me on such short notice. 5+ stars to this store! I will absolutely be shopping here again!!

The representative in the store name is Phil he took time to talk to me about frames. He wasn't pushy but his salesmen skills were on high performance. Retail is a very competitive field and I gained my experience and expertise by working with competitive brands, such as Pepsi Cola, Bakers Shoes, and Bostonian, Clark Co N, A. That being said I defeated the gard push to buy eventhough Phil presented an enticing deal. So I walked out empty handed and came back today 9/19 when I was ready to buy. Phil is very thorough, he provided me with helpful information which caused me to return my glasses and trade my glasses back to Vision Works. Phil explained the box area of my glasses were too much. That's why I took them back Vision Works and got a pair that fit better or didn't squeeze my nose. Phil also referred a certain style called back flip ( pictured). He explained why he loved the glasses for me... NOT LIKED, BUT LOVED. I bought the Oakley glasses today and they feel great and look great on me. Phil also sold me the insurance package of $20. It's good to have a sales representative or salesperson that is thorough, displaying superb skills of the trade. He also thanked us for coming back! Phil is a Gem!
