The customer service was fabulous! Such kind people here! I placed a catering order and they carried it out, were very timely and so kind!

I drive the extra 5 minutes to go to this Hot Head rather than going to one a little closer to my home. Very fresh ingredients and always clean. If you are looking for catering, be sure to consider this Hot Head. We have used them twice and each time they were amazing!! Today I ate for free by using the Hot Head app, does not take a lot of use to get some nice perks. read more

Hot Head Burritos - Hot Head in Sylvania!!! - Mexican Near Me - Sylvania, Ohio

I've had hot head a few times over the last few years. Every single time, the food makes my stomach turn. I thought maybe, it'd be better this time. Chicken was dry and hard, the burrito was COVERED in sour cream inside and OUT, I had to pat my burrito fry because of the sour cream. Rice was mushy and wet (I've worked in sushi before, that rice was not cooked properly). I couldn't even finish my tiny burrito because it made me wanna throw up. The queso has zero taste and just makes the burrito super wet. Never again. Chipotle and anywhere else is better than here. All in all, if you want a burrito where it's all just "mush", hot head is the way to go. If you want flavor and food that doesn't make you sick, just spend the extra few dollars and go to chipotle. read more

i door dashed this and the first time i did i felt fine after, but this time it was different. This food made me poop and throw up at the same time. The cheddar cheese was disgusting and the chicken has no flavor. Idk if it's because i got a bowl instead of burrito this time but it made so sick. I ate it, took a nap, woke up, and threw up all over my bathroom. I don't recommend the cheese at all. read more

Good customer service just sucked when I bit into my burrito everything was cold including the chicken and queso:(

I love this place great portions and great people more locations should take notes I have never had an issue and the servers are extremely friendly read more

I tried Hot Heads while traveling for Hockey. They serve burrito bowls...which I do not understand. A burrito...correctly made is just a flavor percolator! They also have regular burritos and tacos. Hotheads features a lot of sauces and menu choices. I went for the spicy chicken...and added brown rice, guacamole, pico, lettuce and pintos. Everything looked and tasted very fresh and well prepared. My chicken was spicy...probably too spicy for most people but I liked it. I do have a burrito "problem" though. The place was very clean, and the counterperson taking my order and filling my burrito was really friendly and patient, and did 10/10 job wrapping my burrito. It was tightern Dick's hatband. I wish we had a hotheads where i live...would return for sure. read more

Would recommend. Burritos are amazing and ambiance is good. Service is amazing too! would recommend

You can tell the young PM shifters were ready to go home. Not hospitable, bad attitudes, bad service, and I eat here every week. The PM team does not reflect the ownership and management, but it does change the outlook on this establishment. I love this place and I know it can do and be better. read more

Hot head burritos is the subway of burritos. You choose everything you want. I've only been here a few times, but I'd give it a solid 6/10. It's always a treat coming. They can get busy, but it's worth it. You can choose from a bowl or a burrito. I always go for the bowl, as I absolutely hate grubby, dirty hands. My husband gets the burrito. He's a muscular guy, so by the time he's done telling them what he wants they can barely close it up. Workers are nice, and handle his crazy sized burrito well. It's a nice change to all the regular fast food places. McDonald's on every corner gets really old, really fast. Portion size are huge, so it's worth the money. You definitely leave full. read more

We got takeout from Uber eats. We ordered tacos. All the hard shell fell apart. The same for the soft tacos. Taste was not bad but if a wanted a bowl I would have ordered one. Get better taco shells for what you pay. I expect it to not fall apart read more

I first visited Hot Head Burritos in Perrysburg and it had been a while, so I thought I would try the location in Sylvania. I forgot how large the burritos were after you added everything you wanted. I went with barbacoa with the sweet habanero sauce including all other fixins. This was more like a mini-football than a burrito. Needless to say, I did not have to eat dinner that night. Food was good and staff was helpful in making choices on what to add to the burrito. Next time, I would go with a bowl to avoid the possible mess of eating a mini-football. Good stuff! read more

I've visited three times since it's opened, and I can't get enough of their burrito bowls. Extra cilantro and queso on mine, please! This location is brand new as of November 2017. The decor is much nicer than any other Hot Head Burritos that I've seen, and the employees are happy and helpful. Any lines move quickly, and the food tastes great. Extremely clean inside and clean bathrooms - both big sellers in my book. There's also an outdoor dining area in front of the restaurant that I'm looking forward to when the Ohio weather is better. This is becoming one of my go-to food places! read more

I did attempt to contact the manager. I left my phone number. I have not been contacted.

I have never been to a Hot Head Burrito before, but when I went in during the freezing weather temperatures, I had a great experience! I met and chatted with the two lovely owners, Ron and Amy. Both were very kind and were happy that I was a first time customer. I had three different orders for my friends and me, and Amy was very polite and kind to accommodate the different orders. My burritos / bowls were not complicated, but I wanted things on the side and Amy was very gracious about my specific order! The owners are very genuine and passionate about their corporate business, which Sylvania / Toledo needs. Amy also sent me home with different Hot Head Burrito sauces so could try them, and I did not even have to ask! I LOVED THE ORIGINAL HOT HEAD SAUCE! It was tangy, and sweet. I saved the extra sauce and ate it with chicken wings the next day. :) Ron also explained their reward program and different specials they have throughout the week. Which, I LOVE and always look into when I am looking for food places to eat so I can save a couple bucks / get more for what I spend. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! :) read more

The food is just really low quality. Iceberg lettuce, pre-grated cheese from a bag, the meat was eh. Almost no flavor in anything. We had it delivered for dinner, wanted to try a new place and my husband and I both did not finish, and I ended up ordering something else instead. I'm usually not that picky, I swear! I dunno. read more

Usually love hot but got it today and the chicken was literally raw. Cold meat disgusting will stick to chipotle

This is my favorite Hot Head Burritos in the entire Toledo area. Every time I order food here, the employees are super friendly and helpful, the food tastes great, and I see the owner working hands-on behind the counter all the time! Not something you see often. Sometimes with chain restaurants it can be a hit or miss, but this one is a hit! Would recommend to anyone, especially for anyone trying Hot Head for the first time. read more

The manager at hot head burritos is the complete opposite of a hot head. He is the sweetest man I've ever met. The gentle tone of his voice made me feel like he was reaching across the counter and swaddling me like a beloved newborn. It's not like he said anything out of the ordinary either. Just asked me if I wanted rice or beans and what kind meat and toppings would I like. but he had such a warm, calm smile. Anyway, the food is delicious. Very happy I found this place. read more

Great customer service. The manager and employees always create a welcoming atmosphere.

Terrible service and management. I ordered through deliver-service and when I received my order two items were missing totaling around $10. Called management and was told it was the delivery service fault. That's not really the case because they are the ones who fill the order. Management is terrible and couldn't come up with a solution. I asked for a refund and three weeks later no refund. Also was told I would receive coupons in the mail and surprise no coupons. I will never eat Hot Heads ever due to the lack of customer service. I work in customer service and would never treat my guests this way. read more

It was our first time visiting a Hot Head Burrito. The young lady behind the counter was helpful and very polite. Got a meal to go, which include a burrito and two bowls. The food was very flavorful and portions were generous. However, everything was lukewarm at best. The pork and beans didn't even come close to melting the shredded cheese. Will probably give it another shot to see if this was an outlier. read more

HORRIBLE! I placed an online order 20 minutes prior to going in, I waited about another 10 minutes before someone got to me and they just started making my food. The people that came in and ordered right away were all getting their food quicker and left before me. I realized I should have just done that instead of ordering online thinking it would be quicker. My order was nachos with just cheddar cheese, a side of queso and salsa on the side. My kids ordered 1 cheese quesadilla. Simple. They seemed to be very busy although there was only 2 other people in there with me. The whole thing from the time I ordered took about 45 minutes. The guy who flipped my kids quesadilla did it with his bare hand. Gross! I finally got my food and left only to realize not only did they mess up on my nachos that they don't come with the cheese melted. I literally paid $10 for cold chips with cold shredded cheese on top. I went back in and the guy told me they don't have a toaster to heat the nachos up. Why would they even make that a menu option if that's the case?? The guy seemed like he didn't care about my order mess up so I walked out with my cold nachos and threw them away once I got home. Who would seriously want cold cheese on top of chips? I could have made that at home. I was very disappointed as this was my pregnancy craving. Never again! :( read more

We ordered 6 tacos, a ground beef burrito and chicken nachos. The nachos were stale, had very little cheese, the tortillas were small/broken pieces and I had to dig thru a mound of lettuce to find a few pieces of cold chicken. The tacos had an awful odor and they didn't taste much better than they smelled. The burrito........while I hesitated to even try it, it wasn't any better. Over $30 worth of food, I would take it all back for a full refund if I could. I don't know if it was a bad day for them, or their food is always like this, but I won't be back. read more

I was pleasantly surprised when this place opened as I work in the same complex. The first time I was there it was OK. It was pretty slow cause it was too late for lunch but too early for dinner so there wasn't much of a wait. The kid who helped me was nice and explained everything too me since I've never been too hot head before. I was not a fan of the chicken that I got in my burrito. At all. However, I went earlier today, I got good service (I think it was a manger or the owner) and I tried the Barbacoa and steak instead of chicken and WOW it was worlds better than my first visit, especially the barbacoa. I want more just thinking about it. I love the HotHead Sauce, and all the toppings seem very fresh. Very pleased with this place since chipotle started seeming bland for me. I usually do double meat, double rice at chipotle but the regular burrito at hot head was the same size and didn't fall apart which is always a plus. I want to stress that the hot head sauce is too die for. Definitely will be back. read more

This place is awesome. My fiancé and I come here all the time because they still have the quesadilla press machine, and we love that. I felt inclined to write a review because last night I was there with my fiancé, and I forgot my purse as we were leaving. The manager went through it to find my drivers license, and she found me on Facebook to tell me I left it there. I seriously thought that was the best customer service ever. 0% of me cared that she went through my purse to do it either. I thought it was awesome. The other manager there is also really kind and he always seems really happy to see us because he knows we're regulars and fun. All in all this is a great place. read more

Recently got take out for the family, ordered online. They waited until I got there to make the food so it was nice & fresh. We got tacos & burrito bowls with barbacoa, pork & chicken and all were great but the chicken was the fave among us. We also got sides of hot head sauce, guacamole, queso, & habanero sauce. All of them were good, but the hot head was not what I was expecting. (I figured it was a hot sauce & it was a creamy garlicy sauce) Love that they have pan seared veggies--which are zucchini, summer squash in addition to the usual fajita veg (peppers & onions)! First time I've noticed that at any of the fast casual mexican chains, and something I've been hoping to see. (Now to get one of them to have spinach & mushrooms as topping options...) Really liked the to-go taco containers that kept the food in the proper position rather than just a regular box where items spill/combine & that all of the containers seemed more like recycled cardboard than the typical styrofoam/plastic. Typical portion sizes & prices. Service was fast & friendly, and restaurant was clean throughout. Markers for social distancing were in place & tables were well spaced. A little farther out than I normally go, but worth it! read more

My husband and I stopped in tonight to grab dinner. He had a chicken burrito, I had a chicken bowl. And we ordered 3 cookies. Very pleased with the atmosphere, love the Christmas music. Very pleased with the service, fast friendly service. Fresh tasting food, clean restraunt. And honored my husbands military discount. This was our first visit to this store and not our last! Best hothead restaurant in the area! read more

The facility is extremely clean, workers are pleasant, service is quick. Would highly recommend coming to this hot head. The food is held to high quality standards. Delicious and fresh! I walked into the store, the chef that made my burrito looked me in the eyes and said. "This is going to be a really good burrito", to which I responded with "I'm sure it is going to be as they usually are." When he handed me the masterpiece that lay in the bag, I began to feel warm with joy as just by the weight of it. I was in for a surprise with this burrito when I opened the wrap. I was astonished at the craftsmanship of this decadent burrito. It humbled me to see how well shaped and the awe size of the burrito that rest between my thighs. I have never in my 22 years of life had a burrito made so perfect. I then realized when I took the first bite that in fact this is the best burrito I have ever tasted. I would hire that man to personally make burritos for me for the rest of my life. He concocted an art piece that looked just as good as it tasted. I would highly recommend anyone that loves a nice burrito to check this site out specifically. read more

I feel bad because the worker was very friendly, but there was something leaking from the ceiling into the food and I mentioned it and they didn't do anything about it and still served the food. This was my mother and I's first experience unfortunately and am not sure if I will return. read more
