I went in here with expectations that this place had more of a variety than Chipotle. I left a bit disappointed. The flavors just weren't there. I ordered exactly what I would at Chipotle in bowl form and it just did not have a great taste. Even adding more salsa didn't really help. Trust me, I'm not a huge fan of Chipotle. I find Qdoba to be the best but it's too far away for me to go often. So there you have it. This location also felt a bit dirty at the time. I would try it again but it's not going to be my first choice.

With my family and I went up here to Newport over the summer we stopped in at Harden burritos because they had a bunch of signs for them everywhere and I never heard of them. I went in and it was a really good meal set up like your Qdoba or moles or something but they offer spicy salsa so course I got the spicy because of how I like my burritos hot it was a big giant burrito I liked it my kids like it my wife liked it it's really good and I will be trying to get a next time we are in Newport

Newport hot heads. Usually good amount of food. But asked for lettuce for son's bowl. Guess price of lettuce is up high or what ? Shame

The reason is because of the great selection of sauces, such as sweet habanero sauce, spicy bbq, taco, buffalo, etc.

This was fine because the bartender was also our server. She was super sweet and attentive. She also helped us figure out what to order. She mentioned their steak is fantastic. We followed her direction and ordered steak like it was the only thing on the menu. The place is super cute. We started with an order of steak nachos. OMG... this is a meal for the whole table. It was super delicious. Oh... you can have any protein you'd like, but of course we ordered steak. There were a fair number of jalapeños in the mix, but they were nowhere near overly spicy. If you are here for the first time with a group of four or less, you may want to think twice before ordering the nachos because it is a LOT of food. As yummy as it was, it was filling and made eating the rest of our meals a bit of a challenge. Three folks went for one of the lunch specials, which are 1. Burrito (protein of choice) with a small serving of chips and salsa and 2. Two tacos (choice of protein, Birria not included) w/ rice. All three ordered the burrito. I believe everyone got steak. Most could only eat one half. Mark was talking about his burrito hours later. I love Birria and like to try it wherever it is available. I ordered Birria tacos (order of 3). I struggled to eat all three, but I succeeded. Not only were they great, but the star was the taco wrap. It had a slightly salty flavor and tasted freshly made. Mark also commented on the burrito wrap itself. It looked similar to my taco shell/wrap. The taste of the wraps/shell truly elevated the flavor overall. We had to try the Churros for dessert. The serving was much larger than I expected. It can easily be shared by two. It is served warm, which was a treat. Mark didn't love them, but I thought they were a deliciously sweet ending to the meal. If you're feeling full, but still want to try the dessert, go for it but consider sharing. It's fair to say we will return.

My wife and I were in the mood to try something new to us, so we popped in for a dinner date. The restaurant space is pretty large, especially for Mt. Adams. It's sort of an indoor/outdoor location, with a large covered patio and large garage doors that open the indoor space in all directions. Certainly a nice place to visit when the weather is good, but the food is just as good as the location, and therefore worthy of a visit no matter the season. My wife and I shared a pitcher of margaritas ($26.99 for the gold), and they were very tasty. Even though they were not prepared to order, it did seem that they had been prepared recently and had great fresh ingredients. My typical Mexican restaurant order is the chimichanga. Theirs is a large tortilla, filled with shredded chicken, beans, and cheese, deep-fried, and topped with lettuce, guacamole, tomato, and sour cream. This is served with rice and beans ($15.25). This was very good and the ingredients were fresh! My wife ordered the chile verde, a delicious plate of slow-cooked pork simmered in a savory green chile sauce. Again served with rice and beans, along with tortillas on the side ($18.50). Another really good dish, and one that is not very common in the Cincinnati area. Go give it a try!
