Cataract surgery is reputed to be very successful in general. My case showed how things can go wrong. I am very grateful for Dr. Tran. With medical eyedrops before and after the surgery, recovery was complete with no complication at all. I was nearsighted with stigmatism, wearing thick lens all my adult life. After the surgery, I have 20/20 vision and no longer need to wear glasses for driving. However, I do wear a pair of bifocals, primarily for reading. At my 6-month return check-up, Dr. Albrecht found some "stuff" as normal reactions to the operation (which didn't seem to bother me at all.) I had to go back to have them cleaned up by laser which took less than 5 minutes for each eye. I am very pleased with the overall result and the thoroughness of Dr. Albrecht.
