The food here is really yummy! The tomato basil grilled cheese is a craver. Service is great and staff is very friendly. I would give 5 stars but I feel it's a little pricey for the portions. But other than that I have nothing to complain about! read more

It was alright sat at bar area the bartender was great, he pretty much let me taste every beer on tap which was a bonus then I had three beers. The food was pretty good for appetizers. They have two happy hours one from 2-6 then 9- close can't beat that. I also heard there lemon drops are really good. read more

Went here for a company dinner tonight, and was definitely imptessed. The food was really good and the server was on point, especially for such a large group. We even got seated in a private area upstairs! I had the mushroom burger with provolone instead of swiss. Juicy and not overdone. I frequent this hop jacks location and always leave satisfied. I recommend their happy hour to try 1 or all of their "iced" flavored drops or the coldest beers in town. Sandwich of choice is their California Turkey w/ side of housemade chips and garlic ranch dip mmm. I would avoid the boneless chicken, horrible portion size. I've only eaten happy hour food here and it is always tasty and well priced. The beers are frosty. Such a wonderful think on a hot day. I come here often just for a frosty Curve Ball Blond. It seems to have a pretty diverse clientele as well. All in all it's a great place for a brew and some happy hour foods. read more

This place was great! Awesome happy hr with drinks served in glasses made of ice. The peach ice drop and the huckelberry ice drop was really yummy. Happy Hr food was satisfying. Hands Down the Best Restaurant in Thurston County. We've been eating at Hop Jacks for 3 years now, they have changed their menu here and there but the food stays great and the drinks cold. They have delicious lemonades, and a Huckleberry Margarita that's to die for. I am consistently raving about their food and customer service. Never a bad experience. I love Hop Jack's for their HAPPY HOUR! The drinks are cheap, food is cheap, oh and their beer is in fact the coldest beer in town. I always get their buffalo wings ($6) and fish tacos ($5). The tacos are my favorite, it's DELISH! As for service, well it's decent, always attentive and friendly. The bartender ( don't know if he still works there) was the best... he'd give us comp drinks and on our anniversary, it was a shot of Patron for me and the hubby YAY for PATRON LOL! This is my absolute favorite restaurant! Always great, quick service. The fruity ice glass drinks are awesome. Be sure the check when Happy Hour is to get good deals on the those. The food is also amazing. Homemade chips with garlic ranch sauce is always a win. I love the BLT&A (avocado), and my husband always goes for the Morning Burger (with fried egg). LOVE this place. Wings are ahhhhmazingly delish!! Guac burger is delightful & tho I am fond of their Lemon Drop drinks (especially during Happy Hour when they're only $5), their margaritas are even better. Hello, Jose Cuervo! HopJacks is a great restaurant with the coldest beer in the town. The food is good, and the buffalo wings are HOT just the way I like them.

I have been here at least a dozen times and I love it! The beer is nice and cold, the boneless buffalo wings are the best I have EVER had in my LIFE, and the vegetarian burgers are absolutely on point! This place is an institution in southern Lacey and if I am ever in the area again I will not hesitate to go! My wife loved the lemon drops too! read more

Been to Hop Jack's 3 times and still am not impressed. Only the 1st time was by hubby's and my choice; wouldn't go back if it were up to me. We had a stellar waitress in the bar Sunday night--knowledgable, caring, got our orders perfect. Then moved into the restaurant when the rest of our party showed up and got an airhead: 2 wrong orders (of 6), forgot drinks, forgot condiments, and the fish tacos took forever. When they finally did arrive, they were wrong and the remake took forever. Again! Others in our party said they've had same waitress in the restaurant before and had the same issues. Gotta wonder why she still is employed there. Hop Jacks is doing marginally better with gluten-free, but they still have a long way to go, and it depends on which wait staff you get. First waitress in the bar was totally on top of it. 2nd waitress in the restaurant and another staff member didn't have a clue, so Hop Jacks obviously isn't doing staff education. Good food is not enough if the service is iffy and those of us with allergies aren't safe. read more

We have a good experience every time we eat here. Really friendly servers, great beer, solid food. If you go between 12 and 6, it's a serious bargain. We usually get cheese sticks, french onion soup, tator tots, and western burgers. This is not good for our health, but it's always fresh and delicious. I have not tried anything here that I did not like. I am one of those customers that looks over everything and is pretty picky about my food. My burgers have never been soggy, never cold and silverware, dishes and glasses have all been clean. Great service and atmosphere. The mango lemon drops are amazingly delicious.
