Additionally, I have had warranty issues since my pool was constructed by him, well over a year now, without any resolution (light doesn't work, filter nosel broken, etc.) . Loud and noticeable air bubbles in both the pool and spa. Spa jets not having appropriate pressure. Plaster application was not performed well but he never came out to comment on it until a year later. Finally, items are in the contract, that were paid for, still not taken care of. His workers also destroyed my fence by digging and placing plumbing right next to the fence poles. Another $14k+ extra spend. I attempted to come to a resolution by identifying a chiller/heat pump to be installed for free instead, which he agreed upon. Of course, that was never installed. He also parked a digger in our front lawn for 5 months which was well after excavation and uneeded for our project (free parking?)?. Constant hassle of attempting to get work done and completed/fixed. I wish I had gone with a more established company.

They were easy to schedule with, showed up on time, and went through everything step by step. They actually tested the system instead of guessing and were able to find the exact source of the leak. They explained what was going on, took care of the repair, and kept things simple the whole time. After that, the pool held water like it should and I was able to move forward with selling the house without any issues.

I was told today, after they charged my deposit, that they don't do leak detection after three during the week or on Saturdays. I told them to just refund my money and I'll find a more straightforward entity to do the work. If you use them I hope you have a better experience.

Last year we started to notice some pitting which became worse this year. I called Jim Pierce to discuss and he told me that the pool is out of warranty and they are not responsible. We have had the pool for over 21 years and the original plaster lasted over 15 years. Authentic Plaster lasted less than 5 years. Don't use Authentic Plaster if you expect the work to last for any length of time.

He proposal was very competitively priced to my current pool maintenance guy with many of the other competing bids coming in 30-40% more. I fell in love with a particular blue glass waterline tile and Caleb drove to three different tile stores with me to find something similar together. He was very responsive throughout the process and everyone on his crew was respectful, professional and competent. Jacob had been taking care of our pool weekly and really kept it clean and also made sure the system is running smoothly. Due to changes in the routes, Troy had been newly assigned to service my pool and also doing a great job of being on schedule and spending time to clean/vacuum then treat the pool water. So far, Troy has been doing a great job and been very courteous. These guys are really dependable and honest.

UPDATE: Gunite company will not repair without charging because of the original leak. Well maybe if LW had quality companies we wouldn't have had a leak.
