We purchased the display cabinets in December of 2023! It was in good condition and a good price! The initial service that was given to us was also good! Before we sealed on the deal, it was agreed that the kick plate was missing and it would be replaced! Extra panels was needed and we agreed at a set price which later was changed by the same guy who set the deal in motion!! Our calls went unanswered or to voicemail! Our last call to check on the status of the above said mention didn't well!! The young man changed the price of the panel and refused to give us the kick plate he spoke to us not like the paying customers we were but more so like beggars on the street corner!!! We've never had such a horrible customer service experience as we did at Hope Kitchen. We called during the week and spoke to Carlos who instructed us to take photos and video of our Kitchen so we could get an estimate. We did so and sent to him everything he asked and followed up the next day since he never got back to us. He confirmed that he had everything he needed and would get back to us. After not getting a call back, we decided to go into the showroom on Saturday and met with Benny who helped us run through the design. Carlos also introduced himself and after mentioning that he never got back to us, he explained that he was just really busy. Benny completed the layout and gave us an estimate. We advised that we had a few more places to check out and would return on Monday. After checking out a few more places, Hope Kitchen fell in the middle for pricing and we decided to go with them so we went back on Monday to iron out a few questions we had and start the ball rolling. Benny seemed to be very annoyed with any questions that my wife had and was being extremely rude. We had no issues with the pricing but, some of his measurements were incorrect so we wanted to have him update his design to make sure we didn't run into any issues at the time of install. He kept walking away from us on the showroom floor and getting on his phone. We mentioned to Carlos that he was being extremely rude to which he responded "Benny's just having a bad day". At that point, Benny started yelling across the room to Carlos that he could take over and refused to give Carlos the design and told him that he could start over since we didn't seem to understand him. At that point, my wife and I said that that would not be necessary because of the unprofessional manner in which Benny was acting. We said goodbye to which Benny shouted "YOU CAN GO AHEAD AND LEAVE". We have never experienced anything like this before and will never step foot in that establishment ever again. read more

Over the last 20 years i have used Hope Kitchens in Fairfield 4 times. The first three times, they installed a kitchen and then two bathroom vanities for me some minor problems, but they were resolved. On the fourth installation at a new home, I had them install a brand new kitchen and countertops. Had major problems with them not properly measuring and they said it my fault because i should have checked the drawings. this was eventually fixed, but it took many phone calls. On their last trip to my home, they banged up the cabinets and left noticeable marks. I noticed this after they had left and called the office to get some touch up paint. The office refused to give me the touchup paint, and said it would cost $35. I pointed out that this was not caused by me and they said that I should've been given the touch up paint when the original installation was done. I said that I had never received any touch up paint and they said that they must've used it up on the original installation. This was definitely not the case. I refuse to play extortionary prices for some thing I should've been provided. The marks and nicks were caused by their installation people I would definitely not recommend this company again. read more

We went with this business since it was in a convenient location. The kitchen renovation looks great but the customer service I must say is HORRIBLE. We paid for a job (not cheap at all) and they took weeks to send someone out to finish a simple task. Word of advice, do NOT pay for a job until it's completed in its entirety. The owner Benny has no people skills and is very unprofessional. Carlos, an employee there can't seem to answer questions without running everything through to the owner first. What a bad experience with hope Kitchen cabinets in new Rochelle , I put a deposit on a quartz with employee Carlos Cabrera at first he told me they have all the quartz in stock , my wife picked the color that she wanted. Carlos Cabrera wrote a different color in the paper work Because they didn't had the color that we wanted. By the time we realized they were being slick we stopped the order, at first Carlos Cabrera told us they will put the deposit back in the credit card then he said the machine was broken he couldn't dot it. Now they don't want to give my deposit back? Carlos Cabrera is very rude unprofessional and slick. he boss is a piece of shit as well. Be smart do not waste your time and your money going to this place. They are garbage. read more

I am very disappointed and will never recommend nor use this company again. Believe the negative reviews. My cabinet installation was not done properly and now my kitchen floor is buckling. It is a hassle to get anyone to fix the problem and they make it seem like the customer is at fault. The price was nice and cabinets look great but the customer service is horrible. Awful place. With the exception of Adam, everyone at Hope is dismissive and rude. None of my cabinets were installed evenly. They didn't start with the base cabinets or measure to find the high point of the floor so nothing is level. At one end, the height of the cabinets from base to top are 90" at the other only 89" AND they actually CUT that cabinet to make it shorter. Because of all these mistakes, the gap between the cabinets and the ceiling starting at the 89" side is 4" lower than they are at the highest point. I understand ceilings are never level, but the difference in my kitchen is 1", not 4" like the gap difference. Also, the height between the upper cabinets and the counter top vary from 17" in some spots to 18" in others. I wasn't able to open drawers in the peninsula b/c it wasn't installed level so the wall was in the way of the drawer. The materials are cheap and actually held together with staples. The cabinets were supposed to go to the ceiling, instead they used filler and crown which accentuated how uneven everything was. The fridge didn't fit in the space because one of the panels leans. We weren't notified that they would be assembling and cutting the cabinets in the apartment, so the mess that was left was really upsetting, especially after having just painted. They didn't even bring a vacuum or broom to clean up after themselves. I don't install or design kitchens so i was relying on their experience and knowledge but no suggestions were made. The space between the peninsula and refrigerator is too close (by law) according to a contractor who came to look and NO ONE mentioned or even suggested to make it smaller. When i spoke to the manager about my concerns, he actually yelled it was my fault for not asking the right questions i.e. where the cabinets would be assembled, etc. Oh, and I was told, you pay cheap, what do you expect. It wasn't cheap and as a manager, this is what you think of your product and work? They actually stand behind this work. Bad service and rude manager/owner with no solutions to fix this mess of a job. The installers were supposed to come and fix the space for the fridge, making sure the drawers closed, and installing shelves that they had to reorder b/c the first ones were not what I asked for. When I asked for them to come and finish I was told that they already came too many times. I reminded them that they came b/c of mistakes THEY made. Messages haven't been returned so now I have to pay another place to fix/finish their work. The money you think you'll save by going with Hope isn't worth the headaches and frustrations and the rude, unprofessional behavior. read more

This company came to measure and template for a new counter, but the gentleman never looked at the cabinet and sink to make sure they cut the hole for the sink in an adequate fashion to fit the faucet. In fact the salesman had to pick up the sink the next day because the measurer didn't. When installing, we found that not only had that piece been cut too long, but there was no room for a faucet because they used a standard measurement instead of the measurement of my cabinet. Needless to say, the owner is extremely rude and belligerent, yelled at my husband on the phone and will not offer a viable solution except to threaten us with his lawyer. The cabinet and counter top installation went smoothly; however when it came time to install that backsplash; that became a disaster. I was scheduled since 11/10/18 to have the backsplash installed on 2/7/19. I did not receive a confirmation call the day before. I called that morning of 2/7/19 and I was told by the manager I WAS NOT on the schedule. I was irate to say the least. The backsplash ran into a issue which was addressed prior to the installation. After I lost my shit, that's when they scrambled to find someone to show up on 2/7/19. Then I was told I was under charged for the backsplash which WAS NOT my problem. That was between the salesperson and the manager to handle. As you can read, this review is not a good one. If they plan on staying in business, they need to get it together. read more

Would highly recommend anyone looking to update or install a new kitchen to visit Hope kitchens. Hope Kitchen review Stay far away no matter how good the price seems! It's hard to say if the quality or the service is worse. The installers are sent without any knowledge of the job and no communication abilities. First my stone came cut incorrectly and Benny kept telling me it was just the installer, not the stone. However, there were different overhangs throughout the space and it was obvious it needed to be redone. As a designer, I know installs always have their hiccups. However, many aggravating conversations later, including a threat to dispute the balance charges, the stone was finally recut. After many post-installation visits for repairs (because the team is sent without any instructions or materials), they requested balance payment before it was completed. When I happily agreed to remit the balance once my stone was recut properly and my seams, chips and drips repainted, and my handles leveled, Benny screamed at me that if I wanted that good of a job done I should've told him upfront or gone elsewhere. You can imagine my confusion when he had initially marketed Hope Kitchen to me as a high end kitchen store. Months later my kitchen still has I leveled doors and missing shelves despite many attempts to contact them to fix it. As a designer, I'll stay very far away from this company for future clients. read more

We purchased our cabinets at Hope Kitchen in New Rochelle, NY. The cabinet arrived as scheduled and both the cabinets and counter top were installed with no issues. Our designer and coordinator at Hope Kitchen was Carlos and he did an excellent job. Carlos paid attention to every single detail, came to our home multiple times and even pointed out errors made by our contractor who we had hired independently. Carlos' calculations and measurements were perfect, he gave us many options in 3D and we now have a beautiful kitchen. Carlos even referred us to an appliance company where we purchased our appliances at a great price. We are now enjoying our new beautiful kitchen and this is due to all the ideas and dedication of Carlos. Hope Kitchen is lucky to have Carlos he knows his job extremely well and it was a pleasure to work with him. read more

As anyone knows with a large kitchen remodel there are bound to be hiccups and we were no different. Yes we had some issues it happens. Its not so much the issue its how Adam at Hope Kitchen responded. He went above and beyond for us, so much so he drove to New Jersey twice, as well as Bridgeport CT in order to get the job completed. That was a professional who really cared about his clients. They were very well priced and he worked with us each step of the way. So Thank You Adam for all of your help with our project. If I could give less than zero stars for this business I would! Purchased and paid for a marble countertop and backsplash for a brand new bathroom and bar in December 2016 and the job has yet to be completed despite dozens of phone calls and complaints, and it being paid 100% in full! Not only was the job done extremely poorly with one worker sleeping in his truck while the other struggled to carry the material in hitting my walls repeatedly along the way, but they improperly cut the material and needed to use my personal equipment onsite severely chipping the marble (because they didn't have the proper tool) and then expected my husband and father's assistance with installation because the one man couldn't do it alone! Upon complaining to the office about this entire process and the poor finished product (gaps between the marble backsplash and the wall because they used excessive silicone, incorrectly cut angles, chipped marble, ruined walls in a new addition that had to be fixed at our cost) we were promised on multiple occasions that a manager would come out to look at everything. So, my husband stayed home from the office several times only for this manager to never show up! When he finally did make an appearance, the manager, Benny (who is apparently one of the owners), blamed the errors in the bathroom on a crooked wall, yet it's a brand new addition!!! When we asked what he was going to do about it, he laughed and said nothing. We were naturally quite frustrated and demanded that he not only fix the shoddy job, but also finish the work that wasn't completed in our bar (missing backsplash paid in full!) He then backtracked saying he wasn't a manager and needed to go outside to call his manager, at which point he got in his Lexus SUV, actually waved to me and drove off!! Absolutely appalling establishment from start to finish. They basically took our money and ran. To say we are irate is an understatement. I would recommend this horrific business to no one. read more
