Hubs and I knew we wanted an on-trend white quartz look with minimal grey veins to tie the look with Midnight Blue Kraftmaid cabinets we got. We also wanted to kill two birds with the same stone and noticed these folks carry oval and rectangular deep sinks and got the last for our new kitchen. Installation from their part, worked fine. Plus they also worked around our kitchen cabinet contractor's time making the entire job a harmonious one. Reliable. Knowledgeable and professional. They came through perfectly.

The workers did a horrible job applying the caulk. They had to return twice to complete the job. The first time the worker who did measurements was annoyed. The second time, I was told to just buy some caulk and a sponge and apply it. I laughed and said why would I do that...? If that's what I paid for, I said you did not even apply in some spots. They missed areas and when I showed one of the workers they were frustrated. He did not believe me, we went over to the area and with a flash light I had to show him. One of my outlets was bent. I was a little understanding with that but that was carless. In another area the back splash was not cut in line with the outlet box. I showed another area under the cabinets and before I could even show the worker he said we don't do that... Then I said really... I showed him where they did under most of them and for some reason left two areas without caulk. Then another crew member was on the phone with someone arguing. Very unprofessional. On the way out one of the crew members dumped the water from their bucket over my hedges and into my front yard. Also, very unprofessional. I also had to go to the office and have a finishing piece cut. At that time I was asked how did the guys do... I said it was still incomplete. I had an exact piece they needed to duplicate. I picked up the piece and it was off. Over all the office staff was fine but unfortunately the crew was not. I am sure they do good work but they did not for me.

One of the things hubs and I appreciated the most was that even when we questioned him about whether or not we should get an extra box of floor tiles to add to our existing 7 boxes we'd purchased back in April '21, for that "just in case" moment, Carmine wasn't hard-selling us into buying another case of tiles. Bill listened to my concerns and immediately began to educate me on how to determine if the floor was installed the right way and how I would be able to correct what had been done. Bill was genuinely interested in making sure I had the right information about tiles, the installation process and different techniques to get the best results. In the end, I had to remove everything down to the subfloor but I am so happy that I did because I will now avoid years of continuously having to repair a bad floor. Bill worked with me to pick the best floor tile for the design and price I wanted. He also met with my new contractor to make sure the floor would be installed correctly. It was such a good experience as a customer that I went back to get my counter and backsplash tiles. Not only did they have a huge variety of options they were very good at keeping within price ranges and showing alternatives to more expensive options. They also helped us look at things we normally would have glossed right over (our kitchen back-splash in particular). We ended up with exactly what we were after despite having no idea what we really wanted going in. The service HUGELY outweighed any Hope Depot/Lowes and the prices were around the same if not cheaper. Not to mention Hope Depot said it would be 2-3 weeks for anything that had to be ordered (which would have been everything as they don't keep much in stock these days) and Village Tile is getting everything to me in less than 2 days... I strongly recommend going here over the big box stores. You will get far better service and support your local business owners!!
