I went to Hoover printing to have rehearsal dinner menus and name cards made. I came into the store with my templates and the guys helped figure out the best way to print what I needed. They were able to make recommendations that actually ended up saving me quite a bit of money, and sent me home with extra copies in case I needed them. They had my printing done the next day which was unexpected and so appreciated. I am so excited to see these beautiful menus and name cards at our dinner. Highly recommend Hoover for any of your printing needs. We will be back! read more

What a lifesaver! I was on Yelp, desperately looking for a company who could print a vinyl banner for me the same day. Since I was at work and unable to make phone calls, I saw another printing company that responsed to requests for quotes in 30 min. I typed up a brief note and hit send. Yelp asked me if I wanted the request sent to other print shops. I thought, "Why not?" and clicked yes. And I'm so glad I did! Rod messaged me in less than 30 minutes. He provided me a detailed quote and gave me instructions on exactly how to move forward. The price was right in line with what I was hoping to pay for an order completed on such a short notice. I sent the files and Don responded with a proof in less than an hour. The total process took a little over an hour (much of the delay on my end because I was working) and I was able to pick up my completed banner two hours after that! The banner is EXACTLY as I envisioned it! Strong vinyl with a hemmed edge and grommets on all four sides. Colors are vibrant and the logos are crisp and really pop! Thank you Hoover Printing for a job amazingly well done and amazingly fast!!! read more

I really can't say enough about this place. Kelly, Don, John, and Rod are super friendly, welcoming, and just all around great to work with. I have used Hoover twice now in the last year or so, and I am beyond impressed with their professionalism and print quality - not to mention their speed of service. In both instances, my prints were ready the next day, and one of the was a gift that I had ordered right before Christmas Eve. The best thing is that they treat small jobs with as much care and concern as they would larger jobs. I am sure they do business with companies that order thousands of prints, but they treated me and my one-off print like it was an important order. It's clear that they do this for everyone and probably don't even think it's that big of a deal, but that just shows how great they are. And another thing - I have worked with a few printers over the years, and I can't tell you how refreshing it is to find one that actually knows how to handle art files. All I had to do was send them my Adobe file, and they took care of it from there. My prints in both cases came out exactly how the art looked on my computer screen, which again is not always the case with other printers. I have had some really strange stuff come back from printers in the past where it looks nothing like my original art. It's obvious when a printer is just a printer and has no eye for design. That is not the case here at all. I'll be back here for sure the next time I need a print, especially now that I know that they do art books as well. read more

Placed an order here a few weeks ago. The prints came out beautifully and they had them done within hours of my order. They are extremely professional looking and quality material. I will continue to use Hoover for all of my printing needs. read more

Don has been helping us with our business cards and magnet advertising.. Hoover printing is quick, reliable, and the products are very professional and great quality. We have recommended others to them and will continue to use them for our business needs. read more

They are pretty responsive. Their prices are a bit high but certainly not the worst. However my main beef with them is after spending over $1000 in services including labor for design time they then refused to give me the design file and instead held it hostage to try to force me to place more orders with them. To this day they still have not given me my file. read more

From start to finish, the Hoover team is on their game. I am an executive at a large corporation. I was need of printing, from catalogs to price lists for an upcoming trade show. Rod Hoover understood what I needed, made recommendations, explained why, and his team printed sample pages for me to review, making decisions easy. All printing was done on time with top quality at competitive pricing. I highly recommend Hoover Printing & Lithography. read more

I rarely write reviews but these guys deserve one! Rod had great suggestions and even tweaked the design for me to make it look better. The cards came out fantastic and they were ready in less than 24 hours. I had a great experience at Hoover Printing when getting my business cards done. I didn't want to get them online and have that glossy look that so many people have these days, I wanted real old school professional looking business cards where you can feel the quality of the card. I emailed some images I wanted on the card to Don at Hoover Printing, and drove over there. I got to sit in a chair next to his desk and say exactly what I wanted and what I didn't want. We were done in about 15 minutes. They sent me home with a sample of the printed business cards, and I got to pick up the rest of the batch the next day. It was a good experience, and I recommend them to anyone who wants a professional print job for their business. read more

Fast, courteous and quality service. Great prices. The entire team is professional and know what they are doing. Great printing company!

Used these fine people for business cards and some stickers. Super easy to work with. Pricing is really fair and service is exceptional.

I recently moved to Costa Mesa from Hollywood where I do alot of writing and preproduction remotely for films. I called to get a quote on an easy 60 page script print out, black and white, single sided. Boom. $55. +20 if I wanted it hole punched... what?! It would be $10 at kinkos! How does that even make sense?!! You can't call yourself a print shop if you don't cater to all prints. Bad service, Bad Pricing, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see how ridiculous that is. For that amount, I could buy a cheap little printer to print out 500 pages or more. read more

Pleasant & easy to talk with about our printing project. We had the proof with 48 hours and job was finished on our agreed upon date. We are completely satisfied with the work done! read more

Our daughter is getting married in April, and I have been working with Rod and Don at Hoover Printing on everything for the wedding. I cannot say enough nice things about their customer service, dedication to timelines and overall consideration and patience with all of my many changes. The invitation suite is absolutely amazing and exactly how we imagined it would be. We have received so many wonderful compliments regarding the beauty of it all! I can't thank them enough for working with this stressed Mother of the Bride to make sure everything turned out perfectly! They are the best around and I would recommend them highly for your quality printing needs. Thank you so much Hoover Printing! read more

Hoover Printing is by far the BEST! As a designer- I have lots of printing needs. I don't even know how my Fiancé and I stumbled upon Hoover, but I am soooo happy we did! Rod, Jim, and everyone there- you can tell they love what they do and they care about their customers. Hoover is Family owned and operated and well, lets just say you can tell by expertise and careful precision with your designs, invitations, marketing materials etc. - they want to make sure you are 100% satisfied. I used Hoover printing for my letterpress wedding invitations. I tried doing them myself after receiving extremely pricy quotes...and well lets just say that things weren't going as "planned". I desperately searched around the Orange County area for a place that would help me and wouldn't charge an astronomical price. Jim Hoover not only far exceeded my expectations with how our invitations turned out, but he also took the time to show how his letterpress worked and explained the process to me thoroughly. How cool is that? Hoover is AWESOME and I promise you will not be disappointed. You can email me if you have any questions or want to make sure this is a real testimonial (burnham.brigid@gmail.com). My only regret is not finding this place earlier! read more

Rod was extremely helpful in assisting me with my wedding invitations. Having designed the invitations myself, I was just looking for a a quality printer with competitive prices. Hoover Printing checked all of those boxes and more. Rod was extremely responsive, and had the expertise and knowledge necessary to help me select the appropriate papers for my needs. Once I sent him the final designs, he had a proof ready the next day, followed by the final prints 1 day later. I'm so excited to share my invitations with my family and friends. read more

Went down to Newport for the day before going to a hockey game at Staples Center. Driving from my hometown above Bakersfield realized in the middle of LA that I had forgotten the tickets. This was the first place I saw to call. Even though they were a digital printing place they were so kind and let us use their computers to print our tickets. They are very generous and go out of their way for others. If I ever have a project I will definitely go to them! Thanks Hoover Printing! read more

Hoover Printing was awesome! I bought a custom wedding invitation and sent the digital file to them and they had a proof ready by the following morning. Once approved, our order was ready for pick up the next day. Great for us since we are having a short engagement, and no time for lengthy turnaround times. Rod was especially helpful when I was trying to decide on what paper to use for our particular style. He was very knowledgable and made great suggestions about paper choices. My fiance and I are very pleased with our invitations. I will definitely be using Hoover again for future printing needs---they were also super friendly and in a great location. :D read more

Everyone at Hoover Printing was very professional and very helpful with getting my printing needs done! Long story short, I needed to get wedding programs printed out very quickly (within a span of several days). I checked out several places and my gut went with Hoover Printing because of the reviews on Yelp and based on my experience talking with them briefly about my needs and that their turn-around time would be within 48 hours. Their staff was very friendly and accommodating to my needs and I felt no pressure from buying from them. In addition, they ensured that I understood everything about the printing process, answered all my questions very appropriately and professionally, and I sensed no hint of rudeness or sarcasm at all. I received my prints within 24 hours and they were beautifully printed out exactly as I had envisioned them! In addition, they had a proof done before they printed it out to make sure it was printed out to my specifications. They also did their best to work within my budget. Thanks Hoover Printing for being lifesavers! read more
