The food was okay. The service was terrific. Michaela was really nice and continually checked to make sure we had everything we needed. I really appreciated how nice and helpful she was read more

Came to this Hooters location on July 5th, 2021 with a party of 9; 2 families/5 children. This is my first Yelp review ever because I typically don't really care enough to write a review, good or bad. I prefer to reward solid establishments with repeat patronage and word of mouth recommendations and generally chalk up bad experiences to maybe someone was just having an off day. I am also not one of those types that wants to "speak to your manager". We walked into this establishment at 2:30 in the afternoon. There were literally 8 other patrons inside and another party of 2 outside. The host was far from welcoming when we entered the establishment. She notified us immediately the kitchen was busy making call-in orders and the wait for food would be more than 20 minutes. We amiably replied that would not be a problem. The initial feeling was implied the staff didn't care to have us there. We asked if we could be seated so we could order drinks while the kitchen caught up on the call-in orders. The host's reply was an irritated scoff before she said she didn't know if she could seat us as she turned her back on us and walked away from the hostess's podium. I can't fathom why you would not want to be selling drinks an extra twenty minutes before even taking an order for the entree. We patiently waited at the podium to see if she was actually going to seat us, but she stayed on the far side of the restaurant and ignored us. Ultimately we left without any further acknowledgment from the staff and found a pleasant restaurant within a 5 minute drive. Disappointing because we were looking forward to the chicken wings. Come here if you wish, this was just our experience. read more

Horrible service is an understatement! Our waitress was rude and did not want to serve tables! We waited over an hour for food and was never asked if we needed a refill or were checked on in between the hour of waiting! The worst part is we were her only table!!!!!! The other servers were running back and forth to their tables and she could careless! Food was not all that wither! read more

My son and I are in the military and for Father's Day we decided to meet in the middle of our duty stations in Williamsburg, VA. We stopped to have a beer at this Hooters. We were treated very rudely by a brunette server with glasses (I never got her name), who wasn't even our server. The rest of the staff we encountered were very friendly. read more

In Williamsburg on vacation all the way from D.C. I've been to Hooters in the dc area and abroad quite a few times and each experience was great.. Now to Williamsburg. Went on a Monday evening at 8pm, was a little busy due to the CFP championship but not as busy as im used to seeing. Took the server nearly a half hour to come to the table, asked for the drinks and a side salad and that took almost another half. Ordered 20 wings 2 different varieties and after about 20mins only one order came and they were nearly cold. Another 20mins and the other half came with the same result. The fact that i praised Hooters wings so much to the people i was with made me feel very embarrassed, plus the service was bad...Needless to say i will go back to this Hooters no matter how many more trips to Williamsburg i take and wouldn't dare recommend tgis location to anybody i know.. read more

Whitney was very rude with service. Menus were slapped on the table and she asked what we wanted. When someone asked "What would you suggest for a drink" she replied "I'm not the one drinking so what do you want"? She had a disgusted look each time she visited the table. Will not be visiting this location anymore. read more

Had a great time; tasty food for a good value! Ask for Nermina - gorgeous, friendly, and helpful!

Loved it! The lady's were great good food, cooked well, and great service I recommend the chicken wings they were good

Wings were great had BBQ and Medium. Also had soft pretzel bites with beer cheese. Service was great

We got some delicious food. The food took a good while to come out. The side sauces we had asked for didn't come until they were asked for twice. We didn't get refills in a timely fashion. The waitress was very personable and sweet. read more

Went here on vaca because we dont have one near us in north jersey. Waited 15 minutes to be seated, when finally seated we had to ask for a manager because no one had come to our table yet and it had been another 15 minutes. Manager did offer free appetizer. Waited 30 minutes for food after ordered, but food was good. Not very clean at all. Booths are very small. We would NOT go here again. read more

It's been forever since I've been to a Hooters. But wings are my favorite and it was near where we were shopping so we decided to give it a shot. Just a disclaimer because I love wings I'm gonna get a little picky. However, for your average restaurant chain this place was fine. Service was fine as well. But if you like wings as much as I do you'll appreciate this review. The one thing I love is that they have a few different options for traditional wings. I do not like too much breading on my wings so their buffalo style wings were perfect! I didn't even have to ask for extra crispy. For me that was the extent of my enjoyment with the wings. They had some interesting flavors for sauces so I asked how many I could get with a large. The waitress said 4 so I tried mild, teriyaki, honey Thai and garlic Parmesan. While they didn't taste bad they all left this weird after taste. Like they all had too much vinegar in the sauce. And the teriyaki sauce was way too sweet. Now here's the part that gets me. Every wing place I've ever been to give you your choice of ranch or blue cheese. However, I had to pay .59 cent for one small cup of ranch. It was not included with the traditional wings. My boyfriend got the boneless and his came with one. I just thought that was weird. Anyway I will probably try a different location at a later time and see if their sauce tastes any different. read more

I placed an order to pick up and the food I got animals won't even eat it. Wings were dry and over cooked. This happened twice and I will never go there again. read more

I went to this location last night for dinner before my kids & I headed to Busch gardens. I picked Hooters to eat because in past years I always considered it a high energy, unconventional, FUN place to eat! We were sat immediately and greeted quickly by our waitress, Brooke. She was friendly, gave good service. We ordered two kids meals, one strip & one boneless wing, and an order of boneless wings Daytona with a side of fries & cheese. I also ordered one of their $5 Long Island ice teas. We got our drinks fast, but our food took a good while for a restaurant not on a wait. The manager did make rounds to tables but never acknowledged our food taking so long. The food itself was okay. All in all, other than a lengthy wait for food, the experience was ok. My biggest letdown was the mood of the restaurant. Very drab & boring. The music was nothing like I remember hooters. I expected 80s & 90s hits, but instead the music was wayyy older. Not hooters like at all. There was no high energy or fun. Are the days gone of hooters girls spending time with their tables & entertaining the restaurant? Maybe offer a board game while waiting on our slow food? A ballon or sticker for the kids? Again, service was good but this location really needs to work on the foundations of hooter girlin'! Would've loved to have seen some smiles, laughter and fun!!! My kids didn't get much of a hooters experience. I love hooters & would like to see this restaurant make it through a very saturated Restaurant industry, but please train your girls what makes world famous hooters girls different than a basic waitress. And thank you Brooke for good service! read more

The food is not always consistent. But when it's good it's AMAZING! When it's bad it's foul sadly.

Worst Hooters ever! Our waitress, some girl named Voti or something, she had brown hair... actually said if you have girls with you, to my boyfriend, then don't sit in my section. There used to be a dress code, but now the girls in there look like strippers with their shorts completely up their butts. Management needs to tell them how their uniform should be worn. Regardless if it's already skimpy, they don't need to make themselves look like they don't have any morals at all. Also, The food was terrible. I ordered the chicken strips with Buffalo sauce on them and they had some watery sauce that didn't have any flavor, the food was soggy and tasted bland. I have been here many times before and this Hooters has completely fallen off the radar and everyone should avoid this place. read more

This is the worse experience I've had at a hooters. Rude staff and poor food selection. Their excuse for missing what makes hooters great: "We aren't a corporate owned location". If you like wings, go somewhere else. If you choose to risk it here and expect blue cheese or ranch with you wings, you should stop at the grocery first and grab some. Just do yourself a favor and pick another restaurant. read more

More like no stars..... terrible management. Went for a night out, our wings took about an hour to make - completely burnt. When I asked for them to take them back the manager looked at me like I was dumb, he was also very rude while we were leaving. The server however was super nice. Will not be going back and I hope you look into the people you put in "charge". read more

We eat at Hooter's occasionally. This was the worst Hooter's ever. We had a waitress that would stand around and show pictures on her phone to other customers while our food was waiting and getting cold. Usually wings are wings, but not this time. I guess if they had been even slightly warm when we received them it might have been better. They didn't clip the tip off the flats (a pet peeve of mine). read more

I have been coming to this Hooters for about a year. Let me say FIRST that Hooters continually gets a bad rap. This is a restaurant franchise that has great women working the floor. There are ALSO great men working the kitchen. Having said that, about Hooters Williamsburg: These women are awesome. How many bars/restaurants can you name where the waiters/waitresses even pay ANY attention to you? Jenny, Steph, Georgina, Sloogie, Keisha... I've never had a bad time there. These are ALL great ladies- interested in customer service that goes above and beyond- which is what Hooters is all about. Good to great food. Sports on the TV... And this is a FAMILY restaurant... A great time: don't let the haters sway you. Come to Hooters Williamsburg and get ready for great food and good times. Leave your judgement at the door. read more

likely close to the worst food on the planet. The Hooters girls range from awesome to I can't believe they would let you wear that. Most I would rank as threes or fours on a scale of 10. read more

I only gave them one star because the manager knew enough to take the beers off the bill. we went through 3 before we got one that wasn't flat and less than cold. This is the only wing joint we've ever left wings untouched. Awful doesn't begin to cover it. Dry, over fried and uniformly awful with no taste. They should be fined for using the name "Buffalo Wings". If there's a Twin Peaks in this area, go there. read more

I had given up on Hooters over the years but my job location changed and this one is a close stop for lunch. Been about 6 times over the last couple of months. Waitresses are always friendly and attentive and the food has really been delicious. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken dip. read more

Worst place ever!!! Waited 57 minutes for food and left .... plus 10 minutes for "Marcus " the manager to pay for a drink .....who never showed up.. They had ONE cook for 20 plus table restaurant. There was a time when I could expect to find friendly wait staff and unique wings at any Hooters I went to as I travelled my territory up and down the east coast. Those days are gone, and this Williamsburg Hooters is the perfect example of how far down the Hooters brand has sunk. I had the Hooters salad and boneless wings with Hooters hot sauce. Salad and wings were good which accounts for the one star in my review. But the the service was atrocious. My waitress Jasmine spent 90% of the time I was there curled up with two guys in the corner of the bar area. Maybe 4 other patrons in the restaurant and the other waitress could only complain to whoever would listen about not being cut loose that night. No manager in sight. Only employee apparently working was the cook who like I said made some nice boneless wings and salad. Hooters used to be a place where the waitresses made you feel psyched to be there. When I visit any Hooters today the waitresses make me feel out of place and a bother to deal with. Adios amigas. read more

Typical Hooters, pretty much just like all the others. Cold beer and hot wings and service is quick and friendly. Good place to go on a football Sunday if you don't have a tv. read more

I went in for the first time after a 2 year break. It was nice to see a complete front house change. My server was excellent, she didn't talk me till my food got cold, didn't press me for the drink of the day, and didn't press herself and the old sticky sweet push for higher tips. I asked to see the current manager and was pleased to see Melissa (spelling) was still there. She seems to have gotten a good handle on the old problems that drove me and many others away. Food was great, staff was great! read more

Hooters https://www.hooters.com/Home/Default.aspx 112 Bypass Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185 757-221-9570 Mon - Thur: 11:00am - 12am Fri - Sat: 11:00am - 1:00am Sun: 12:00pm - 11:00pm 3.5 Stars out of 5 Hooters, known for their original and unique buffalo wings. In my opinion they deserve that fame. Their 10-Piece Boneless Wings are a delectable treat. I ordered the honey thai flavoring on mine and even though it was an odd idea for wings, it was simply mouth-watering. Hooters offers a spiciness scale from 1-5 and these were only a one but I feel as if they could have been closer to a two. Another item on the table was the Hooters Chicken Strip Cheese Sandwich. This is possibly one of the more creative things I've ever seen on a menu. The chicken strips, buffalo sauce, and two kinds of cheese on toast was at a perfect hot temperature and absolutely delicious. The third thing to touch my eager taste buds was a Baja Fish Taco. The grilled mahi-mahi on a tortilla with special sauce and cabbage had flavors that blended beautifully although the sauce was a little spicy and the taco itself was a little cool. My service was quite nice and my waitress was very polite. She seemed to know what she was talking about but at times it seemed as if she was simply talking to talk. She seemed somewhat clumsy and in a rush and even spilled my lemonade. She fit in quite nicely with another thing Hooters is known for. If you don't know what that means then I'll just say there weren't any male waiters in the restaurant, on purpose. Along with the clumsiness there weren't any food runners to help my waitress bring out the many plates at my table so she simply brought them out two by two. It was quite time consuming. Learn to carry a tray sweetheart. The food made up for the below-average waiting though. All in all the food fortunately wasn't too expensive for how delicious it was. The three items I ordered were about $9 so the rating was probably $$ out of five. Portions were great for the price given. The atmosphere was a very happy one despite the fact that my booth was made for someone the size of a newborn baby. All the furniture was made of a very classy finished wood and that theme was maintained from the outside to the inside and even in the bathrooms. There were many T.V.'s all on different channels so I had everything from soccer to the news to watch. If you somehow don't like T.V. there were many signs, advertisements, and pictures to look at. The air temperature was quite nice in my opinion but to many others it will seem a little cool. The table was decorated with large cups, many different kinds of plates, and fortunately paper towels for the wings. I found it quite awesome that belching was permitted in their dusty, old, bathroom. Skinny: If you are looking for a comfortable atmosphere with amazing wings and other foods, Hooters is definitely a good choice. There are also lots of things to look at if you enjoy that sort of thing. ;) read more

Not sure what is going on with this location. Ordered wings and shrimp. Ordered both medium and the wings breaded. The wings were horrible. Extremely greasy and no flavor...unless 'old cooking oil' is a flavor. The shrimp was just OK....super greasy as well though. Will never spend money here again. read more

Just take a pass, I walked in yesterday @ 2 p.m. on a Saturday and sat patiently at the bar waiting to order a drink for over 10 minutes. There was 1 other customer at the bar and no bartender to be seen. The asst. mgr also was MIA. The men's bathroom reeks of raw sewage, Ever since the GM changed in the fall this place has fallen right back into the unfriendly and dirty location that it currently is. I walked out out, place is a discredit to the chain. read more

Just dropped in for a quick sandwich at lunch last week. My greeter was OK and led me to a table where I had the best waitress ever. Not only was she too hot for words, but she also had a friendly personality and carried on a lively conversation for several minutes until my food was ready. If you're in W'burg this summer, stop by and ask for Dakota's table. You'll be glad you did. And yeah, the food was acceptable. read more

Worst service I've ever experienced at a Hooters restaurant anywhere in the world I normally get a Corona in a Coke glass with salt on the rim and the waitress brought me a half a glass of Corona and it looked like the whole class had been overflowing and most of the beer had Spilled Out instead of giving me a an additional Corona the waitress told me that it was a 12 ounce bottle in a 16 ounce glass my waitress Nicole was very snooty and short with me after I ordered another beer and ask her if I could do it myself read more

If we had not been a mixed age group with kids, perhaps more stars because we would have got service. Member in our party decided to "treat" us because she had great wings at another Hooters and the rest of us have never been. Our wings came out without the sauce - we could tell by looking at them and tasting them - however the waitress told us that there was definitely sauce on them. After debating with her, she finally agreed to have them "reshaken". When they returned, now with visible sauce, they were still not very good - would have been better to buy a bag of wings from the store and cooked them ourselves. The Po'Boy sandwich shrimp was overfried. Our waitress never came back to clear any dishes even though we ordered fried pickles (the only thing that was good). We had to wait around for our check because she was no where to be found. When she did return, we assume she gave us the wrong check because it had 4 additional dinners beyond our 5 dinners on it - we didn't see any large parties, so we can only hope that this was the mistake instead of hoping that the tourists wouldn't pay attention to the check. Go find better food & service elsewhere. read more

this place sucks. especially when its all you can eat wings for 10.99 because they charge you 10.99 then after the 2nd plate of wings they charge you 3 dollars a plate??? like wtf??? how is that all you can eat if you keep getting charged. go to oceans and ale or brickhouse for better chicken wings and its only 10.00 all you can eat on mondays read more
