The other customers that were in the bar area seem to be regulars, maybe four or five people. Overall, just a very strange experience. The hostess was friendly and seated us by a window with a great view. Our server, Jessica S., was fantastic--friendly, upbeat, attentive, and genuinely made our visit enjoyable. An unexpected bonus was that we happened to be seated next to her parents, who were having lunch there as well. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. The food portions were enormous! We thought Texas portions were big, but these were even larger than what we're used to back home. Best of all, the food was absolutely delicious. We only wish we lived closer so we could come back more often. If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. I was a little surprised that our food was served in to go containers even though we asked to dine in. You pick up your own plasticware at the counter where you pick up your order. The salsas are spicy and bold, the meat is cooked to an ideal tenderness and you can't beat the prices. Phone etiquette from the host was a bit off, but the takeout was delicious regardless.
