I came to my weekly sanctuary... one of them. The food is great, the service is great, the place is clean, the ambience is casual, the folks are friendly. Many may not realize, but Hooters began as a seafood restaurant. The seafood is great. But I show up mostly for the wings and the friendly (and lovely) servers. Allow me to highlight, too, that the food is always fresh. In all my years, I haven't had one time where the food seemed not fresh. The beers, too! (And it is possible to have unfresh beer!) Background:I visit the West Springfield area every two years to visit my wife's family who are from the area. It's a tradition for me to dine here with my wife's uncle/godfather. He's a regular here. It's such a treat to dine here as I have no more Hooters near me as they've all closed. Beer: It's always ice cold and there's a decent selection. Food: We keep it simple. Wings:Breaded, Hot , All drums. The wings are always served hot, fresh, and delicious. We throw in some bleu cheese, curly fries , and celery as well. My god father in law orders a burger occasionally. Service: It's always quick and friendly. My dining companion always likes to engage in conversation with girls working here and they're always good sports about it. Final Thoughts: I'll continue to dine here each time I visit. What's not to like about Hooters? Maybe the multiple lights flickering about the bar. Ether way came here on a whim on my way to the casino not really knowing what I am hungry for. This is me and my family's first time at this location, but not at Hooters. Brooke was our waitress and she was really nice and attentive. We ordered our drinks and lunch. I had mild buffalo shrimp, curly fries, and a lemonade to drink. I don't eat chicken and didn't want a burger. My son had the special which was boneless honey bar b q wings, curly fries and a lemonade to drink. My husband had the Tuesday's special which was all you can eat bone in wings. The selected flavors he chose were honey chipotle, lemon pepper, General TSO and garlic Parmesan. His favorite flavor was honey chipotle because it had a lot of flavor and a little heat (spicy) kick to it. His drink was water with lemon on the side. We took our leftovers home because I'm not a really big eater and and my family had a lot left. We really enjoyed our lunch. I ordered a key lime pie slice to share with my husband at home. This isn't a place that we've spent a ton of time at. We went for a special occasion. As we were eating I was noticing just how gross the restaurant was (I was surprised at how dirty the bathroom was too... but when my kids commented on how gross the men's bathroom was I knew It must have been bad.... they're teenage boys....) you can see that there's very basic cleaning done but nothing really cleaned thoroughly or correctly . It makes you wonder how sanitary things are in the back if the front of the house looks like this especially when cleanliness and sanitation has been a highlight of the past year. The staff was friendly. The food was mediocre chain restaurant food. My family enjoyed the various sauces. At opening on a Friday they were out of smoked wings so that sucked. I feel like I am being generous with my rating. Let me start with, we have ll enjoyed going here for years but we have not been back since December due to our busy schedules and we'll, we won't be back again for a very, very long time. The easy part is they could not get our wrong order right two seperate times in the same evening. The hard part, filth, absolute disgusting filth. The board of health needs to go here. The bathroom made me gag (it had to have been a year since they were cleaned and my husband would not use the men's after he saw it). The staff was nice but nothing to write home about but if I worked there I would be embarrassed. One final note, we heard other customers commenting on the sand thing and some said don't eat here! Today my boyfriend and I made a vow that we would never go to another hooters again. Every time we go to a hooters we are so disappointed no matter where we are. We got wings, curly fries and a house salad. I asked for oil and vinegar and when she came back with it there was literally stuff growing in the clear glass bottle of vinegar. As first time visitor to Hooters, this was a great experience. The Chipotle Honey boneless wings were on point with the curly fries. The blue cheese dressing is great, especially if you like blue cheese flavor. Katie, the waitress, was super nice and served the meals quickly and was attentive of our drinks. Stood at the front door for a few minutes in eye shot of the manager camped out at the wait station, waiting to be seated. Eventually we sat ourselves. We.sat about 10 feet from said manager. The 3 girls we could see working weren't coming by. Eventually, another table with 2 guys sat behind us. Manager dude was still holding up the side station. Two of the three girls went to the new table and sat down. Clearly favored regulars. We got up and left. At last view through the window from the parking lot, it didn't seem to bother the manager. Let's be honest, you don't come here for a 5 star experience, so my 3 star rating means that it was average and as you would expect from a Hooters, with nothing that would bring it up to a 4 star on this particular visit. Service was friendly. Karla waited on us and we of course ordered wings and beer with a side of fried pickles. The pickles were extremely hot, and did not cool down at all by the time we finished our meal, so one could only assume that they came fresh out of the fryer. Wings were nice and sloppy with a little kick as the menu advertised. It was the middle of the day, after the lunchtime rush, and the music was still cranked up to a 10 with minimal people in the restaurant. May want to town that down a bit during the slow times, because with only six people in the restaurant eating, we had to practically yell across the table to understand each other. After regularly visiting Hooters on a weekly basis when I was in college, I since have taken a long hiatus for reasons unknown to myself. Well, I must admit I kinda miss going to Hooters because no one does wings better than they can. In addition, I only go to Hooters during the "All You Can Eat" special that they have a weekly basis. Even though they have the "All You Can Eat" special twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday, I prefer to go on a Tuesday since it is "bone-in" and personally I am not a fan of the boneless chicken wings that they have on Thursday since I prefer to be a little bit messy while eating my wings (it feels manlier). Generally, the wings were great and the "Hooter Girls" were AWESOME with their astonishing personality as evident by the fact that they made everyone feel welcome with their warm smiles and ability to make small talk. Furthermore, they were also very attentive to their patrons, even at a busy and chaotic bar. In regards to the wings that I requested during the "All You Can Eat" special, I first had the Spicy Garlic. I have to say this is my favorite on the list that they offer since the sauce to wing ratio was on point. In other words, there was not too much sauce nor too little, it was just right as Goldilocks would said. The flavor was phenomenal! It was spicy and of course garlicky. The flavor of the garlic was not overpowering, but you can taste it. The best part was the garlic taste did not linger in my mouth long after I was finish eating it. The second set of wings I had was Parmesan Garlic, initial impressions were that it seems like it was just a batch of wings that got toss in a Alfredo sauce. One flavor did not overpower the other but rather you can taste the parmesan and garlic each in succession of each other. The third set was the medium hot wings, I must admit I was not a fan of the medium hot wings because the sauce to wing ratio was off. In my opinion, there was not enough sauce! It tasted kinda bland and basically tasted like unseasoned fried chicken that just got out of the frier because that's what it literally was. My last set of "Daytona Beach" wings was better than the previous wings. The name is basically an ode to the origins of Hooters. Personally, I like the Daytona Beach wings a lot. The atmosphere of the dine experience is certainly nice and lively, especially at night or during a sporting event. I was curious about the wings and ordered 20 piece half daytona, half samurai (teriyaki). The wings were pretty good, as they were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They were relatively large as well, but I prefer the flaps instead of the drums. The drums had a lot of fat and cartilage. However the flavor of the wings were solid, especially the samurai. It had the perfect balance of sweet and salty. I wish the price of the bone in wings were more inexpensive, but other than that there's not much that is needed to be mentioned. read more

I always like comin here, especially on wingsday-where you get 10 boneless wings fries and a drink for 799. the last time i was here, i had a few drinks, a tall beer mug of harpoon was $6. bud heavy/budlight drafts for just $3 BUT some weird guy from the bar came and sat down with my guy friend and i (bold move) he was hammered and didnt leave us alone. he even spilt red wine all over himself in front of us. i wil be back here soon, the waitstaff are very tentative and its just a good place to people watch (as a girl) 1- get cheese sauce 2- dnt give in to the drink specialties. i had one called "the grinch", it tasted good but not strong at all. way too much ice as well wasnt worth $7. read more

This Hooters has the best food! I've been here a few times (and I've been to other Hooters locations a few times), and everything I've ordered is perfect. While other locations sometimes fall short, this one always gets it right. I went yesterday with a friend/colleague, who thought eating here was a riot. We started with fried pickles as an appetizer (my very favorite thing on the menu), and they were delivered to our table within five minutes of our order. They were hot and just the right kind of crispy. There was no sign of grease on them at all. The buffalo shrimp, which is another of my favorite menu items, was cooked exactly right as well. While other locations sometimes include too much grease and sauce, this was not a problem. I was able to eat all of the 10 pieces that I ordered, while at other locations, I can usually only stomach about seven because of the "heaviness" that comes from the way the shrimp are cooked. The curly fries were also great! They came to the table warm with a hint of spice. I think the portion you get in West Springfield is bigger than the portion you get at other locations. I took at least half of the fries home with me; not bad for $2.99. Our waitress was as nice to us as she was to other customers (mostly groups of guys). I am not a jealous women, I am beautiful and even did a layout for penthouse magazine and gallery! So the beauty and body is here for a 53 year old! This is a great sports bar with great food and atmosphere. It is definitely has a loud atmosphere, and it is great! People are excited and talkative. The wings are some of my favorite, which is crazy to say about a chain restaurant. The wings are breaded, which is somewhat rare to find in the area. They come a little greasy, but the flavors are usually top notch. Cajun has a good kick robot without being overwhelming.
