The table was kinda sticky and 3 out of the 4 chairs on our high table was VERY wobbly... it felt unsafe to sit but we were starving. What has happened to Hooters. I know the company is in bankruptcy and must not be supplying the restaurants with all of their normal products. We visited this one in Niagara Falls and found that many in the menu items were no longer available, despite still being on the menu. We each had an order of wings, which were the smallest wings I've ever seen at Hooters. My wife also got a salad but when it came out was told they no longer had the dressing she wanted and was given mayonnaise to put on it.??? The service was very inconsistent. Our waitress is very friendly and delightful however, didn't know anything about the menu and forgot to bring out my blue cheese three times. Can you believe I never been to Hooters ? Well this changed earlier this month, when I explored the Canadian side of the falls on a rainy Saturday . Server was cute and friendly, ordered a round of drinks to start (a Jack Daniels cocktail in a can for me and a Labatt for my dad ) . I ordered their famous breaded wings (honey garlic style ) and my dad ordered a Buffalo chicken salad . Food prices were fair , portions decent and food, although not ground breaking , was tasty . Super pricey! This area is like 'The Vegas strip' of Niagara Falls. Visited on Monday for their unlimited wings special. Ended up just getting 20 wings. Took a while to get acknowledged after we were seated but our server eventually came and she was nice. Our food arrived quickly. My biggest complaint is that celery and sauce is extra. Not sure if this is a Canada thing or if it's just this particular location-but i was slightly annoyed at that. This takeout combo is the best bang for your buck in the Niagara area if you love wings! $35 + tax for 40 wings, fries and coleslaw! Considering everything around the area is $40 for an entree plate, this was an amazing deal! The Daytona beach wings were our fave and wish we got all 40 in it instead! I rarely give 1 stars but my experience at the establishment was absolutely disappointing. I went to Hooters as their patio looked empty and we were completely starved and everywhere else looked packed so we decided to give it a try as we heard they had good wings. The patio was empty but it took 20-30 minutes for us to get our table as there were only 2 waitresses working but there were 2 separate patios. For such a big patio, you would assume there to be more staff. Food: Tater tots- pretty good. Taste like the ones you get from a frozen package at Walmart. None the less, it was good. Salad- i ordered the salad with no cheese but it came with cheese. I thought shredded Monterey Jack was an odd choice to put on a salad as well. The leafs were brown and soggy and had a weird taste tp it. It was definitely an old salad mix. Wings: the biggest disappointment. The wings looked good but it was completely HARD. Half of it was cold and the other half was frozen. I'm never someone to send food back and would eat it regardless but it was entirely inedible. The sauce had a weird taste to it as well. Service: The waitress was really nice though we never see her much at all. She took around 20 minutes to give us our menu and another 20 for our orders. I also stated no cheese for my salad but it came with cheese. She never quality checked our food and therefore, we didn't even want to change it or anything. Our food also took like 30 minutes to come. We had to go inside to get the waitress to tell her our issue and she was eating at a table. That's completely fine to eat but if you're on the clock, please take care of your tables. She was nice enough to take the wings off the bill but everything else came to be around 25 dollars. She was courteous, professional, and quite attentive. But, speaking as an American male of the 1950s generation, I must say that Nya was a vision in her Hooters uniform. I'm sure the other Hooters waitresses look at her and say, "Harrummp!" I mean, have you ever seen a Barbie Doll? Svelt, in shape, shapely, curvaceous, with bountiful you-know-whats? It was a guys trip, an opportunity to get away from work, and for those that have them a chance to get away from the wives and children. A time to be a bit rowdy, to be men again! We chose the Hooters Niagara location as our home base for the excursion. If anyone became lost from the group, they knew a cold beer, a warm smile and a place to lay their heads would be found here. Throughout the weekend we sampled many different drinks, beers, wings, tater tots, fries, burgers. All of these items gave us the required fuel to continue mocking one another, half hearted attempts to hit on the beautiful bartenders, and leave the weekend feeling refreshed and ready to start the week all over again. Ok this place for the area was really good. I spent 3 nights in Nigeria falls and most of the places were overpriced, greasy with crappy staff. This is actually my first time going to a Hooters. This is by far the worst Hooters we have visited. The girls are busy ..."working" on a dead night that they dont notice when people walk in? We ordered at the bar and inquired about the 20 piece. We usually get 2 sauces but apparently here you have to order 2 separate 10pc to do that. Ridiculous. Then, when we receive our order, there's one blue cheese for a 20pc! We had to pay for another. Again, ridiculous. When we returned to the hotel we realized the wings were dry. We ordered the regular Hooters hot wings and it tasted like oil. It was disgusting. We also ordered a steak quesadilla and it was absolutely pathetic! (See photos). I usually really enjoy Hooters - I've been to them all over the world but this one is AWFUL! The fried pickles should be a shoe in, but they aren't. The chicken wrap should be a burrito version (served warm and with shredded cheese) but it's not. Every other location is way better (especially in Cozumel, Mexico!) The wait staff does not want you here. They got my order wrong, and NEVER EVER EVER brought me a water to drink the entire meal. I tried ordering an iced tea - they brought some sugary water drink like Brisk or Nestea - those aren't actually tea! If you are serving those, say it! Most places name them by name or say flavored teas, like they mentioned on the menu but then they had regular iced tea separate and it was not. So gross. It had been a while since I've been in a Hooters and I'm not sure if all Hooter locations are like this but this one is definitely divey. Me and my sister stopped in while exploring the area. We sat at the bar over 5 minutes before we saw anyone who worked in the entire establishment. However, when the bartender finally came out she was friendly. The drinks were average, we ordered a quesadilla, which was very cheap tasting, small and lacked flavor. It had a small amount of pico and sour cream on the plate, so we asked for hot sauce. There wasn't lettuce or salsa like I saw in pictures on here. Also, the bar stools are not comfy, the back of them is rounded so our coats kept falling off and the lady next to us commented how terrible they were as soon as she saw us sit and take off our coats. The only reason we stopped in was because there was a sign outside the door offering 25% off (the total bill) for military/service members. So, because of the discount the stop in was worth it but I wouldn't stop in again and don't want to go to another Hooters after this experience. My husband and I love Hooters, but this is not Hooters... The wings were horrible. When we got them they were already cold, it was super hard to chew them. Some of them have not even got sauce on and we had to try to put sauce from other pieces on it to have at least a little favor... The service was bad, she was nice but she forget half of what we have ordered and she barely come to ask if we need anything so it took us long to even get what we have ordered at first. Not mentioning the refil of the drinks. The bar itself was not even half as good as other Hooters we have been into. The TV screens were tiny and there was only one option to watch. I know it was not the fault of the place but they hosted aome kind of a school group and the kinds were not seated pushing us meanwhile we tried to eat. Looks clean and staff seems friendly but I can't vouch for the service or the food or give this place stars. We arrived and had to put our name on a wait list and wait outside for what they said would be 25 minutes. 35 minutes later they came out and said they were out of food and couldn't take us. We made a reservation for the following day but we waited there so late that we slept through our reservation. Was hoping to try the place as it's the closest one to us at 3 hours away however I'm not sure I'll be sitting down there on my next trip to Niagara.
