I don't go into Hooters with high expectations to begin with but tonight was a whole new level. The server was pleasant enough, but after having placed our order (grilled Buffalo chicken tacos for me and sliders with tots for my friend) and waiting for a bit she finally told us our order had come up wrong (fried chicken for my tacos and fries instead of tots for my friend) and that it was being redone. No problem. Now years ago I was a server and if an order was messed up, it was corrected quickly and before other orders were completed ahead of it. That is not the case here evidently as we saw a few orders come out for people that arrived well after us before our "corrected" order was brought out. Only problem was that while I did now have grilled chicken, it was that and nothing more. They did not coat my chicken in the hot sauce as ordered! Then to top it off they had apparently let my friends sliders sit around while they "fixed" the order as he said they were cold and hard. So anyway the manager came over and asked about the problem with my order and so I explained it to her. So then she asks me "is there anything we can do for you?" WTF?? You're the manager, how about you figure out a solution! I said "can I get some sauce for these?" And so they brought out a cup of Buffalo sauce. Problem is it's cold so I'm dumping it on my "warm" tacos (truthfully not a huge concern as they were lukewarm at best). So my friend ate half his order and when our server finally came back (while nice, she disappeared for a long time ) she asked why he didn't eat it and he told her why. So she insists on taking it off his bill, as they should, but I get charged full price for my order that was jacked up twice . The server said ask for her next time we're back. This is a pretty good restaurant. You can get you a hamburger. You can get you some wangs. Don't nobody care. I got me some wangs that was the flavor of honey and some other wangs that tasted like chickens. And a cokecola. It was pretty good. The waitresses is all real friendly but can't none of em hear too good so they have to get real close to you when you pick out your food that you want. Her face was right where my face was so I said "wangs!!' real loud. She said ok. Some of the waitresses is real hungry too so they sit at the table with you but don't none of em eat. Quite possibly the worst Hooters we've ever been to. We came here after a South Alabama football game about a year ago and it's taken me this long to digest the experience. The place was roughly half full and was starting to empty out as the fans who watched the game on TV here were filing out. We sat for 15 minutes without a server coming by to even ask for drinks. The server was the highlight of the night and likely one of the prettiest at any Hooters restaurant. She told us the story of how she had a kid with a northern boy and was working at Hooters for the time being. Adorable, stunning and a sweetheart. One of America's most charming women with a smile that could win over anyone. I wish we came here for her, but we craved a bite and most other places were closed. She was the only good thing that transpired all night. We ordered and she returned within minutes (she said it wasn't her table, but took it because the girl who's section is was - was too busy making out and flirting with the table behind us). Upon return, she brought two plates for our wings. I grabbed one and gave the other to my cousin. The bottom one was covered in wing sauce. Someone didn't wash it and put it back in the clean pile. At this point, we were ready to leave, but being hungry, we stayed. She came back again, with the wrong wings, which were cold. Again, she was embarrassed and went back to the kitchen. When our burgers arrived, eat was the wrong burger and the fries were cold. When I say cold, I mean they tasted like someone threw them away and hour ago, took them out of trash and put them on our plate. They remade the burgers and we waited another 15 minutes for them. This time they came out right, but not after a comedy of errors and another batch of bad fries. Unfortunately, this was our experience here. No leadership. No management. One friendly, beautiful waitress who wanted to make things good, but mentioned the cooks could care less about doing their job and she was more than frustrated. I don't waste my time writing negative reviews, and Hooters does have good wings. The servers seemed very nice to us, but I was shocked at how they treated the adjoining table of all girls trying to watch the game. Not offering to take or deliver drink orders. I started ordering my neighbor's drinks after halftime, and we too became treated with open and unashamed hostility, and at one point had 45 minute turnaround on drinks. Chicken wings, (to use the southern turn of phrase) "ain't that hard folks". There are plenty of other places for sports and wings. I was revolted by the way we were all treated. read more

I'm not crazy about Hooters as a chain. I've been to my share of Hooters around the country, and this one is a little below par. I'd give it two stars, but I have to take into consideration the geographic location. The prices are outrageous (as usual for Hooters), so you either have to spend through the nose to get what you want (Sam Adams), or settle on the specials (Miller Light) so that you don't go broke. Ten wings and a pitcher of Summer ale cost about $30. The wings were pretty greesy to boot, not at all crispy. There are plenty of other places that make better wings. I wouldn't go here if that's all I really wanted. The girls at this one are cute enough, and they are plenty good enough at their jobs, never in want of service. There are plenty of TV screens and a nice outdoor area in front of the place. So it's not a bad place to go after work (basically the only reason I go here). If going to Hooters is your thing, then you're going to get what you expect. read more

The service was terrible, had to ask to get a water three times, and we waited for over an hour to get our food which was then highly unsatisfactory. They then charged us double what we were supposed to pay and there was no apology or compensation for having to deal with the worse than terrible experience. Food is mediocre at best. Bar smells really bad, had to move before i could even begin to consume first beer. Tvs are better than average good selection for March Madness. The Hooters on Airport in Mobile used to be one of the best locations in all of Alabama, but not anymore. I had a horrible experience here on March 13 of this year (first time in eight months I had been there) that may result in me not coming back for years, or perhaps for good. The wait staff was uncharacteristically rude and disrespectful to me that morning, and I NEVER did anything to anyone there to deserve that type of treatment. I knew Kayla, who greeted me at the door, from my three visits the year before. However, when I asked her where her section was, she seemed extremely hellbent on seating me with Anthanette, who I had never met before, and told me she was going to do so. I guess I should have walked out before I was ever seated and went somewhere else for lunch, but I gave Anthanette a chance. And she turned out to be very rude by the time I left. She REFUSED to take a picture with me (Hooters Girls are expected to be camera ready at all times, and anyone who can't be photogenic with/for customers like all the other girls really shouldn't be working there.) after she initially AGREED twice, rushed me into paying my tab before I was ready (she wasn't even about to leave, she said she just wanted to clear my table out of the system) and had the nerve to demand a tip from me when she handed me my change back. I shouldn't have gave her one. And I sat and waited longer than I should have before she had the nerve to tell me she had changed her mind and didn't want to take a picture. If she absolutely had to decline, why couldn't she just tell me that at least 30 minutes earlier instead of stringing me along the way she did? I encountered an overall unfriendly, bad vibe from start to finish that was very un-Airport-like. Even their most popular Calendar Girl didn't seem very happy to see me for the first time in four years. So whenever I'm in that part of Mobile in the forseeable future, I'll just go to Walk-On's or elsewhere. But Hooters is still my first love and I'll continue to instead visit other locations in my area as long as I get friendly and very good service. read more

Man, such poor reviews. My service was great. The hostess talked to me the whole time. My server was attentive. Other waitress were even friendly who didn't wait on me and even were playing around with me. Makes me wonder what all these other guys are doing or not doing? I'd start with making sure you shower, brush your teeth, and do a few sit ups here and there. Retake. The wings sucked IMO though. read more

I have been eatign at Hooters since 1983 in Clearwater. I always love thier food. The service at this location can vary at times. The service seems to be better at night time than during the day my guess being that the tips are better during the night. If you plan on going during a gametime or UFC make sure you get there early. read more

My boyfriend and I visited this establishment a week ago on a Thursday night, and we sat outside. Our waitress came outside to deliver our food and noticed our drinks were empty, but she never returned with refills. I was also annoyed that we waited so long to receive our ticket. I had a horrible experience today. I went today after church to eat some wings with my 3 boys and watch a little football. I ordered sweet tea and my sweet tea had a film on the top of it. I sent it back and asked for another glass of sweet tea. My replacement tea had a film on the top of it so I asked for sweet tea in a to go cup. When I unwrapped our utensils all 4 pairs of utensils had dried food on them. I asked the waitress for more utensils and hot water to put them in. She brought the hot water in a class. The hot water had black stuff in it AND a film on the top.I explained to her that I could not sanitize the utensils in dirty hot water. The waitress was nice but I was done! I can't eat there or let my boys eat there. If they aren't cleaning their utensils and cups good, what else are they not cleaning good? read more

Great place! Far better than the one we went to a few times in Gulfport. It's always busy here so I don't understand why they don't have more stars! The service is great both at the bar and on the floor. Waitresses are friendly and fast. The fried pickle appetizer is good. Crispy and with a good breading. The sauce is so yummy I use it for my fries too. Last time we went I had the burger. It was perfectly cooked and came out quickly and super hot. Fries were excellent. Husband had the wings that are finished off on the grill. Now he asks for those whenever we go anywhere else and wings are on the menu. Previously, we both ordered salads. The shrimp one is awesome. Blackened shrimp is mmmmm. Very flavorful. I even ordered a side of blackened shrimp since we stayed to watch the game. The buffalo chicken salad was really good too. Restaurant is clean every time we go. This is definitely our go to place when we're in Mobile. read more
