Went in last night to catch up with a friend and the host came up to us and we were seated right away. It was Wednesday night and the game was on but thankfully it wasn't too loud or crazy. Our waitress Kali (not sure if that's spelled right) came over quickly and got our orders and checked on us several times throughout the night without being pushy. The food was OK. The fries were a little burnt and in pieces as if it was the leftovers at the bottom of a bag and the shrimp my friend ordered also wasn't great. However, the burger I had was delicious. Reno Hooters was weak. returnEd to Fla. we went to Palm Bay Fl. location 2x over 2025, Xmas, College Bowl Games. Plenty of seating available both times. 1st time we sat at bar, just like old times great atmosphere & service, we both tried fried fish, ample portion, vg. batter, but fish was mushy and not flakey. would not order again. 2nd time, again for a BowlGame, To watch Oregon Ducks, No one to greet and seat us. After a few minutes we decided to take a table in front of biggest scree, next to bar seat. No one ever came to table, 3 staff passed by but not even eye contact. 8 minutes till halftime, when halftime started I put on my 10 gallon cowboy hat and we headed down the road! Swung by this Hooters in June 2025 as I drove up to catch a movie at the local cinema. Was really in the mood for a burger or fish sandwich along with a couple of draft beers and figured I'd check out this Hooters that look big and brand new. I literally walked in scoped the place out, quickly made use of the restroom but there was literally like no atmosphere which wasn't the end of the world. Yet what was truly sad was that the few Hooters girls weren't all that at all and I couldn't convince myself to stay not even for one beer. I opted instead to going to a nearby LongHorn's Steakhouse for a decent steak and the couple of beers I was craving. Had the most horrible experience with my family today. Ignored as soon as we walked in and then we got sat and waited 15 mins before someone actually came over (I had to go find them.) Food took an hour to come out ,when the food came out EVERYTHING was incorrect and no one had the correct sauces on their meals. the manager said he was going to take the messed up meals off and all he did was give a 10% military discount. The manager at the Palm Bay location was too much of a coward to come over so he sent the waitress over to give us the "updated bill" never too anything off the bill , no one ate. I've always been a big fan of Hooter's wings. I know what you're thinking, it's the Hooters girls. Sadly that's not it. I just love wings and cold beer from almost anywhere. I found the closest Hooters was right across the street from a Bass Pro. Imagine that! A fun ride. This Hooters location has got to be the cleanest, most well managed, fun Hooters I've ever been in. And I've been in a lot! The wings are delicious the beer is cold and the service impeccable. But I have to say there is one bartender named Cat, a very young looking girl who really takes it to another level. The past three times I've been there, she was my server/bartender. She's professional, proficient and has the best attitude and work ethic I've ever seen there. She started when she was 18, six years later she's a major force. She'll tell you, she genuinely loves her job, and it shows. I've seen her run heaps of glasses, bus pans full of dishes, trash, whatever it takes, while others watch. Every task is with a smile. I'm sorry to see the smoked wings and Ghost pepper sauce go, but I'd go just for the upbeat atmosphere and service. Today was a Sunday with football. The place was literally packed. Cat and another bartender Kaylee worked the whole bar and made drinks for all of the packed tables, insuring everyone was happy and satisfied. Cat walked the whole bar speaking to every customer. I've seen places where certain employees have a following. At this place, the employees have their own cult! And it's easy to see why. We ordered lots of tots...no sour cream with a store right next door. They took all burgers off menu, so no sliders for our grandkids. NO SMOKED WINGS. Really? changed/or deleted sauces. I always and forever order hooters original wings med. they came out with extremely minimal breading. I actually thought they were naked. The med sauce had no flavor, let alone any heat. You couldn't have even called them mild. Too many hosts not enough servers. I am an extreme Hooters fan. This is/was a beautiful and great food restaurant, that we drive an hour and 15 mins to go too. We have been to almost every hooters from the FL Keys to North Carolina, many years of patronage. I'll start with what's good. The hostess and waitstaff are phenomenal. There were six of us and we were seated right away. Our server Delaney came right over and throughout our time there gave us exceptional service. They sang the birthday song to our little one and he was over the moon. Now what's not so good, we went early in the evening and there was hardly anyone in the place. Our order consist of two orders of buy one get one wings, mozzarella sticks., a burger and the kids chicken meal We waited over a half hour for the food to be brought out and I wonder what happens when the place is packed. My burger that I ordered very rare was well done, and the well done fries we ordered were cold as in uncooked. I didn't send them back because we had waited so long for the food already. So I went to this location because they sponsored an adoption event for the local Sheriff's animal shelter in the past. That was when they peaked. Walked in....7 girls at the hostess stand.....not one said hi....we literally waited 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us.....should have turned around and walked out. Ordered a sweet tea...blah and weak...the ice water with lemon needed less tap and more water...I think they used a hose to fill it. BLAH!! The wings came and I started with a drumette. Very hot temperature-wise so that was a good start...the sauce was ok...not the two flames they touted....then I grabbed a flat.....noticed a few small chicken hairs....ok one it happens and two OK won't kill me.....then I grab another.....Two two-inch-long feathers are still attached...if you eat wings a lot you know you grab the bones and shove the flat in your mouth and scrape the meat right off.....if I had done that I would have had a rude awakening and might have choked on the two feathers. So I finish plucking the chicken and ask to speak to the manager....he goes oh...I will tell the prep guys....I said ok and then he offers a new batch....well I had lost my appetite by then and to be honest, the wings weren't that good. especially for 18 bucks... Bill comes and has no adjustemnt. No nothing. Now you ask why so harsh...one star...it happens right? I normally don't trust chain restaurants to provide good food, so I ordered Baja Shrimp tacos because that seemed safe. It was terrible. My shrimp was raw. My husband ordered wing and said they were "okay". The waitress explained their points system for beer where you only get so many large drinks but unlimited small drinks. Which doesn't make sense. I can't say I have eaten here too often lately...growing up I definitely visited because they were one of the few places you could get wings. Hooters is nostalgic, and because of that nostalgia I decided to give them a recent try. I ordered a combination with wings, boneless wings and fried shrimp, I also ordered the pretzels and cheese. This was a delivery order and food is not always as fresh when you get it as it would be if you sat down, however, the breading was thick and lacked any texture other than soggy. The flavor was there... But the breading destroyed the integrity. The pretzel and cheese was absolutely fantastic. I was shocked to enjoy this as much as I did hence why I'm giving it a three star instead of a one. The pretzel was so soft it was more of a bread while the cheese was perfectly melted and remained so while I nibbled on it throughout the afternoon. Plenty of salt and flavor and I will absolutely be stopping in just for this appetizer. I honestly got what I expected though the wings were not ones I think I will ever crave again, the nostalgia can stay in the past. Though, the pretzel and cheese will give me a reason to go again. Hooters! Ok, I'm a gonna stop you right there. Just can up that excitement because trust me you're getting too excited for the poor service experience you're about to receive. Our waitresses were missing for 20min before we could order a drink then 14 min before a coke arrive and another 25 min to take an order. The food arrives fairly cold and my guess is that it sat in the window for so long, someone else ran the food to the table. Halfway through the waitress asked how things were. Well, she forgot something probably because the food was delivered by kitchen staff and not the person who took the order. -1 star for service A negative star is too fold. They have these huge cool chandlers hanging above the bar and one is dented not a little bit but a lot! The installer should have sent it back or replaced it right away. It's been almost a year sense this place has been open and still and damaged centre peice? The food, hooters use to have good food bad service. Things have changed the bacon wrapped wings were made off sit and frozen them shipped to the store. I could taste the freeze burn and dryness of the chicken. The regular wings might be better still but their seafood was not good and bacon wrapped wings were not good. I have to say I'm a huge hooters wings fan. We are on vacation from down south. I ordered 15 medium. Shared them with my mom. Not only did we wait almost 30 minutes for them. But they were ice cold and small. Very little sauce. We didn't complain because we were starving and had to leave soon. Let me say this is one of the most beautiful hooters I've ever seen as far as the restaurant, TV's, and even the plates. The girls were sweet and good with service. Walking in, there are five staff members all chatting at a small table at the entrance. Ordered a simple 20 piece wing with ranch and celery and a Mountain Dew. I sat at the bar because I'm alone and didn't want to take up a table. My drink was refilled zero (0) times. My order took a long time, over 20 minutes to come. I ask for ranch and celery and got bleu cheese and wilted horrible celery. I would have had the celery and bleu cheese replaced, but I was never checked how the meal was. The wings were good, albeit a bit cool because I'm guessing they sat waiting for the a runner. Cleanliness isn't a priority as seen in this photo of the bar. There is another Hooters a few miles away. That one had very good food and prompt service. I would go to that one and skip this one. When I asked for the ranch and celery to be removed from the bill, that wasn't an issue. I would think a manager would have followed up, but I'm guessing they are part of the party of people working the front door. read more
