After not having stepped foot in one of these establishments in at about five years I'm not surprised. The gal behind the bar was attentive and nice. She had the voice of a thousand angels scraping their nails on a chalk board. "Dear god, please don't ask me anything" I found myself thinking. Instead of wings that I remember being awful I went for the "Baja Burger." I wasn't expecting all of the Baha to be on my end. Bland and not too flavorful. Luckily, the drunken gentleman beside me that was shy of 50 but boldly over the line of loud and creepy kept things awkward and unenjoyable. It boils down to one thing. People come here to stare at woman who are scantily clad. The food is shit, I don't care how many football games are on the screens and I'm ok with another 5 year separation. So. Boobs, butts, bad food and what's that last thing I keep hearing woman scorn for? Oh yeah, that whole feminism hullabaloo. read more

Hooter give you wings. I had the wing platter, my boneless wings were almost as cold as the beer. Great place for beer and socializing, disappointment if you are hungry. read more

Hooters - Dining area - Chicken Wings Near Me - Chester, Virginia

I never went to Hooters because the name was a turn off and demeaning to women. I was hungry and it was the only place opened and delivered. I tried the food and it was excellent. It was so good that I ate there 3 more times before I left the area. The people were friendly and service was great. read more

It was ok nothing special ,like others had mentioned the wings were tiny ,I ate 30 and was still hungry ,the service was good no complaint there ! read more

This is the second week in a row I've come here. I enjoy going out for wings and beer on Fridays after work. It's my thing. I couldn't frequent my usual spot due to other obligations on my schedule so I came in here. My expectations are pretty high. I like pretty girls. I like beer. And of course I love wings. Well, 2 weeks in a row and the smoker is broken. That's a big let down. My wings arrived without the accompanying Lots uh Tots I was looking forward to devouring. And... the wings were the wrong flavor. They remade my wings quickly and they arrived.. without the tots. The tots came later with the apology of the bartender. However, they were stone cold. I am so disappointed in this place. Sometimes it's spot on with food quality and service. But the last two weeks leave me with the thought of not coming back again. I WANT to love it. I love a good time. But this isn't the place to do that. The bar is dirty with grease streaks all over it. It's not fun. Not good food. Nothing makes me want to come back. This is just an honest review. I wish it were better. read more

the reason I only giving one star is because if the service. I went there with my wife and I've been there a few times but this time the waitress only checked on us one time, and when I paid she said have a good night and did not bring the change. I waited for 10 minutes and I think that is not the first time doing this. I believe integrity is the most valuable atribute, but I guess waitress Jessica dont have any. If you go there avoid a all cost to be served by Jessica. Tall skinny blonde with a tattoo over her right bisep. read more

I go here to watch the UFC fights for free. I recommend the fries with cheese sauce on the side. Is it rednecky? Uh yeah it's in Chester.

Use to go here every Sunday and Monday for football a few years ago. Went here the other day with a couple friends and had a great time. It wasn't what it use to be because the staff were all different. The girls that used to work there knew us because we were always there. So that gave it a bit of a different feel. I ordered a Budweiser draft, which was very tasty, 10 hot wings with ranch, and some curly fries with cheese. Curly fries with cheese were amazing as always. The wings were great tasting and breaded perfectly. I always get my wings breaded. Especially at Hooters! I was pretty shocked to see that the ranch was a dollar. I do believe you should get one free dressing per order of ten wings but that's just my crazy idea. After we ate we got a couple pitchers which were on sale for 8.99 (on Sundays until 6pm I believe) which isn't bad. Our waitress was great and friendly. She kept up on refills and always made sure we were okay. Other than the overpriced ranch and the old feeling of being a regular being gone, I had a great time. Can't wait to go back! read more

Typical Hooters business but being I'm from Florida, I know how they should be run. I had asked for them to change the cannel on the tv for the UFC fight probably 3 times and it still never got changed from the infomercial that was playing...They had their kids running around like it was play area at McDonald's and yet, it was the servers' kids apparently Saturday nights are also kid nights here in town, and at 11pm?? The food was decent but I think they forgot about our order and then ran it out from another server. Overall, not a bad experience overall but not a great one either. There's so many choices in the area, you can do better. read more

Not a big fan of any place that makes women dress in ways they may feel uncomfortable. How ever I am here to judge them on the food and service. So I have to say it was very good . I had the Smoked Caribbean Jerky wings and the were amazing. Also had some nachos and Queso cheese also good . The Bartender did a great job and a nice atmosphere. read more

Horrible service.. I also ordered a Buffalo chicken salad and got a piece of shrimp in it

It's not the best place I've been, but it's far from the worst. The service is hit or miss, which is why the rating isn't higher. read more

This place is worst we stood by the hostess stand for 15min. The place only had 3 tables with people at them. I was with 1 friend. There where 2 other groups standing ther 1with 8 people another with 4 people. It was around 8PM. I finally shouted a passing by waitress and she didn't even turn her head to look at us. Worst Hooters ever. We left. read more

Idk where to begin about my experience at this particular hooters! First, we get to the host stand (me and my friend) and it took a while for us to get seated.....cool no biggie ! We get seated and it takes even longer for us to get a hello from the servers , meanwhile we're sitting and watching staff take naps around the restaurant not to mention the cooks were turnt as well in and out of the kitchen having more fun then the guest! So we finally get someone to take our order and at this point I personally didn't want anything from there after seeing the environment of the restaurant! So.... My friend puts her food order in, 30-40 minutes later she gets her food and another like 20 minutes goes by and a server finally came back to the table which was like her second time in total! My friend put in a Togo order as well and you wouldn't believe how long 10 Togo boneless took but apparently there was only one cook available that night! But it was strange because there was so much staff just chilling and relaxing ! Won't be back to this location. read more

On 10/16 I came in for lunch and had the worst dining experience I've ever had. I ordered the grilled fish sandwich, 10 minutes later the waitress comes back to tell me they're out of that item so I asked if they had any other fish I could have grilled and she just walked away. The person I was with received their food, it was the wrong sauce on the wings and the cheese fries were cold. While waiting, the waitress never came to the table. I genuinely did not know what I was going to be served if I was going to be served anything. Finally 30 minutes after my friend received her food I received a grilled fish sandwich. No tartar sauce or fries came out with it, like it was supposed to. The whole time in Hooters a workers son was running around the restaurant hitting and yelling in other servers ears. I asked for the fries in a to go box, they were also cold. Overall it was a horrible experience, the server Deseray, was very inattentive. read more

Worst Hooters we've ever eaten. Soggy soggy soggy. Awful sandwich and wings. Forgot the chocolate milk for the kids meal.

This is my first time to a Hooters and I didn't know what to expect but I was hoping for a good dining experience with fun drinks and nice pretty girls. I experienced the opposite with a below average waitress and not very good service. The price for the drinks and the food were much too high for the quality and portion. Needless to say I will not be back to Hooters ever again. read more

Hooters - Chicken in our fried pickles...which were subpar.. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Chester, Virginia

Seriously, the worst food I've ever had. Ordered the fish tacos which were tasteless. I even had to dig through the mound of frozen cabbage to make sure there was actual fish. Heard Hooters are known for their wings so I ordered 15 of them. At little over a dollar a wing, I expected decent size wings. Nope. They were very small and not much meat. Extremely disappointing. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

My co-worker had convinced me to come to Hooters on our lunch break. I hadn't eaten at this particular location in years, partially because I use to work there over 10 years ago...lol. We sat at the bar and the bartender came over immediately. She was friendly and very attentive. My co-worker ordered the traditional wings with Parmesan Garlic sauce and I ordered the Smoked wings with Chesapeake dry seasoning and they both were delicious. Definitely a change since the last time a came. I will return more often. read more

Horrible service... Wait for my food for over an hour and never even got my appetizer... Waitress ran out of the restaurant, then about 20 minutes later another server came over to check on us. I let her know that we had been waiting for almost an hour and had not even got our appetizer then she said she would go and check, then she walked right by our table and never came back. read more

Great food! Yes, everyone goes for wings. I love the onion rings and the salad. The service is amazing!

The service is the below the bare minimum. At the end of our dinner a roach ran cross the floor. When we reported and someone came out to kill it; they acted as is this was standard practice. read more

The wings aren't very good, but if you really want to be disappointed order a chicken breast sandwich (NO flavor), fish sandwich (fresh...NOT) or a nasty burger. My alltime least favorite Hooters. The worst is the back stabbing between the girls. read more

Have rarely if ever written a restaurant review. Our recent experience with the Hooters in Chester, VA compelled this review. Worst. Burgers. Ever. Wait staff was great. Quick to seat us. Quick to take drink order and quick to deliver drinks. Food order taken. Then nothing. Kitchen excruciatingly slow. Then "food" delivered. We both ordered burgers. Two horrible thin dried out leathery over-cooked burnt to a crisp patties on one bun for each of us. The bun was good though! Condiments had to be asked for, brought in take-out style squeeze packets. However ketchup was on the table. Pleeez...be a real restaurant! Sandwich so horrible my companion took one bite and that was it. To the trash. I could only force myself to eat about half the sandwich, even that only because was very hungry. Fries were usual frozen fare served lukewarm. Onion rings (upcharge!) were thin thin thin horrible frozen product fried to a crisp. Basically some over-cooked skinny dough rings. Never again. Lost us Hooters. read more

Food is typical bad hooters food. Kitchen looks horrible. Beer is good when you can get one. Girls spend more time on their phones and hanging with their boyfriends sitting in the back then helping the customer. When you leave don't expect to be thanked. Too busy for that too. Only hooters I have been to that is bad. And it is very bad at that. Been their over 10 times and its bad every time. read more

Wow. Let me first say that my husband and I LOVE Hooters and go often. We live in NY but did a road trip to FL to visit his parents. And we literally planned the places we stayed overnight near Hooters because we knew it would be open late and we could grab dinner before our overnight stay. So in a week's trip, we stayed in Fredericksburg (which I'll write a separate review of) and had mediocre wings. Had a great lunch at Daytona Beach Hooters where his folks live. Then we stayed in Chester VA on the return trip and went to the Hooters there. The place looks great on the outside, and seems new and clean inside as well with great tv's. But when we walked in we noticed right away no "Welcome to Hooters". No management. No one in charge. No friendly anything. And we sat down and the booth next to us had 2 Hooters girls sitting and talking to the 2 guys there. Seemingly oblivious to the fact we sat down. Then another Hooters girl served the table across for us, who were settling their bill, left and she cleaned the table and sat another girl and served her. All while we were still just sitting waiting. A good 10-15 minutes. We looked to the bar to see if there was room there but it was crowded. Then a waitress came over and saw my husband looking to find seats at the bar. No "Would you prefer to sit there". No "Can I get you a drink, sorry for the wait". Nothing. It was the worst service I've ever had at a Hooters. In addition, there was a table full of what I would call trashy guys cursing left and right F this, BS that. Honestly, I couldn't even believe it. Total trash. No manager came over. No one said a thing. It's as like this place was just open and anything goes. What a shame. Several hotels for people like us who know the brand and gave them our time and money and what a disaster. The waitress who finally helped us disappeared several times and seemed to care less. The wings once again were mediocre. Not the crispy delicious ones we are use to. Honestly, what could have been a great stop on 95 is one we clearly have knocked off our list. Hooters needs some managers in there to improve things. But maybe they just want idiot drunk trashy guys for the clientele. read more

I've eaten at this location a few times and never had a problem. I'm giving them one star because the place was a mess. They are doing some sort of construction / renovation and half the seats were blocked off. We were stuck in the back where our waitress forgot about us. The food was good just a horrible setup. I'm sure once the renovation is complete this place will go back to being the awesome hooters location I've visited before. read more

Ordered the naked wings. 15 minutes later the waitress tells me they gave my order to another table. This is. It going well.

Corporate took over this location so I am sure that it is back up to standards.

Something not right here. Was missing the upidee up with the waitress and bartender. The atmosphere wasn't right or maybe the whole inside just needs to be updated. I went on a Tue night, not too busy. Wings were great and on point as usual. read more

Bartender was good, place was empty, beer was available. Naked Daytona wings came out 1/3 the size of a normal wing... I doubt I could buy wings that small anywhere! Manager NEVER even acknowledged the issue and spent his time walking around trying to find another customer. read more

Just stopped for dinner. We love Hooters wings and have stopped here several other times and service was slow but tonight was a record. Tonight we ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entries. One was a salad. The onion rings came in about 10 minutes but after 45 minutes still no other food had appeared. Our waitress apologized said they were on there way. We waited another 10 minutes and decided to settle the bill and leave. No manager ever came by to check on any of the patrons Probably won't go back to this location again. Surprised because this isn't how Hooters normally operates. read more
