I came here for a work event. I was impressed before I walked in since the hours were 12 or 1am. Most places by us in VA where I'm from close by 10pm. We came as a group of 6. The lanes were beautiful and had a great wooden backdrop at the end of the lanes. There is also a VIP bowling area for 8 lanes and they are across the alley from the main lanes. There was a huge TV the length of the 8 lanes. The lighting and decor looks different in that area. There is a large bar area and lots of seating throughout. There is an arcade, bumper cars, an throwing. The bowling and ax throwing were each $30/hr. I stopped to check out the ax area which I loved that each were separated by a wall. There was a projector that displays games on the target. The server showed me the games which included duck hunt. Our group had lots of snacks including mini corn dogs, charcuterie board, large regular pretzel with toppings and a desert cinnamon roll pretzel. I would definitely like to come back here again.

Upgraded screens with changeable themes.

Love this bowling alley. It's clean with a large amount of lanes. It has video games for all ages and you can win tickets to get prizes. They also have axe throwing for the big kids. They have a bar and offer food and drinks for everyone. The staff were nice and very attentive. The bathrooms are clean. I would definitely recommend coming by and having some fun.

A buddy and I were meeting for a drink, and I mentioned that Hoosier Alley had opened and the chatter about it was impressive. There aren't nearly enough options on the south side of town, and it seemed like an ideal time to stop in and see what all the fuss was about. I'd describe this place as a bar-restaurant-bowling-skating-axethrowing-arcade mega complex. I had no idea the former grocery store could be renovated and turn out as impressive as this place has. I'm pretty sure I'm going back immediately because it was much more than I had anticipated and I need to check out the food in more detail. I enjoyed my appetizer, and every meal that passed my table (yes I admit I stared at everyone's food) looked great. Walking in: Spacious. New. Clean and modern. You can visit the front desk to get rechargeable cards to use at the various games/machines. It's a typical setup with ski-ball, air hockey, driving games, punching bags, grab a gift cranes, etc - all to win tickets to use in their giant store. That's not my thing, but the kids were obviously enjoying it. Air hockey will get me for a few games every time, but tickets to win trinkets won't. The bar/food area is probably most important to many so I'll start with that. Around 10 TV's surround the bar plus the bowling alley has TV's down the lanes, so there are plenty of viewing options to see your favorite team play, etc. Bar is nice, with plenty of bar top seating. Additionally, a lot of low-top seating, for groups of all sizes are scattered around. The menu has options ranging from pizza to burgers to a wide array of appetizers. We were there for drinks, but decided to add a couple of appetizers to check out the food too. I ordered the breadsticks (if you have read my reviews, this shouldn't surprise you) and my friend ordered deviled eggs. I will not review the eggs. I tried not to look at the eggs. I definitely tried not to smell them. Deviled eggs are at the very top of my 'will not eat they're gross' list, so I can't comment other than to say they were fancy and he loved them. It pained me to add the photo because I hate deviled eggs so much. The breadsticks were very very good, and the portion size was HUGE. I asked for the family size order which in retrospect was a mistake. I should have just ordered the single size, but honestly everywhere I've been before breadstick orders always feel small. Not true here. They were terrific, and came with plenty of cheese dip. I now have three options for breadsticks in Bloomington that meet my criteria. Our server was great - she explained how everything worked, answered my incessant questions about food, and was friendly and prompt. We didn't participate in the various games, but there were 5-6 axe throwing stalls, 14 bowling lanes (rentable by the hour for any sized group - great for groups, not for me if I wanted to just go solo so I need to investigate options there), a bumper car area that was pretty small, laser tag, and a medium sized skate rink with old-school lighting that reminded me of my middle school days at skate land! I'd roller skate if I didn't think my old ankles would break and I'd be in the ER immediately. This is a group outing dream, with something for everyone. If my kids weren't grown up, my birthday party worries would all be solved in one location close to my home. I'll definitely be back soon because I saw so many food items at other tables that I need to try. For now, I'm just happy a new option on the south side of town has appeared and I'm impressed. To be honest when I first heard about the concept and location I had my doubts, but now that I've seen it I think it'll be a great addition to the community!

I already love the food at BK, and hit the drive through fairly regularly. The winning touch for me…read moreis the inside dining. Go to a McDonald's, eat inside if you can somehow find a clean table, and then eat at BK. Everything is better, and there are usually new menu items to try. Tonight I tried their bbq Whopper. I was a bit unsure at first, but it grew on me! Let's start up front. I get to order from an actual person! I don't have to figure out a terribly designed kiosk, I get to see a friendly face! Win! I get my choice of drink! Cream Soda Coke! Cherry vanilla Dr Pepper! I love those machines! The dining room was in great shape, with plenty of clean tables to choose from. In my McDonalds experiences, you're lucky to find one. As always, the food was great. And bonus! They had sheets for kids to color, and if they posted them they got a free ice cream from a real working ice cream machine. Oh - extra bonus. They actually fill the fry containers. They don't do that half fill that the clown place does. I love BK and I'll be back! And for the record, the 5 stars are 5 fast food stars. It was a very enjoyable experience.

It made for a good pit stop on a road trip and if I were to go through here again, would definitely stop by if I were in the burger mood. Burger King burgers are probably better than McDonald's in the overall fast food burger tier list. Not the best by any means but decent enough. TO EAT OR NOT TO EAT: Worth eating here. OVERALL: 8/10

I added an extra star to offset for these poor reviews! My son was craving some of this so I was…read moregame...then I read all of the crappy reviews and was anticipating a disappointment. However, I really loved everything...I got the medium hot chicken sliders and I absolutely loved them. The "Dave's sauce" was really tasty and the sandwiches were great. I'm a pretty good eater .. and I could only eat one slider. They're not really sliders, like you'd think (really small sandwiches) they were 80% of a full blown sandwich. The fries were really good to and I added the Kale Slaw and both of those were really good. Anyway -- this place is fast food- so expect that type of setting. The people working the very large crowds did a great job. I might be going back today cuz my son took my leftovers

I don't eat chicken but was really curious to try the "not chicken" cauliflower - I missed it the…read morefirst time they offered it, but since they brought it back a few months ago I've gotten it a few times in different forms. It's really good! People who don't like imitation meats will appreciate this because it's not trying to be chicken at all - you can clearly tell it's breaded cauliflower. Great texture when you bite into the crispy breading and get the perfectly cooked flaky cauliflower inside. The seasoning is intense and delicious. The hot is legit hot, but even the milder spice levels are still flavorful. I tried the cauli bites, tenders, and slider. The tenders are huge! The cauli bites and chicken bites are the same price, but the cauli tenders cost $2 more per tender compared to the chicken, so meals with the tenders are $2-4 more to the equivalent chicken entrees, which is kind of ridiculous because cauliflower has to be cheaper than chicken. If you are interested in the cauliflower, be aware that the batter contains dairy and egg, and it's fried in the same oil as the chicken. So it's unfortunately not suitable for vegans or vegetarians who are strict about cross-contamination. Did not have great experiences with drinks either time I tried to get something. I tried to get a Powerade slush, but was told the Powerade machine wasn't working, so I could choose another flavor if I wanted. The fruit punch was also apparently not working (although I saw the worker pour some out and it looked fine from what I could see), so I ended up with orange which didn't really do anything for me. I tried to get iced tea on another visit. I attempted to mix the unsweetened and raspberry but I think the machine may have been not working or just out of tea because I got what tasted like straight raspberry syrup and was undrinkable. I will give the tea another go if I confirm that the machine is fixed, because I like the Gold Peak tea. I think the food is fried to order, so you have to wait for the stuff to be made, but considering that, the service is timely. The place has been clean when I'm there. The indoor seating feels very industrial but there's lots of outside seating which looks nice.
