It was only AFTER that I found out that they have another location in Uptown, a mile from my house. Apparently they've been in the shopping center across from the Broadway post office for about four years now, but I never had a clue. I liked this location more not just because of the convenience factor of being in my neighborhood, but also because it's a lot more comfortable to shop. The aisles were much larger so you weren't squeezing by folks when trying to see all the goodies. The produce and fish/meat sections also seem much larger. So overall the store has a bigger footprint than the one in Chinatown. They also had merchandise at this store that I didn't see at the other, such as woks, bowls, and other such items. Parking is so-so. The parking lot itself isn't necessarily small, but there's a lot of businesses that share this lot and some of the spots are marked specifically for those businesses. For instance, the medical office here has about 10 spaces that are for their patients only. But given the location it's within a few blocks of the Wilson station, the Argyle station, and (when renovation is complete) the Lawrence station, as well as the bus lines, so there's lots of options for getting here if driving isn't your choice.

I appreciated that they have ample seating room for eating them at maximum freshness. We ordered the turkey & Brie and roast beef sandwiches. The bread was super fresh with the perfect crunch and chew. No ingredients were skimped upon with the perfect balance of flavors. I loved how the crunchy apple contrasted the slab of Brie on the turkey sandwich, and the roasted garlic aioli brought a great savory balance. The roast beef sandwich was pretty spicy and I loved the slight smokiness of the provolone. We left very satisfied and with leftovers. I would 100% stop by again in a heartbeat and absolutely recommend paying a visit!

I stopped in here after seeing posts on social media and I was not disappointed. I ate two of what quite possibly may be some of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The turkey and brie sandwich is out of this world. It has a smokey taste to which is supplemented by the subtle taste thinly sliced Granny Smith apples. The porchetta sandwich is perfectly salty and has perfect portions of meat, greens and fried capers. Both sandwiches are served on the default, fresh ciabatta bread. A true hidden gem, though likely not for long.
