Potstickers, assembled and ready to cook - A white decorative oval plate contains multiple uncooked potstickers, dusted with flour, arranged in a single layer on a dark granite countertop. The potstickers are crescent-shaped with folded edges. A printed recipe sheet titled 'Easy Potstickers' is partially visible underneath the plate, listing ingredients and directions for making potstickers. The setting appears to be in an Asian grocery store or kitchen area, emphasizing fresh ingredients and homemade preparation.

This is our go-to place for Asian ingredients. Much less hectic than the store south of Argyle on Broadway. Prices are very reasonable and the checkout is efficient. Parking lot on the side of the building. We shopped here recently to get potsticker wrappers and a fellow customer guided us to the frozen foods section where they were stored. Also picked up some Prince of Peace ginger candy and tea, and our favorite hot chili oil. Oh, the potstickers turned out delicious!

One of my fav Asian grocery stores. Just discovered the staff here has a professional durian opener - absolutely priceless - a service which none of the other stores here provide!

I've been coming here since I was a child. I love this place. I'm just disappointed they don't have a selection as big as they did.

Whenever I'm up on Argyle I make sure to bring a shopping bag because the grocery shopping there is fantastic.

It has a pretty big selection of produce. Careful in bringing the best stuff to here. They have a lot of experience selecting based on geographic regions, seasons, and weather. After going inside for the first time, we were surprised it was bigger than it appeared to be. It's got a pretty big produce section. This takes up a lot of the inside, and seems to be the main thing. A lot of the usual fruits and vegetables, but also has quite a lot that's not as common. The rest of the store has the bakery and deli counters, and they have fresh meats if you like getting meaty. Also they have a stand to get fresh gelato. The prices are pretty good, and they had lots of cheap specials. Clean and organized with everything looking fresh. It's certainly got Indian products, but there's a whole lot more, and good prices. This is located on Devon at Talman.

The place is clean and fairly well organized with helpful staff ready to assist. The best part is the fresh juice bar that they have. You pay for the juice at the cashier and take your receipt over to the juicer and they will freshly squeeze the juice for you. The sugar cane and the strawberry / watermelon were real standouts for us. Definitely worth checking out for both groceries but also to get some fresh fruit juices.

The butcher YaYa is excellent and ground my chicken breast fresh and also packed it very nice so I didn't have to re-package it at home before freezing it. I went to several other butchers who wouldn't pack the meat how I asked but YaYa without any hesitation agreed to do the job. They have a great selection of spices and also several ethnic breads made fresh locally that you can't find at your regular grocery store. Prices are similiar to other butchers and they do have weekly sales.

Locally owned by a family. That's enough of a reason to shop, but they also have pretty good prices. Big place to get lots. It's not just Indian stuff. Though there's certainly plenty of that. A lot from other countries. Middle Eastern particularly. Also it looked to be fresh. There's a pretty big produce section. Got some things that compared to other places were quite affordable. They have a lot of cheap specials. Fairly obvious this is a pretty international area. It's located on Devon at Artesian amongst the Indian markets and restaurants. This has plenty for meat eaters and vegetarians.

It was only AFTER that I found out that they have another location in Uptown, a mile from my house. Apparently they've been in the shopping center across from the Broadway post office for about four years now, but I never had a clue. I liked this location more not just because of the convenience factor of being in my neighborhood, but also because it's a lot more comfortable to shop. The aisles were much larger so you weren't squeezing by folks when trying to see all the goodies. The produce and fish/meat sections also seem much larger. So overall the store has a bigger footprint than the one in Chinatown. They also had merchandise at this store that I didn't see at the other, such as woks, bowls, and other such items. Parking is so-so. The parking lot itself isn't necessarily small, but there's a lot of businesses that share this lot and some of the spots are marked specifically for those businesses. For instance, the medical office here has about 10 spaces that are for their patients only. But given the location it's within a few blocks of the Wilson station, the Argyle station, and (when renovation is complete) the Lawrence station, as well as the bus lines, so there's lots of options for getting here if driving isn't your choice.
