The grocery store is huge and has a variety of Middle Eastern and Turkish goods. I bought several cheeses, from Kashkaval to Halloumi and most importantly my Labne! The meat looked extremely fresh, but I wasn't going to risk dragging it on the train with me all the way back to downtown, but I'll definitely keep that in mind if I drive back there. The isles are organized and neat. There's also a mini bakery in the store and it has delicious sweets and lots and lots of fresh bread. They also have the famous Middle Eastern Mankushe (thyme and cheese flavors)! I wanted to buy so many more things but there's only so much I can carry with me. They do have some good deals here that you can find on their weekly flyer. Food court is ok and has SGD tofu house which is my go-to, a fried chicken and corn dog place, and some other place I forgot that was probably meh. Staff are very friendly and things here are generally well-organized and easy to find. There's a Paris Baguette, too, which is often out of many kinds of bread if you go in the later afternoon.

I politely questioned why several traditional Balkan cookies in the bakery were all labeled "Serbian," when many of these desserts are shared across Balkan cultures, including Bosnia, and are not exclusively Serbian. Instead of simply discussing my concern, the employee who made the signs approached me aggressively and asked if I "had a problem with it." She then told me she didn't care if I ever bought the cookies. I spoke with the manager expecting a more professional response, but unfortunately, his attitude was no better. He raised his voice and told me he didn't care whether I purchased anything there either. I left feeling humiliated, discriminated against, and completely unwelcome. Regardless of anyone's opinion about how these products should be labeled, there is absolutely no reason to treat a customer this way for respectfully raising a cultural concern. After this experience, I will not return to this location, and neither will my family. Management should seriously address how customers are spoken to and treated.
