My sons car would not start. After trying to jump it ( later finding out my car did not have enough power to jump it) and check engine for any signs of problem. We could not get it started. I called Wes and he came right over. After finding out the the car could not be towed because the E brake was on, he tried to find how to turn off the E brake. My son was a the Toyota Dealers and they could not help with releasing the E brake. We were all messing with the car. Changing the FOB battery. The screen just kept coming up with "key error". Wes decided to try to jump it again. He pulled out his big charger and hooked it to the car and it lite up. It started and found it was a bad battery. Thank you Wes for staying and helping find the problem. Note to all... Don't have your E brake automatically turn on when you park. And two, always check the battery. New cars batteries suck and create real problems when they go bad. read more

Wes went above and beyond with me. We had to coordinate when we would meet at my car, and take it to the shop. Wes was right on time. He was careful with my car. He gave me the best quote in advance, and charged what he quoted. If I need a tow again, Wes will be my first call. read more

I needed to have my classic Mustang towed from University City to Valley Center. The Mustang is just starting restoration and it turned out to be stubborn when we tried to roll it out of the garage. Wesley was great in helping me push the car out, load it on his flatbed and tow it safely to Valley Center. Once we arrived, Wesley did a great job in backing it up a slight knoll and placing it in front of my garage. After being stood up by my own insurance company, I decided to go to Yelp and send a bunch of quote requests. Hook Up Towing was the first one to respond. They have competitive pricing and they were available. Wes, the owner was very friendly, was following COVID-19 guidelines, and had his mask on. He went above and beyond to help out. My Escalade was in the garage and wouldn't start, so we had to push that beast out and over a little hump. He was very glad to help...respectful...professional. I will recommend him to all my friends and family. Oh, and his truck is legit and looks like it can tow anything you throw at him. Thank you Wes & Hook Up Towing!!! read more
