Fish & Chips (Traditional Fish) - 2pc Traditional

If you need a restaurant that delivers quality, made to order fish and chips at a solid price, look no further than Hook, Line & Sinker! Stopped by during lunch to try their 2 PC fish & chips. Subbed the coleslaw out for potato salad, which is made in house and has a refreshing taste. The fish batter was light but crispy, and the fish itself was buttery smooth! The fries did their job and were very hot! All in all a delicious meal. Nice service too by the man at the register, who gave me a full list of options to sub out the coleslaw which allowed me to enjoy their potato salad. Plenty of indoor seating as well with some nice cartoon style paintings on the walls along with themed sea decor. I am indeed "hooked" after my first bite at Hook, Line & Sinker! I will be back to explore more of their deep sea menu.

Tried this resto because it was highly recommended by coworkers. You place your order at the counter and Service was fast and resto is big. Ordered fish tacos and they were dry. I had to use the sauce for the coconut shrimp to add flavor to it. The shrimp/fish combo - well, there's nothing special about the coconut shrimp but the fish was the bomb! Perfectly battered and fried. I also ordered clam chowder and it was good but the clams were a bit hard. Overall, I highly recommend the fish and chips- technically just the fish - forget the fries.

I have continued coming here for many years and I post because I definitely recommend this great little restaurant. The Food is Delicious, the People are Amazing and the Ambience is welcoming.

06/21/2024 My Dad was craving fish and chips so I found this place on Yelp. I think this used to be another seafood place because it looked familiar to me but the name was different. My Mom said the same thing. We came in the afternoon, between lunch and dinner. The place is casual - order at the counter and seat yourself. The employees were helpful and friendly. The fish and chips were yummy! The breading was light and cooked perfectly. Definitely coming back for the fish! The clam chowder was creamy and had a lot of vegetables (carrots, celery, and potatoes). I did taste a few pieces of clam in my cup. I'm still on the fence about getting it again. The crab cakes were okay. They are just deep fried breaded patties. You get two crab cakes in a side order. I wouldn't get it again.

Location a little unappealing. The workers not friendly. Ordered the red snapper and fries. Unfortunately the fish tasted old and greasy but meaty. The fries were frozen fries. A little disappointed with the atmosphere, didn't look clean inside.

The perfect seafood spot to try! I had their fish and chips and boy are their portions worth it! This place is super affordable. Staff is very friendly and they have a great place inside. They have lots of options and lots of seating inside. Their fish was cooked to perfection that it would melt. Just amazing and a great local find!

This place is always great! Fish n Chips are my go to! Great big delicious pieces! I always get five because I can never stop at three! The fries are even mmmmm. The tartar sauce is also very complimentary. Today I also purchased the clam chowder and onion rings. I'm a sucker for onion rings. I just bit into one. So good! So worth the wait for me to come here after a few months. Oh yeah! The lady that helped me was very nice! Worked fast and hard! Attended to everyone. Plus I thought she was pretty.

I was so pleasantly surprised by HLS! Came in here ready to just get fish and chips but we were stopped short by the massive menu. We ended up ordering the house fish and chips, the red snapper fish and chips, mahi mahi grilled sandwich, and a couple of appetizers. The house fish and chips are made from basa fish and the texture is very mushy and soft, and the flavor was not for me - I would not order this again. The snapper fish and chips were delicious! The batter was perfectly fried and crispy without being hard. And the grilled mahi mahi sandwich was so balanced and perfectly cooked! This was easily my favorite. The two appetizers were ok. The other thing that stood out to me was their cocktail sauce, it actually had horseradish in it and was very good!! Service was friendly and quick. It's a no frills restaurant that looks like they've been there a while. Ample parking in a huge lot. Definitely recommend this place!

Decided to try hook, line, and sinker after walking by it. The place is pretty spacious and the cashier was very friendly. As we sat down to wait for our food, I couldn't help but notice they had a variety of sauces to enjoy as well as bottles of hand sanitizers at each table! Excellent touch considering most of this food is finger food. Also, there are two TVs in the restaurant for your viewing pleasure. We ordered the 3 piece fish and chips meal, popcorn shrimp, and shrimp and fish taco. The fish in the fish and chips meal was huge! Unfortunately, the fish was more battered than fish and lacked any distinct flavor. It had a nice crunch, but I found myself having to drown my tartar sauce on the fish just to make it slightly more palatable. The popcorn shrimp was the same. Not much flavor and it needed a lot of ketchup and tartar sauce. However, it also had a nice crunch. The tacos came with lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Not sure if there was any sauce already on the taco, but none that I could taste. It also lacked flavor, and I found myself having to use tartar sauce to make it more enjoyable to eat. The meal didn't quite hit the spot for me, but the staff were friendly and the restaurant very clean.

I love the cooked ready to eat food options at this market. My local one only has a tamale guy but here they had that and another 10 vendors of ready to grab bites. This market is a pretty standard Asian goods focused grocery store. I found about 85% of what I wanted here. I wish they had a premium sushi section and some more Hawaiian imported goods (aside from juices and sauces) but otherwise I was able to find everything I was looking for. Their hot bar is also solid. A wide selection of items to pick and I felt the pricing was reasonable. Actually throughout the whole store the prices are good compared to other grocery stores right now. I had a full bag of items for $50, good luck elsewhere getting those kinds of prices. I didn't have too much of an interaction with the staff while there, but again, lots of people working and keeping this spot in tip top shape. Also the woman working the register who checked me out was very nice. A great supermarket and I'll definitely be back more often now since checking them out.
