The Flower Barn is located on a beautiful property where you can also enjoy brunch, host a wedding, or explore the garden grounds, all of which seem worth experiencing on their own. As someone who loves creative activities, this was an experience I would highly recommend. Walking into the Flower Barn felt like stepping into a magical storybook cottage. Dried flowers hung from the ceiling and lined the walls, creating an incredibly aesthetic and charming atmosphere. It is definitely a place where you will want to take photos. We were welcomed by Sandra, who was sincere, warm, and genuinely caring. She provided helpful guidance throughout the workshop and was wonderful to talk to. She would often bring over additional flowers that matched the look and feel I was going for, which made the experience feel very personal. You are able to make your bouquet as large or as small as you like, as long as it fits inside the provided metal container. The hospitality extended beyond just Sandra. The owner and Kim, the social media manager, were also very welcoming and happy to answer any questions we had. It felt like everyone there truly cared about making the experience special. At the end of the workshop, you bring your finished bouquet in the metal container to Sandra, and she carefully wraps it in paper and ties it with a ribbon. That final touch made the whole experience feel even more thoughtful and complete. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop not only for the creative joy of working with dried florals, but also for the genuine kindness and hospitality shown throughout the event. Grocery store strawberries are always a little gamble of is this sweet or will it be sour, and I'm generally okay with that as I love strawberries. But these? 100% guarantee to be the best strawberries you'll ever eat! We go early in the morning before it gets hot. It's pretty nice strolling down the lanes of strawberries and finding ripe ones. We got 10 lbs last trip and froze them so we can have them as long as possible. I feel like every time I go down to Sacramento, I'll be trying to figure out how to come down here. I really do love supporting this farm, it's run by a family that came from Thailand and they're really sweet! It's a true family own business, like you'll see the parents or daughter running the stand.
