The facility is gorgeous with the Berryessa Gap Winery sharing the location - though two different businesses. Nice seating area both dog and family friendly. Good food truck parked there as well - cheesesteaks this Saturday. The beer was ok - what I expect from a local brewery. Four stars as I had a flight and one of the beers keg blew as it was being poured. Basically served a glass of foam I was told would settle down. For a tasting flight I would've expected a new beer as this one turned out very flat. Overall the experience was really nice, but probably not driving that far off the 80 to try again. But if we find ourselves in Winters we'll definitely be back.

They also have NA hop water for those who don't want to drink, or you can get wine at the winery next door if beer isn't your thing. I myself got the rice lager which I really enjoyed. The only downside to this place is there's only outdoor seating (covered with some misters), so on a really hot day it may not be super comfortable to hang out long. This was the case when I went, it was tolerable but my beer got warm fairly quickly. I'll definitely be back but on a cooler day!

We were given menus and got a beer card for the "Wall of beer". You put your glass under the beer you want and it charges by the oz. The selection of beers seemed limited and many were out of beer. We ordered a Patty melt with fries to split. They gave us a second plate to use which was appreciated. We took our food outside down to the park. The one issue is the steps are very steep so you may need two trips to bring your stuff down. There is a large bar area for large gatherings which is nice. There are also restrooms there so you don't have to go all the way back upstairs.

The way they take time to think about every single ingredient going into a cocktail or their food offerings. An extremely nice place to take a date, or your family where you can feel relaxed and accepted, yet not lacking in a beautiful atmosphere. I've met some of my closest friends here! My favorite signature cocktail is the mango jalapeño which they thankfully sell in 4 packs and they taste just as good as if they were made fresh. I'm not scared to try drinks made with liquor that I normally wouldn't drink as they are so scientific about the ingredients going into the cocktail that it flows so nicely! They've turned me back onto whiskey just with how delicious it is. Also they kill it with the gin and vodka flavors. 10/10 will always tell my friends and family to visit when they're in town, and if you're a townie and you haven't been here- wtf are ya doin?

It's a logistical masterpiece: a brewery and winery on one property, ample parking, a food truck, covered seating, and live music to drown out the chorus of "Are we leaving yet?" I opted for their wine tasting, which I can only describe as a "DIY Guessing Game." A cashier, doubling as a silent sommelier, poured a series of mystery liquids into my glass with the solemnity of a secret agent passing a coded message. What were the notes? The varietal? The tragic backstory of the grapes? The world may never know, as tasting notes were apparently classified information. The tasting is free if you buy a bottle, which is a brilliant strategy. By the end, you're so desperate for a label with information on it, you'll happily pay. It's the perfect spot to bring the family, enjoy the scene, and have a glass of... well, something red. Just don't ask what it is. It ruins the surprise.

I'm not much of a beer drinker these days, but I find myself coming in on most weekends because I enjoy the beer and atmosphere so much. There's a fairly consistent rotation of beers to try out. I really appreciate that they are willing to take some chances. Some may turn out better than others, but the variety is nice. I'm really enjoying the Island Lager at the moment. Staff is always wonderful. I wish I knew more names, but Andrea and Nick are especially fun to be around. Still a variety of bands and food trucks to check out while here. Multiple trucks on many weekend days. Some trucks come from as far out as Napa. One small complaint...The Wife and I really enjoyed the Music Bingo on Thursday nights. We were sad to see that go. If there's any chance to get that back, we'd be sure to attend consistently. It was a lot of fun.

Which was why when craft beer boomed everywhere else, I wasn't at all surprised that it was largely absent from Vacaville. & that is also why Solano Brewing Company was such a pleasant discovery for me. On a visit back to the area, a friend I used to homebrew with for years introduced me to an actual craft brewery with, technically, a Vacaville address. While it's a good distance outside of town, it's still close enough to be someplace to go around Vacaville that's more interesting than the town's repetitive corporate chain dining & big box retail. It's a great spot to grab some quality brews. There's plenty of parking. There's inviting spaces, both indoor & outdoor, for sitting & relaxing a while. The outdoor area is quite expansive. The service has been friendly & welcoming. & yeah, I like the beers. For me, Solano Brewing Company is 1 of the better breweries in the Vacaville/ Dixon/ Davis region. So if you're in, around, or near Vacaville looking for a day/ night out to chill & maybe have a beer, consider Solano Brewing Company as an alternative to the ho-hum humdrum predictable complacency of the town's many name recognition chain brands. Whenever I'm back around these parts, I'll likely be back

It was early, around 4:00 p.m., and there were only two people dining inside. They agreed and eventually placed two tables together indoors. My thought was, why was this not offered from the beginning, especially given the heat and how empty the restaurant was? The ambiance was great, but unfortunately, the food was not. I ordered a salad with chicken. The salad was very skimpy, with only two thin slices of apple, two small orange slices, very little feta, and mostly lettuce. The chicken portion was extremely small and was served separately on a plate rather than sliced and placed on the salad as ordered. The other dishes were also small and underwhelming. The burger and fries were nothing special, and the spaghetti was plain and lacked flavor. If you are looking for great ambiance, this may be a nice place to visit. But if you are looking for great food, you may want to consider other options. For a great burger, I would recommend Buckhorn instead. It costs less and is much better.
