I've been here several times and have always received friendly, excellent service. Most recently, I ordered 26 custom cupcakes for an event and couldn't have been happier. I was shocked that there's nearly 2000 reviews and I hadn't heard about it but definitely walked by several times. Upon entering, I immediately got school classroom vibes from the decor to the desks used as tables. We went with 3 cupcake options but they have more to choose from and even customizable ones. The Peach Cobbler Cupcake was the Winning Flavor on Food Network's Cupcake Wars! I can see why. The peach purée along with the brown sugar streusel was so good! The Blueberry Cheesecake Cupcake had a delicious cheesecake cream and the blueberries were tart and juicy. The Creme Brûlée Cupcake had a creamy custard and caramelized glaze on top which is exactly what you'd expect from creme brûlée. These cupcakes were some of the best I've ever had! All 3 were made with vanilla cake which I have to say was super moist, not too sweet, and tasted great. Next time, I would try their other cupcake bases or even do a TooGoodToGo order which would give you an even better deal on these!

Had to get one. it was ok and satisfied enough. Be aware that nothing is freshly baked at this tiny location and it is a bit pricey for what it is.

While the presentation was 10/10 across the board, the flavors ranged from "nostalgic perfection" to "a bit of a letdown." Devil Dog (The Winner): This was by far my favorite. It was a trip down memory lane, perfectly capturing that nostalgic Hostess chocolate cupcake flavor I loved as a kid. Lemon Raspberry Meringue: Coming in a close second, this cupcake was bright, fruity, and incredibly fresh. It felt light and offered a great balance to the richer flavors in the box. Ube: This cupcake was stunning to look at. However, the flavor didn't quite live up to the exotic profile of a purple yam; it tasted like a traditional vanilla cupcake that just happened to be purple. Great for the aesthetic, but standard in taste. Hummingbird: This was the only real disappointment. I was expecting the signature tropical punch of pineapple, but it lacked that acidity. Instead, it felt more like a simple banana nut muffin with icing on top. Final Verdict: Overall, the experience was positive. The shop clearly has a talent for decor and nostalgia. I'd definitely return for the Devil Dog and the Lemon Raspberry, but I might skip the Hummingbird next time. Last Note: The woman working in the bakery was a bit rude and had an attitude and that alone will make me not com back no matter how good the cupcakes are.

Remember when this was one of Carrie's hangouts on "Sex & the City"? That exposure triggered nearly 70 locations worldwide. Jamie W and I were back in the neighborhood after a tipple at Julius'. I have to admit I never understood the appeal of the cupcakes. However, I had never tried their banana pudding before, and I liked how you can grab a readymade carton from the fridge and pay for it right away. Meanwhile, a lot of self-absorbed women were crowded around the cupcake display waiting for their little boxes. We took our stash across the street to the mostly deserted playground.. Ah, so the pudding was the draw all along. We grabbed two, the $6.25 Chocolate Peanut Butter (Photo 5) and the $5.75 Classic Banana (Photo 4). They both have lighter-than-expected whipped cream and sliced bananas. Of course the classic layers Nilla vanilla wafers, while the other applies Oreo cookie crumbles and chocolate chunks. No complaints about either, though the classic still wins. FOOD - 4 stars..indulgent treats, aren't they?
