Today it was a simple just some acetone as I wanted to wipe off paint and the basic store bought stuff just won't do it and as small as this shop seems to be they do have it all and was very easy to find than the larger ones as it literally took me a minute to find it and a minute to reach to the register without a wait and was on my way faster than taking the needed pics to show off this great Kailua location. If needed staff is very easy to find here but as I knew exactly what I wanted it was okay and parking in the back is spacious with short walks to the automatic doors is just nice to have a quick spot to find exactly what you need without being lost as I finished my project so easily. There was two guys, and one remained back to tweak doors, drawers and ensure straight lines! This final guy was on it! Very meticulous! He cleaned up well and install was perfect! Price was very reasonable. We went to the showroom and picked everything out with helpful suggestions from Ethan. From start to finish Ethan has been keeping us posted of each step from day to day. - Looks nice at first, but costly long-term issues…read more My mom remodeled her home in 2013 and purchased cabinets and countertops from Golden Cabinets & Stone for both the upstairs and downstairs kitchens. The staff were nice to work with, and everything looked great initially. However, issues started early.We began noticing white droppings and small circular debris falling from the cabinets. We raised concerns about possible termites but were told it wasn't an issue. We even tented the house, yet the problem continued. Fast forward to 2026...We are now forced to replace all the cabinets due to termite damage. This has turned into a very costly and frustrating situation, especially considering the original investment and ongoing repair costs. Additional challenge:We rent out our downstairs unit, and tenants are not always able to recognize or report these types of issues until after they vacate, which delayed identifying the full extent of the damage. Bottom line:While the cabinets looked nice at first, there were serious issues with quality and longevity. Recommendation:I would not purchase from here. At the very least, ask detailed questions about product quality, durability, and replacement options before making a decision.

Don't use their cabinets. Their cabinet hinges are of very poor quality and their after-sales…read moreservice is not good either. The hinges of their cabinets door often break easily. We ordered from Chelsea at Big Rock Fabrications and all seemed great. Then attempted delivery…read morebecame an issue. The delivery driver showed up unannounced and left with the delivery at hand. Chelsea, from Big Rock Fabrications assured us that they had not attempted delivery. Delivery was attempted, just as our cameras had recorded. A couple of weeks later, the same truck and Company arrived with our rock. Transport claimed it had not tried to deliver the first time, Big Rock Fabrications told us it had not attempted to deliver as well. The cameras don't lie. However, we were happy to have our rock at hand ,we had a project to get started and we were excited to get started turning our back yard into a piece of paradise on the mainland. Unfortunately, we realized that multiple pallets of rock had arrived cracked and unusable. Once we notified Chelsea at Big Rock Fabrications of the situation with the broken rock that is when the ghosting began. We would call and receive the standard, "we are working on it". Then the phone calls began to be ignored. No information, no call back and no guidance and even hang ups. Basically they were great until they weren't. It is a shame that a business treats their customers this way. We were very patient and dealt with the situation very professionally and with aloha. Our contractor called, the subcontractor called, the homeowners called, all to no avail. They even started to screen the calls. They went out of their way to ignore us. It would have been easier to let us know it could take a while and explain the process. Our family from Hawaii wanted to help us and speak to Big Rock Fabrications. They would assure them that they were looking into it and we should hear from them real soon. Fast forward... we still do not have our rock. We have an unfinished project. We were not ever offered a solution. This is a big lesson for us, the homeowner. We had not updated our home in thirty years. We should have checked the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Had we done so we would have learned that Big Rock Fabrications is not BBB Accredited. That is their choice , but a company that is BBB Accredited builds trust with their customers, advertises honestly, tells the truth, is transparent, honors their promises, are responsive, safeguards privacy, and embody integrity. Big Rock Fabrications did not embody any of these characteristics through our process with them. @HGTV, Renovation Aloha, kamohaiandtristyn, do you really want to advertise and support a company like this? Kamohai and Tristan, each of your homes is so graciously blessed and honored by your Kapuna. We have been so dishonored and mistreated by Big Rock Fabrications, absolutely no aloha spirit. We do not recommend Big Rock Fabrications because if you spend your hard earned money as we did, you will be disappointed.
