We had to go through the main mainland company to receive a refund on old product that went off in the cans, and we spend thousands on it (urethane epoxy waterproofing system) We decided to go with a different product so received a full $ refund for the old stuff they sold us. I want to congratulate the HONESTY of the one employee who acknowledged the product was nearly expired at purchase, and the management WAS aware, and they sold it to us anyway? So, thank you for your honesty, and we will not be retuning for anything else. We now go to all Weather Surfaces. They explain the fast shelf life and they will order product for you to be SURE it is not expired! so ABC has 5 stars for the main company's involvement in getting us a full refund and 1star for the local store's one honest person=3 stars. The prices were competitive with Home Depot, but still a little higher. At the checkout the yard worker was there and he was acting angry about my order. I said "is there a problem with my order?" He responded with anger and said "do I have a frickin choice?" I told him I would load it up myself and he didn't have to worry about it. It was 3:30pm, not 3:55 right before close or something. When I was backing my truck up I could see him angrily ranting to his coworker. When I got out he just said "open the back of your truck...." Choosing to order me around instead of interact with me like a costumer. It took less than 5 minutes for me and the two workers to load the blocks. The unprovoked rudeness has made sure I'll never spend another dollar at Hardware Hawaii. Unless you enjoy being treated badly, spend your money at Home Depot.
