However, be prepared to pay more than what you'd expect as other reviewers had pointed out - the prices are high for what these items really should cost, which sucks, but I believe there is a reason(s) for this. I purchased a small plush keychain, a tee, a magnet and a sticker and the cost was just over $90 - the cost of the tee surprised me the most as it's $55 and I was expecting this to be more in the $40-$45 range. The store is on the smaller side and even on a weekday afternoon after 3pm, it was packed. It's located at the end of the row of stores, adjacent to the side of the Royal Hawaiian where the Sheraton is. Staff at the store were nice and helpful with any questions that I had. Besides the plushies, they had a great selection of stickers as well as magnets and keychains. For decades, I was aware of how popular Miffy has been in Japan (my cousin in Japan had Miffy items since the 90's), but for the U.S., I feel it has become increasingly popular within the last 2-4 years or so. I'm not sure if it's possibly because the creator, Dick Bruna had passed away in 2017 and since then, licensing and the creation of more Miffy merch and collabs may have become more easier to come out with, at least that's been the speculation. Although I'm generally not a fan at all of Hello Kitty or Sanrio, nor do I particularly like rabbits, there is something about Miffy that does appeal to me more than Sanrio characters - likely the simple design and neutral expression on Miffy and that it came before Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty and its European vibes. Before this, I'd ordered a plush Miffy keychain from the Kira online shop in SF. The keychain ended up being much bigger than expected for me to place on a bag/backpack so I decided that I'd stop by this store during my few days in HI to see if I can find a smaller keychain and maybe a tee as I heard this is currently one of only two Miffy themed stores in the U.S., the other being Miffytown in Kentucky. If you're in Honolulu and are a fan of Miffy, then this is worth checking out.

My mom and I stopped in because she was looking for earrings. She had mentioned before that Pink Box has cute selections at reasonable prices, so we decided to browse. While she was looking at earrings and pointing out styles she liked, I was helping her look through them. For context, I don't even wear earrings since I have large gauges, so I wasn't shopping for myself in that section. Afterward, I moved over to the claw clips and was looking through some butterfly clips to see if they came in matching colors. A sales associate approached us and asked if we needed help. We politely said no thank you and continued browsing. What made us uncomfortable was that after that interaction, the employee remained very close to us and appeared to be watching us the entire time. When we moved to a different area, she followed. Whether intentional or not, it felt as though we were being monitored because she suspected we might steal something. My mom and I both noticed it, and it made the shopping experience uncomfortable. We are paying customers who have visited this store before and have never given anyone a reason to be suspicious of us. I understand that retail employees have a job to do, but there is a difference between being attentive and making customers feel like they're under surveillance. Unfortunately, because of that experience, we didn't feel welcome during our visit.

Walking into the vibrant shop it was opened later than their usual time of 9A-330P since there was an event going on with neighboring shops to stamp and visit for a prize is a great way to celebrate these local biz but with that they had to delay their grand opening due to the rainy weather we've been having but walked into the ending of celebrating with a blessing. The shop is as colorful as their beads a bright pink with selves filled with various kits and a huge chest filled with the vibrant rainbow shining as it reflects the light but the bead bar where there are trays of each color for you to crafts on the spot as it's priced depending on items you want to create bracelet, car charm, keychain and more lots of finished inspire items for you to look at along with the staff who are so nice and friendly to answer any of your questions. I consistently receive compliments every time I wear one of her pieces. She has wonderful customer service and her jewelry is always packaged well. Back in March my husband and I had a trip planned for Honolulu Hawaii and I realized her shop would be nearby. We were celebrating our 4th anniversary with the theme being fruit or floral. We thought making an appointment at the jewelry bar would be a fun experience for our trip so we could design a custom piece. I made the appointment online which was super easy and we headed to the shop the day of the appointment. Kristi was very helpful with guiding me in the design process. I had a rough idea of what colors and styles I liked. If you don't upon arrival she has pieces in the store you can look at for inspiration. I myself really love dainty and simple jewelry and had been looking for something to replace a broken necklace. They had Tahitian/normal pearl necklaces, Monstera leaf designs, simple forged bracelets, and rings galore. I think what sets this place apart from other jewelry stores is that you are able to make your own pieces and add all types of cute charms (e.g., initials, local inspired designs, and ocean pieces like cowrie shells and pearls, to name a few). They also have some little makeup canvas bags towards the register side with beach-y, island designs. The jewelry itself is quite affordable and the fact that each piece is crafted from top-grade stainless steel and is waterproof, tarnish-resistant, and hypoallergenic is perfect for Hawaii's climate and lifestyle. They also box up each item very nicely so that if you want to give this as a gift to someone, it really is a good deal. My triple pearl drop necklace was ~$79, for reference. All in all, I'll definitely be back to buy a few more pieces.
