The MOST WORSE STORE EVER! The staff has no customer service skills being rude to customer who may be interested in buying their items. Was playing tourist and came upon this store. The look and feel is nice, clean and organized. I bought some pretty Hawaiian hair clips. Like other reviews it seems as if their stuff is easily broken. When I got home from my trip half of the big cute hair clips I bought were all broken. I saw another yelper wrote about their friendly service and how they helped them package everything nicely as gifts. Sure didn't get the same treatment. Since I have already returned home doesn't seem like I will be getting money back for half of the broken. The purchase is not worth the quality. As the other reviewer also posted prob better to go to ABC store. However they did not have these types of clips. Sad and disappointed with quality. Now I don't have enough gifts to hand out. This is hands down the best store in Waikiki for buying souvenirs and gifts from Hawaii! This isn't so much of a clothing store as a novelties store. They have all kinds of items, ranging from jewelry to bookmarks to hair ties to statues-- all at very reasonable prices. I probably did four laps around the place, finding new items every time because there's just so much variety all around. It's all beautifully laid out, unlike some of the other places in town that seem to just jam as much as they can on a shelf and try to make it work. With a name that includes "Boutique," I expected premium prices, but that's not what you get here. My wife and I were grabbing souvenirs on our honeymoon and came by here early in the process, but only grabbed a couple of items given that there are so many other stores that advertise gifts and souvenirs. We ended up coming back twice to buy the other items we needed because they have the exact same gifts at better prices. read more

Items here are overpriced and are quality items. Hello Kitty backpacks sell for $68? Asked if we wanted a bag and we said no, still gave and charged for it. The main reason for the low review, a child in our party was very excited and putting items into a little basket because he wanted all of the toys. I was in the middle of telling the child to pick 2 items when the cashier decided to interrupt and show me a sign that says "you break you buy." Not understanding why she is telling me in this moment, I asked her what was broken? Her answer, a shrug or essentially nothing. In that moment, I decided I was not going to spend my money in an establishment where I didn't do anything wrong but someone wants to accuse me or suggest that I need to pay for something just because a child is excited. She ruined the chance for a kid to be happy and a sale for her store. Completely unnecessary and caused so much confusion in our party. Left a sour taste in all of our mouths. Tourists, this is the place to go to if looking for cute souvenirs at affordable prices. They have a variety of items from cute hair accessories to friendly items for the men and guy friends in your life. It does lack the million of t-shirts you will find at other stores, but for all the other knick knacs and nice items, it's more than worth it. The women here showed the best customer service out of anyone and checked boxes, packed things carefully, and were extremely sweet. I like the location too as you had to walk a bit to get here, but when you compare it to that crazy hot Houston humidity, then the walk became lovely. It makes for great sight seeing too. My husband and I came across this little boutique on our honeymoon staycation in Waikiki. We were walking to dinner when we passed by. I kept looking in the window but was reluctant to go in because everything looked so expensive. He pulled me in and guess what, it's totally affordable! I got my rabito phone case here for only 8$ and it's so much better quality than the ones I see at all the phone places and I even ordered one on amazon that wasn't nearly as good as the one I got here. Tis the season to be shopping. Walking down Kalakaua Avenue, I past by this boutique several times and I was never encouraged to stop in to check the place out. Today, there was a magnetic force pulling my friend and I inside. I was glad that we stopped by. Hamilton Boutique carries a lot of stuff, A LOT of stuff. It ranges from luggage tags to floral print sundresses to food erasers to nose brush to passport holders to toothpick dispenser. I mean, you could probably find some very useful knick knacks in this store. I'm glad I went into this store. I got some Christmas gifts and Birthday gifts. I also bought a cute $10 clutch purse for myself. Ivory color. Love it. The only bad bad thing about this store is the fact that there's no refunds and the exchange policy is within one week. Hamilton Boutique is located at the beginning of the Waikiki strip, several stores before Hard Rock. I walked in merely out of curiosity. I thought maybe they would have had some cute clothes in there... Unfortunately, their clothes section is uber tiny and I was too overwhelmed by the randomness and placement of everything else to go through it. There's seriously a lot of stuff in that store! At Hamilton you will find knick-knacks of all sorts, key chains, hair accessories, flip flops, potpourri, bags, tea sets, decorative pieces, etc. This is any pack-rat's dream! A bunch of useful and non-useful things jam packed in one store! I do not anticipate going back to Hamilton Boutique. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice store. What an amusing little "made in China" shop that's quite popular with the Japanese and Canadian tourists (like me, I'm guessing). I bought two cute little bunny pencil cases--one wearing a green shirt and the other a blue shirt--and ear buds shaped like pills and candy--each for around $5.99. Talk about perfect gifts around Easter and who knew that I needed these earbuds, after all? An odd shop as some things like costume jewelry were cheaply made yet 4x the price of forever 21; other things like the pencil cases were somewhat standard in price and the ear buds seemed to be quite cheap (mind you, the first pair that I tried out aren't really that great). The stationary and pencil boxes were written in amusing "English" phrases and everything was quite cute. I especially liked the little t-shirts that came in boxes that were cuter than the actual shirts (very Japanese). Also, if I hadn't purchased my Hawaiian fake flowers at the flea market, I could have certainly found some here that were even brighter and tackier than I ever imagined. Overall, a bizarre little shop where I had to buy a few things just for the sake of buying them. Probably my best find was a cute, little, sparkly, twinkly ornament for my cell phone, because I certainly needed one of those, too. Their prices are surprisingly reasonable (those foam flowers that are $5 at the ABC Store are $1.50 here!), and the selection is fantastic. While this place is a little farther down Kalakaua Ave. than most of the other shopping and the main hotel section, it's totally worth the trip. Dear Hamilton Boutique, I love you, I stayed in Hawaii for 7 days and came here 4 times. This store is so freaking cute and the stuff they have is so unique. This store is mostly for females but I highly recommend the males purchasing items from this store if their woman is into cutesy type things. Most of the items in here are pricey though. A regular white out is a dollar at walmart but here, three dollars because it is shaped like a bear. lol This store is very clean and organized and the associates are really nice. read more

This gift shop sells a variety of Hawaiian themed souvenirs and cute, random knick knacks. It reminded me of a Sanrio store, but without all the famous characters. I saw had adorable stationary items, little plush toys with straps, bags and coin pouches, hair accessories, picture frames, snow globe type items, apparel, soaps, and so much more random items. This is our 8+ trip to Hawaii so we really weren't looking for any more "stuff" to take back home. However, as we strolled along Kalakaua towards Waikiki, we stopped at this little boutique. Many of the things here are for tweens like pencil sharpeners in the shape of a nose where the pencil is sharpened by inserting it into a nostril - so middle school! LOL! We picked up a few cute things for our one and two year old granddaughters - rabbit shaped little purses for Easter for a few dollars each, a tiny hula dancer box, and some Hawaii lanyards for our work ID tags. Many of the items are merchandised for the Japanese tourist trade and the display signs are in both English and Japanese. The clothing sold here is along the line of "blingy stuff" with tons of sequins and crystal sparkles on them. I saw a particularly lovely wrap to wear with a dress on an evening out. We took a mother/daughter trip to Hawaii, and my 10 year old (nine at the time of our trip) is totally into Kawaii things and squishies. They had a great selection.
