Customer service needs a refresh. I have come here loyally for years. Today I was ignored and passed over at the register for someone more American looking. Looks are deceiving and my intelligence is no less. This was my dad's favorite peanut brittle. After years of being a customer I will do as I did today, I'll pass. If I'm not valued as others are I'll since my money elsewhere. Used to be a favorite stop and we were not a one stop to wonder guest. Be better, do better.

If you come through Durango, this is a cute place to stop by! We went here on the last day of our trip and our kids enjoyed it. They have a glass wall with a bunch of bees and our daughters tried to find the Queen bee. In addition they had all kinds of honey and jams to pick from. We ended up getting raw honey, and strawberry rhubarb jam - yum! They even have wine, honey liquor, and jam tastings. The workers were very informative on every item.. Definitely will be back if we are passing through Durango again!

This is a great stop for not only honey, but other things like some honey alcohol products, puzzles, whipped honey and other fun stuff. See the live bee hive picture below. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I bought 3 whipped honey butters and they gave me a box to carry them. The store is very casual and inviting. Cool for folks of all ages.

Love this place! On your way up to Purgatory I love to stop here. The kids enjoy looking at the bees and the gift store is great! Go check them out! Friendly customer service, sometimes they have samples. There is jam, honey, candy, liquor, and many other options available.

This was a highlight of our visit to Durango! The shop is cozy and filled with so many different honey-related items. There's even a live hive inside, which is intriguing to watch for a few minutes. We bought a few things. The price was reasonable for the specialty level and location. Definitely somewhere we will stop again!

Omg this place is a must stop. It is like stepping into a small country store but staff are not as friendly. Staff do need to understand they don't have a thing without customers. They have a beehive inside, you can taste liquor made from honey. The whiskey is the bomb. I like the place just need to have better customer service and lots of people stop here and I would think management wants them to buy.

Found this place when we were driving north of Durango. They make a lot of their stuff in house. They make honey butter, sauces, alcohol and of course honey. What great selection of things. Friendly staff. They have bees flying all around.

Bunch of jams and honey shipped for free. They were packaged so well.

Stopped by Honeyville while in Durango. Nice store. They have samples of almost everything from their honey, jams & wine! Everything we tried were delicious. We ended up getting couple of jams. Our favorite was the caramel honey jam/spread. Sooo good! We were traveling by plane so at first we were concerned that they won't get passed through security (TSA liquid rules). So we inquired about post office but the employee told us that they can ship for us for a fee I think it was $8 or free shipping on orders $75 & up. Let me tell you they packaged it so well and arrived to Dallas so quickly! They shipped through UPS. Bought from the store Monday afternoon. By Wednesday they've arrived and we were still in Durango lol! Great customer service and everything's delicious. Definitely a place to visit while in Durango.

So many tasty goodies, derived from honey! It's hard to leave without a bag of peanut brittle or bare honey caramels!

The other reviewer here has nothing but good things to say about our beloved little co-op...and…read moregives it 3 stars?! I love this place and have been going for years. Now that we have an embarrassment of riches in natural foods---the mega-sized Nature's Oasis (I much preferred the old, small place, but good luck to their local owners in any case!), the new Natural Grocer in NO's old spot (what a gift to them), and even City Market has lots of organic stuff now (though that money goes back to Kroger in Ohio). Four good real food markets in our tiny town! But the co-op is still my favorite, not because I don't want to see NO do well, but because the co-op is truly community owned. That is very rare these days (there are mighty few co-ops left, look around the southwest), and well worth supporting. By and for Durangoites: that's the good stuff right there. The prices are fair, with lots of weekly specials, and I love the folks who work here. These are my kind of Durango folk! The co-op needs all the support it can get, and deserves it as the original Durango health food place. Those other places will do fine, but we need to keep supporting our real little oasis of health food! Compare prices and you'll realize that the co-op is very competitive, and is the only place that keeps our food money right here in town while not striving to become a mall-wart-sized mega-biz. That matters to me and all the other longterm co-op lovers and health food fans, and feels like the Durango I have known and loved for so long. Long may our co-op run!

It's good as a store for convenience but oh my is the price inconvenient! I went to go buy vanilla…read moreextract because it was next door. I arrive and look. It was like 10 dollars! And I went to check out and it ended up being like 15 dollars.
