We had artificial turf installed by Home Turf in 2023 for both our front and back yards, with added padding in part of the backyard. Unfortunately, our experience with them was a bit of a rollercoaster. While we absolutely love the texture of the turf itself, the installation process left much to be desired. They made mistakes with the placement of the turf, resulting in some areas not being level or even. After several back-and-forth communications, we were able to reach a compromise, but it took much longer than we expected to resolve these issues. Additionally, we're still finding black tarp strings sticking out from different areas of the yard, which is frustrating given the cost of the installation. It feels like the finishing touches were rushed or overlooked. In short, while the turf looks great and has a great feel, the installation and final details left something to be desired. I'd recommend them if you're okay with being patient and working through some kinks, but be prepared for some potential frustration along the way. read more

Got quotes from five companies. The only one who actually seemed to care about our yard and how it would look was Home Turf. The others were just trying to lowball and get us to sign on. Cale made some great suggestions about design--he suggested concrete curbing for planters and barriers. LOVE the way it turned out. I also like that he asked about usage before suggesting a turf. Because we have an active kid, he suggested a durable, resilient turf. Other companies just tried to push us to the most expensive kind. Specifically, they had the best price, the quickest time to begin the solar installation, had workers that knew what they were required to do, completed all paperwork to include how to obtain the 30% tax-rebate, scheduled the required inspectors and had them out to our house to inspect and approve the process within days of final work. We had Home Turf replace 2100 square feet of grass with artificial turf in Feb. 2015 as well as redo our landscaping and irrigation system in our front & baclyard.
