I just completed another terrific project with JG Lawns at my Grandma's house. Her yard had been torn up from sewer line repairs and looked horrendous. I contacted Craig at JG, and he came out promptly and we designed a plan for the yard. Grandma happily picked out the turf herself but was a little bit sticker shocked with the estimate price. She's loved my yard since I got it done, and I told her JG uses quality materials and has terrific install. But she still was concerned over the price, so I contacted another quality competitor my friend had used for her yard get another quote. That quote came in over $5000 higher for nearly the same scope of work and same quality turf! Grandma and I happily decided to go with JG. The project included the demo of 3 large planters with huge dead bushes, using the leftover brick to tidy up the front planter boxes, as well as hauling away a lot of dirt and rocks that had been left over from the excavation. I also opted to get the backyard done as well as it needed to be spruced up. JG does things right, they dig 4 inches below, use decomposed granite, and finalize with zeolite to keep the yard fresh from pet waste smells. Jesus was our project lead and my grandma was so impressed with him and his team. At over 90 years old, she seen a lot in her life, but she said that Jesus and his team were the hardest workers that she has ever seen. The project took three days and Jesus came back that Saturday to finalize some brickwork, and he even went above and beyond fixing a broken irrigation line that was not in the scope and was in a completely different planter outside of the project! Everyone on the JG team was courteous and respectful. We are thrilled with the results! It adds a lot of value to the house and we have the best looking lawn on the block. read more

This review is long overdue but well-deserved. I fielded at least 5-6 quotes for artificial turf and Craig was the most responsive and accommodating, making multiple visits to answer my questions and providing samples to help me make the right selection. They ended up installing almost 1400 sqft of artificial turf in Sept 2022 and they did an incredible job. We also asked if they could install over 20 precast concrete pavers and 10 uplights within the turf they gladly obliged. The turf is an absolute showstopper when our guests first step into our backyard. Their first question is always, "Who installed your turf?" The reason it took us a while to select a turf was we knew we would have lots of foot traffic and we would be moving many pieces equipment when we hosted events, such as furniture and bounce houses. Craig told us that the turf we picked would snap back easily even if something was placed on the turf for several days, and he was not wrong. Even with lots of wear over the past year, the turf still looks brand new. Not one section of the 1400 sqft turf looks damaged. We mentioned we had other backyard plans (fire pit paver circle, fence posts, gas line trench), which weren't part of their core business but they were willing to help out with those plans. That really helped simplify the number of contractors we needed for our backyard so we appreciated their help with those plans. Eric and his crew were excellent to work with. My lawn was installed beautifully! But, 1.5 year later a problem occurred with animals and or roots raising the grass up to form a mound. I called the owner Eric Garcia, over a month ago. I recently had my main water line moved on my property. When the company attached the new line to my current irrigation system, they damaged some of the irrigation system's wires. They clearly did not know how to repair it, making things worse by trying to fix it. So I hired JG Lawns Turf to repair the lines and also replace 2 leaking valves. Jose responded quickly with his team. I have a large property and 3 of the 8 stations weren't working. I showed Jose the damages and he went to work to figure out the solution. Within a couple of hours, he located and repaired all if the damaged wires. All 8 stations are now working. He also replaced 2 leaking irrigation valves. When he finished, Jose showed me everything they had done. I was so relieved the system was fixed and up and running again. They were fast and efficient and for a very fair price.
