Edwin talked a good game at first but CONSISTENTLY dropped the ball, and after 2 bi-weekly visits by his crew and another unscheduled to correct what they missed in first 2 visits we still have things we asked for in initial consultation not completed. The crew left obvious in your face weeds standing in all visits, we asked for new plants in 6 different locations and one of them got completed in those 3 visits. At first he responded to text messages immediately, then stopped all together. Great job...we had two large hedges, a huge Bougainville, a hillside with weeds and a massive amount of dead morning glory vines, and a tree right next to the house that needed major trimming (the yard hadn't been touched in almost a year due to a purchase and full remodel). Edwin came out promptly for an estimate, quoted a fair price and was out to do the work 2 days later. He's fully licensed and insured which was important with the big tree trimming job next to the house, and was extremely professional in handling the job as were his crew. The two workers were amazing as well, worked hard for 5 hours straight and were receptive and accommodating when I asked for them to revisit areas that were missed initially. I'll be honest. I had never hired a gardener before. I put out a bunch of quote requests here on Yelp and Edwin responded quickly. I sent over some photos of the yard and he gave a very fair price, was accommodating for what we needed and the date available. He was also very responsive via text. He did show up behind schedule later than the time he told us, but aside from that, he did great and efficient work. He tidied up all the landscaping that we needed and hauled the trash away. Edwin and his team did a really a good job the first time, so we hired for bi-weekly maintenance. We paid for landscaping, but really mostly got mow and blow. We constantly have to call/text multiple times for them to trim roses, adjust water frequency, or fertilizers etc. Very poor communication and not good with any kind of timeline. We got tired of having to ask and being ignored majority of the time. They are very nice and would nod and promise to work on stuff and then not delivered at all. Just before COVID we bought our first home with a large yard specifically for entertaining family and friends.
