I've worked with this company on a couple of improvement projects around my house, and I have to say they're worth calling again. I've recently come to believe that you do indeed get what you pay for. Home Turf didn't bring the cheapest estimate, but they're very competitive. They're busy (which is a good sign), so it might take a week or two to get your project started and completed. However, they show up when they say they will and stay til the job is done. Cale does their estimating and follow-up. He's a stand-up gentlemen and works to ensure the customer is happy with the final product. If you haven't yet, give them a call for a free estimate. What can it hurt? read more

We added turf to 3 areas of our courtyard to add some life to our complex with no maintenance. I got 3 bids from different companies. George brought the most samples to choose from. He also provided the best value and was by far the most friendly. He was great to work with and wasn't pushy. They did an excellent job with the installation and were timely and efficient. The project turned out amazing! I would definitely recommend them for your artificial turf needs. read more

Eric was the first person we met with and he worked with us to come up with a design. The crew arrived on time the first day. We were informed that they would return the next day around noon, because they had another project to go to in the morning. They never showed up the next day (we were not notified that they weren't coming) and they left all their materials in a common area within our development. We reached out and was informed to contact Eric. We called and sent text message with no response. The crew arrived a day late and finished up. We were informed that they would have to return to repair our wall that was damaged and they need to seal our brick work. They did not give a time, but instead told us they need to check with Eric. Again, there wasn't any communication and the materials were not removed. We reached out to Eric again (no response) and the crew appeared the next day to finish. Then were sent our invoice (which we paid immediately). I like the finished product but the professionalism and communication needs work. read more

Wow!!! Cale was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. His quote was the best one, by far. He was professional and stayed in communication with us throughout the entire process. I couldn't believe how fast it all happened. The students will now be able to enjoy their reading garden for this upcoming school year. You all worked so hard and put this together in such a short amount of time. Thank you HomeTurf. read more

This team is exceptional! They installed 3 pavers patios surrounding the artificial turf in my back yard that turned out amazing. The yard is based on curves, not square corners, and they needed to blend in with existing concrete for both color and shape. They designed out the yard with our inputs, and built it out exactly like they described. The detail and craftsmanship was outstanding. The price was 5k less than a competitors bid, and the their offer had more detail and product than the competitors product to boot. read more

Our backyard is transformed! Cale was so courteous and professional. He gave us a fair quote, scheduled installation, sent a crew at the EXACT time he said the would be at our house. The crew worked all day. They installed beautiful turf and cleaned up every inch of my backyard when they were done. What an amazing experience! I was expecting days of people not showing up, a huge mess and mediocre work. We have a masterpiece backyard and I am so grateful. read more

I have only great things to say about this company. We had 4 turf estimates done and were about to give up. But then Cale came out and was a professional easygoing guy. No hard sell. Happy to answer every question we had. Explained the process step by step. He gave us a great price for a quality product. The crew was quiet, neat and tidy, polite, professional and fast. I recently had my small yard landscaped with artificial turf. Little yard = few contractors who are willing to take on the task. After calling a few and hearing the words... we don't take on jobs less than 300 sq ft I was not happy. Then I found Cale, his first reply was "there is no job too small". He told me up front there was a minimum cost per job (regardless of size). After doing a little research I learned his minimum cost (charge) was fair, so I scheduled an appointment for a FREE estimate. From the moment I met Cale I felt comfortable. My daughter, who lived through a large yard, patio and driveway excavation and re-landscaping was there for this first meet. We both felt confident in his knowledge and experience. Overall, it was a great experience. In less than a day I went from a dirt patch with weeds to a nice landscaped yard. The team of workers knew their stuff and even expanded the job a bit to cover a small patch of dirt not originally on my contract. Would I recommend Home Turf, yes indeed. read more

I really enjoyed everything about Home Turf Synthetic grass. The entire process was simple and Easy. Would not recommend for Concrete / Hardscape. According to my contract with them the concrete was suppose to be. 4" thick. I have large areas where it is 2.5" thick. Along some edges along the fence it is less then 1" and cracking off in Pieces. Complete scam. Kris said he would fix it and then told me to Screw off and call the contractors board. That is my next step. They do cut corners to save on cost of goods so more money in their pocket and you get a really bad job. Now I hear he started a Solar company in Santee. STAY AWAY No this idiot has a turf company in Santee. read more

My husband and I used Home Turf through the HERO program. We requested a heating and air system, new windows, pool pump, pool solar and solar for our home. We dealt directly with Kris Grant, the owner of the company. Kris was friendly and professional and made several site visits to assure his contracting crew stayed on task and completed the job on time. After completion of each job Kris check the work of his employees and made sure each job was done properly without any errors. A few months after all the work to our home was completed we had an issue with our heating and air system. I called Kris and he took care of the problem immediately and made sure there was no charge for the issue that needed to be repaired. Kris went out of his way to call us back a few months after all the work was done and made sure we were happy with the jobs. I would recommend Kris for any contracting work and I look forward to getting turf for our front and back yard in the near future. read more

Our home looks better than expected so I would definitely recommend this team as they did such great work. read more

Home Turf just finished installing the artificial grass on 09/24/21. It is absolutely beautiful!! We are so glad we chose Home Turf. We had a total of 5 bids and Home Turf was the least expensive. They give a 5% discount for cash/check payment. The turf we had installed has a 25 yr warranty and they provide a 10 yr. installation defect labor warranty. George Cova is the foreman and we couldn't be happier with his business style. It is all about customer service with George. Not only did they do the installation they also made an entry so we can access our septic tank which is located under ground in the lawn area where the turf was installed. They added "pavers" around the turf and it looks amazing. George made sure everything was hauled away and they even pressure washed the areas where they worked and put their supplies. It was a horribly hot week, over 100, but George's crew never slowed down. A great company, great attitudes, professional and friendly. Don't use anyone else, they are the real deal! Thanks George Cova and thanks to your crew for such an amazing job!!! read more

Just completed a new backyard landscape around my pool, pavers with fire pit, and a dog run. My small yard feels bigger and looks so clean without all the dirt. I'm very pleased with the results. Cale was helpful, quick to respond, and patient with me as I made a few changes mid-install. Willie, the installer was hard working, polite, and meticulous. We were delayed 2 days due to rain and had a party scheduled that weekend. He worked late every day to be sure it was done in time. I recommend this company. The price was also the lowest of the 3 quotes I received. read more

We wanted a mix of synthetic grass, rocks, and drought-friendly plants in our front yard. Reached out to several companies and individuals for quotes. CALE was very professional and followed up with me, and came out in person to inspect the yard. He even provided me a drawing of what our lawn would look like which was very helpful, as well as a copy of their liability insurance (which is something i didn't even think of). He was very knowledgable about the different types of synthetic grass, and in the end, provided quality service. The landscapers were very hard working, kept the area clean, and CALE followed up with me to make sure everything went well. We also exchanged texts and emails with photos of various plants asking for my opinion, which was very nice to keep me engaged in the process. The work only took 3 days, and now we have a beautiful new front lawn (much to the delight of our boys who were quite embarassed by how it used to look). I should mention, they weren't the cheapest, but far from the most expensive. My husband and I felt most secure going with this company, knowing that if you want true quality, you have to be willing to pay a little more. Ultimately, it was worth it! Definitely recommend Home Turf, and especially CALE. read more

I do not recommend this company at all! They talk a good game but they are not worth a darn! My lawn turned out very uneven and there is a section that sinks. When I called to ask for a repair, they said it's not covered under their warranty. This company is unethical. Don't use them. read more

We started with Home turf in 2020.Cale came out and gave us his estimate on job length, cost etc.We informed him of the multiple tree roots .He stated no problem.WELL, then the grap show started..A crew of 5 guys started working the front yard, pulling roots etc..I looked out front,3 of their crew starting working on neighbors lawn.Found out from neighbor, she offered cash under table for job...Moving to 2021,didn't remove all roots and high, low areas..After multiple calls, texts Eric finally called came out..Tried to say it was gophers, hubby got a nail, hit it in ground, said gophers must wear helmets..After 2 more months another crew came to fix the high low places...Moving forward 2022..Eric was called related to leaking water, they were to cap remove old sprinkler system..JOKE...They buried the cover for the irrigation shut off and capped an irrigation line 18 inches out instead of cutting closer to line.Well the buried plastic from the cover pushed on line and leak..Eric was not accepting responsibility, sent out a worker who tried to fix it,said he would call his father in law to come out.I went in house, came out and worker had left.No good by,can't do it RAN RAN...I called Eric..He was informed of situation, said not our responsibility..Eric was horrible.Home turf customer service is bad. WORKERS are not company based, will work for cash under table, have family members not employed by company do work..RUN,use any other company.Deserve a negative zero read more

Excellent service!! Everyone at SD whole sale turf went out of there way to find me the exact size of turf I needed even though it was much smaller than what they normally sell. Regardless every other place told me I had to buy at least 400 square feet but I only needed 100. SD whole turf were the only ones who would accommodate this request. I will definitely come back here when I'm ready to do rest of my yard. read more

Home Turf converted all of my water-hog grass to their turf at two of my houses in Carlsbad. I had looked at a myriad of turf samples and theirs looked the most real. In fact, people walking by sometimes bend over and feel it. They think it is real, I was just at the warehouse picking up large remnants. (15 x 12 size) so that I could add a pop of greenery at my cabin and make a dog zone for a rental. The grass is even better now, aesthetically, and also stays cooler for kids and dogs. I love that their products are made here in the USA. read more

HomeTurf team made getting turf installed seem so easy! Frank came out to give me a quote for my dog's runway and showed me all turf options they had, their business history and an easy quote right there on the spot! I had other turf companies come out to give me an estimate where I didn't get a quote right there, I had to wait later in the day in an email of the numbers, and didn't make it feel personable... It was an easy choice to make to go with Frank and HomeTurf. Willie was the foreman that came out and him and his crew got it done all in a day and they were able to make sure our drain was below turf level and have the grass fit great!! Myself and my dog give 5 stars to this awesome company and would definitely recommend them for any small or large turf installation project! read more

I am a general contractor who works in the Temecula area. One of my best customers, who I love and respect, hired Home Turf to remove grass and install artificial turf. The workers were nice and friendly and seemed to work hard. The final results are sub par. They have had to come back at least 4 times to fix irrigation issues (not capping off old sprinkler heads on a line that was still in use for other parts of the yard). Several being under the new turf they installed. It does not appear that they even double checked the irrigation lines before installing the turf to make sure this wasn't a problem. They "fixed" a leak on a irrigation valve. It was constantly leaking after the fix. I repaired it. In the front yard the customers had new grass sod put in. It is one of the worst jobs I have ever seen. The ground is so un-level and bumpy that it is dangerous to walk on. One of the pop up sprinklers was installed 3 inches above the dirt line. The first time the homeowner mows the lawn, it would certainly break. They came back today to fix it. They had to remove a post and section of fence to get the bobcat to the backyard. When they reinstalled the fence, they put back a rotten post and used no concrete. They had concrete, since they poured all of the curbs for the new grass. The customers had me replace the post and fix their poor reinstall of the fence sections They also hit a post of the balcony with the bobcat at least three times that I witnessed. I happened to be working on the balcony and had to feel the entire thing move and shake with each blow. To be fair, the space was tight between the post and house, but that just means you be extra careful and have a spotter each time. I repaired the post. In the market of synthetic grass installers, there is a lot of competition. I recommend you try another company. read more
