During my wait - I had a lovely chat with the guy behind the front desk, he talked to me about the history of the shop and the experience Troy has. Another patron brought them fudge while they worked on her car and a second patron tipped them for pumping gas - in this economy?! I appreciate their honesty and the fact that they don't call me "sweetheart" when I walk in the door. I appreciate their recommendations like "If you're just driving around town, this will be fine, but if you're traveling out of state, you need this fixed," and "We could fix this now but it won't negatively affect your brakes and it would cost you a lot of money. Otherwise, we could fix it when you get your brakes replaced and you'll save on labor." (Paraphrased, but these are real things they've said that have been helpful.) I go to this store cuz it's close to my work and I can walk there after dropping off my car. I…read morecame in for 3 things: oil change, checking a leak on a tire, and getting tires rotated. When I arrived there to drop off the car, 1 was clerk manning the store who was on the phone. The customer in front of me said he had been waiting a long time and phones were ringing off the hook. When I arrived later to pick up my car, I also had to wait awhile for someone in the shop to come in. Oil change was done but the person in the shop (was a different staff member than the one in the morning) had no idea if anything had been looked at regarding the leak in my tire. My tires also weren't also rotated fully. It was simply the front to back rotation even though I purchased the proper tires for doing an entire rotation. Lastly, emails have been going to the wrong address for my car repairs. The shop has failed to update this after numerous asks. The physical printouts lack information.

My vehicle had to be brought in a total of three times. The guys there felt so bad for me and I just laughed and went and sat down and drank some more coffee that I didn't need. Things happen and there's no reason to get upset about it. None of this was their fault that I needed all this stuff but they were very cordial and it was actually fun. $1300 later isn't that great but that's part of owning a vehicle. I've been going to this Goodyear for seven years and I just think everybody is so nice there and easy to get along with. I was headed up north for a funeral and had a blowout. After waiting 2 hours for roadside…read moreassistance (due to my lug wrench breaking) I needed to get a tire before driving a further 2 hours. After driving around for 2 more hours I ended up at Tires For Less. The only thing I regret is not going there first! There were 6 cars ahead of us but Mo (see pic) pulled the car up outside a bay, took the rim, mounted the new tire and used a floor jack to remove the spare and put the new tire on. Customer service is rare nowadays, but that level of exceptional service is almost unheard of! Mo had us in and out the door in under 15 minutes.
