This location has lost my trust…read more To their credit, they did offer re-diagnostic free of charge after the first expensive misdiagnosis, and when the next attempt to fix my AC failed, they didn't charge me for that either. However, the number of times I kept having to come back to spend 3 to 5 hours at the place in one month is ridiculous. Attitudes were also very unprofessional. I never once received a text or call when my car's work was done; I only found out when I returned and asked them, and they reluctantly told me that the attempt to fix my AC had failed again. The biggest red flag was when at the end of this last visit, I asked the manager Joel for the paperwork of what was done today, and he was reluctant to give it to me. First he claimed that the small paper of hand-written notes was all there was, and let me take a picture of it. Then I noticed it was attached to a computer-printed packet of notes dated today. Joel reluctantly let me take photos of each page, claiming that he couldn't reprint it all for some reason, and that they don't have a scanner available. Joel then tried to convince me to come back in a few weeks, when he'll have a really good mechanic in. This mechanic hasn't worked at the company for three years, but is leaving his current company because it "wasn't for him" and coming back to Tires Plus. I think I'll pass. Now my car is making some small noises that have me paranoid. But no way in h3ll am I going back to this location.

Instead of doing the work I asked for, they convinced me to let them replace all the brakes, even though they themselves had done the other side just seven months ago. The pricing was already higher than expected, but what really pushed it over the edge was the added 3% credit card fee. When I questioned it, I was told it was a fee from the credit card company. That is simply not true. It is a fee they chose to pass on. Be honest about it. Customers can handle the truth. We do not appreciate being misled. On top of that, the attitude was dismissive and disrespectful. If you are going to charge premium prices, at least treat people like they matter. I walked away feeling overcharged, talked down to, and frustrated. There are plenty of auto shops around Richfield. This is not one I would recommend.

During the hour between the appointment being made and the appointment time, they apparently called me but I was busy. According to the very rude employee I spoke to, they have a labor issue. When I asked "what?" because what do you mean my appointment is cancelled because of a labor issue, he rudely swung the bay door open to show that they literally did not have a single employee. He said they *might* have an employee show up Monday through Friday "with tools." So you need to make an appointment through a centralized franchise call center service, but the location has not apparently made the centralized call center aware that THEY DO NOT HAVE EMPLOYEES. Unbelievable. I would have been understanding -- I understand that these things happen -- but the employee was so unbelievably rude that I am disgusted. It looks like most recently this has been an ongoing issue, but with review services showing the glowing reviews first, it feels like a total scam.

A call then came in. Instead of asking the caller to hold a min the guy proceeded to make me stand at the counter for 12 mins while he took the call. Explained I took off of work to handle this. He then proceeded explained how I'd need to wait another week. No sorry or a we'll give you a discount. Ended up walking. The best part, all of the bays were opened. Not a single car there. All of the mechanics were standing around looking at their phones. It's almost comical. I'll never go to another Car X again.
