"We recently used this company to replace a patio door. The actual installation team did a great…read morejob, and the door itself was installed well. However, homeowners need to be highly alert regarding their sales tactics. During the door installation, the worker went up into our attic under the guise of 'checking the rafters'--which has nothing to do with a patio door. They immediately came down with a high-pressure sales pitch, claiming we had rodent infestation and needed our entire blown-in insulation removed, sanitized, and replaced for thousands of dollars. We had never heard or seen a single sign of rodents before. Inexplicably, while the company was doing the work, we had bites taken out of apples on our counter. (We have had apples on our counter for years with no issues. I googled and found that rats are generally the source of this issue). We refused their high-pressure insulation contract, set two traps, caught exactly one rat, and the 'infestation' completely vanished. It strongly appeared that the rodent was brought in to manufacture a panic and force a sale. If you hire them for windows or doors, they do good structural work, but strictly refuse any unsolicited 'free attic inspections.' Do not let them into your attic." Incidentally, we have had no rats since and our apples continue to be on our counter.

From our very first inquiry, Justo has been incredibly responsive and reliable. He's clearly a busy man, but he makes the time and actually shows up. If you've dealt with contractors before, you know how rare that is. He follows through and does exactly what he says he's going to do. He stands confidently behind his work, which immediately gave us peace of mind. I'm very particular. It's simply in my nature. I ask detailed questions, I research everything, and I pay attention to the smallest things. Justo has been nothing but accommodating every step of the way. He answered every question thoroughly, never rushed the process, and never made us feel like we were asking too much. His knowledge and professionalism genuinely stood out, and you can tell he takes pride in delivering quality work. We initially reached out because we had a leak in our garage and needed our roof repaired and had contacted several other companies. What really set Justo apart was the balance. His pricing is fair and reasonable, yet you can clearly see the confidence he has in his craftsmanship. There's no pressure or gimmicks, just honesty and solid work. One quick tip: the phone number listed on Yelp is a Yelp-generated number. If you want to connect quickly, use the "Request Consultation" option on Yelp or visit their website for their direct contact information. Give Justo a chance to earn your business. We genuinely feel lucky to have found him, and we won't be going anywhere else. Thank you Justo and team! :)

I was looking for a contractor to complete projects in my home and I kept hitting brick walls…read more Contractors not showing up for appointments to wanting us to accept "their vision" of what our home should look like. So, my husband took over and found Finnegan Construction. He called William Finnegan in January, he said he was booked until mid summer. But, he would put us on a list and if there was a cancellation, he would come out for an estimate. William was true to his word and called us to book an appointment in March, work began at the end of April and finished mid May. Much shorter than I expected and other contractors had quoted. This is exactly how everything went moving forward. He was punctual, patient, knowledgeable and TRUTHFUL about what could be done and what couldn't. He quickly offered solutions to what couldn't be done and they were great. His staff was no different. Dawn his assistant is a GEM. The crew Foreman Geno, Dustin and Gus listened when I had questions, and solved a couple of issues. They were solution oriented, fast, efficient and best of all finished a day after what was originally quoted. There was not a day, when someone or everyone showed up to get the projects finished. They text me to let me know they were outside early every morning that I hadn't opened the garage and they immediately got to work. They also did their best to cover things so the dust didn't ruin other areas. But that sneaky dust made its way throughout the house. So keep that in mind when construction begins. It's been six months and we still love everything they completed. We had sliding drawers, put in the kitchen cabinets, quartz countertops installed, backsplash, cooktop removed and replaced with a freestanding stove and fixtures replaced on the sinks. In the bathroom, we had the tub removed and extended the shower wall to wall with dual shower heads, a bench and ADA compliant bars installed, window minimized, walls/stucco replaced and the walls painted. Their work is top quality, detailed and was completed in a timely manner. The prices are competitive though not the cheapest bid, but I wouldn't have it any other way because of the quality of the work performed and the professionalism of the team. I waited this long for the review because this being my first remodel. I wanted to be sure the work was holding up. But now, I'm looking around for what else I can have done by them. They made me a believer that top notch, quality construction by a professional team is possible. So, if you need them, don't wait book them. Thank you Finnegan Construction for making the vision of my retirement home come true!

Robert was the first to get back to me and was extremely prompt about getting out to my house to give the project a look. Robert was knowledgeable, professional, and did an amazing job throughout the entire project. I am SO happy with his work!! He is also well connected in the industry and is able to work his connections to get materials when needed. Communication was simple and fast, and the project was done in a super timely manner. Not only did he have to demo the existing mess (and believe me it was a mess), but he had to then rebuild. Quality and affordability was incredible. I was blown away at the end result. If this happened to a family member or friend, would you offer the same excuse? It's disappointing…read moreto hear that you think those cracks are acceptable. I waited 2 years and 4 months to bring to your attention because I knew that you would only offer excuses because that was how you handled the first large crack that I told you about. I also knew that the only remedy would be to completely tear out the new cement, destroying my new backyard, and then pouring concrete again. Another mess to clean up after your crew. These cracks are because Clifford initially placed the footings in the wrong location. He didn't listen to the paying client, and he had to re-position them. Rather than discussing any potential issues that might arise from repositioning them, or properly moving them to prevent this issue, he just moved them. The cracks are a result. I also figured if I have to look at these failures, so should you, and any potential consumer that is shopping for a cement contractor. When these cracks become a tripping hazard, as they quickly are, I will find a professional cement contractor to fix what your company has installed. CONSUMER BEWARE: Upfront friendly, quick response, and competitive pricing...if conflict or issues arise, don't expect resolution, expect excuses. Expect rudeness and unprofessionalism. Once the bill has been paid, you're on your own. This has been my honest experience.
