Good pizza. Pie could have had a little more sauce, but I'm a sauce guy, so it might be just right if you're not. Had it delivered to the RV park. Considering myself abit of a "pizza guy" If the dough is made in-house, good balance of yeast to sugar and salt mix as far as dough taste goes. But the consistency was flat. Amateur attempt of a New York style handtoss. Like, the dough was too cold, when they stretch it or passed it's hold date and died out. Dough is everything. Also, we ordered an 18" cheese. Got a flyer about Hometown Buffett being under new management and that their Lunch Buffett was open again. So the flyer reads Adults: $11.99, Kids (3-10years old): $6.99. My son is 2 years old and the cashier (female), told me that my 2 year old had to pay full price. I explained to her that my 2 year old should be free cause he isn't 3 yet. She was very persistent that I pay for him. I asked her again, why should my 2 year old pay if he's not 3 yet? She just saying he has to pay, up to you. So, I asked if there was a manager I could speak with and she said, he not here today. I asked if there was someone above her that I could speak with about this situation and she got irritated that I asked and she claimed that she didn't understand what I was saying. She then asked another co-worker for help and he was even worse. I explained the situation and he even said, I don't matter what age, your kid pays or he can watch you guys eat. For customer service Ordered and was told 30 minutes. Got there in 30 minutes and waited for another 10. The cashier walked right past me when I told her I was there to pick up my pizza. An older couple who had obviously been waiting a long time also asked when theirs would be ready. I told two more people what I was there for before the cashier finally rang me up. The older couple got their pizza and commented they hoped the pizza was better than the customer service. The fourth person I told I was there to pick up my pizza tried to charge me again. When the hotel quit making pizza I tried it. A two topping (pepperoni and mushroom) pizza to go was ~20.00, including tax. Kind of spendy for five bucks worth of ingredients and electricity. The next pizza cost a dollar or two more. The last one cost more than pizza #2. Always the same toppings and size. I think the food is a-ok, but I haven't had a raise in a while, so I had to find more cost-effective ways to fill my belly. read more

We've had the Miner Special and Chicken Bacon Ranch pizzas and loved both. They are delicious and much better than the chain restaurants that don't exist in Ely any way. I always call ahead and give them the time my husband will be there to pick them up on his way home, and the pizzas are always ready. read more

We have eaten here two times since being in town. The Pizza is quite good. The staff was friendly and attentive. The staff did appear that they could use better hygiene as far as the appearance of a few staff members. It did give me a moment hesitation while noticing long greasy hair and no hair nets being used. They had difficulty splitting our ticket both times we asked for them to do it for us.
