Their women's restrooms are not a complete assault to my idea on housekeeping and there are only three stalls, but with that being said, they are just OK...at best....on a good day. But I feel safe stopping here and using the restroom as a female traveling alone. The guy at the check out counter is usually nice and friendly. It has all the standard gas station foods and drinks one would find anywhere, but as someone who does not eat a lot of crap, I did enjoy the option of prepackaged boiled eggs, cheese and sparkling probiotic drink options in a special case near the check out.

Their seems to be some kind of gas shortage in Nevada and although some of their pumps may be bagged up they typically have more gas available then the gas stations across the road. The bathrooms in this gas station are always clean and you don't need a key to access them. Also, if your not trying to go to the grocery store or Liqour store they do sell Liqour (hard and regular).

We…read morestopped at the first gas station we saw in Ely, because we needed gas, and several of us needed to go to the bathroom. We are used to stopping at all kinds of different convenience markets on our trips, and this one definitely hits a low-water mark. Gassing up was fine, and they have the typical convenience store set of snacks and drinks. However, when one of the girls went into the bathroom, she immediately came back out with a scowl on her face, shaking her head. I think I heard her say "Disgusting". So we all used the mens restroom (which really wasn't disgusting, but rather was only extremely dirty). Since it was a one-hole-er, it took quite a while to get 11 people through, and personally, I wanted to take a shower afterwards. On the plus side, if you are on the road, and if you need/want to purchase massive amounts of alcohol (Ely is on the way to Vegas), this may be a good place to stop. They had cases and cases and cases of all kinds of alcohol stacked up along the walls and stacked in isles all around the store. I've seen full-on Liquor stores with far less stock than what this place has, and Ely is a pretty small town. Makes you wonder... [ Summer squash... ...and some aren't! ]

We were going to stay at a campground…read morecloser to the park, but it filled up last minute, so we actually stayed in our fifth wheel at the back of their large lot for several days, which we asked permission first (although I think most stay a night or two). Lots of space and a few trucks park in the middle. We didn't need hookups, so it was free to stay, but we made sure to buy gas a few times, water/sewer services, and food and drink from inside on many occasions. The employees were really nice and chill. It was a safe place to stay at night and there's amazing mountain scenery too. There's also a grill inside open from 11-5, pretty good! Our dogs got to enjoy the trails. Water and sewer are only $10 total here. All in all, really convenient! Thank you!
