My dad and I came here around 10pm, after traveling 8 hours, and CURTIS was extremely welcoming and took the time to chat for a couple of minutes which helped us wake up and get ready for the 7 hours of driving ahead of us. Ok, so I am normally NOT the type to buy food from a gas station, but I heard that the fried chicken from sagebrush was THE best, so we had to try it. Oh... my... word.... it is delicious. You can even call in and order to pick up. Simply put, it puts places like KFC and Popeyes to shame. Also, the popcorn they sell at the counter is addicting and simply amazing. read more

The gas pumps are slow and clogged. Some of them are out of order. The location is convenient but there is a funky smell in this place. I think it is fried chicken (obviously not good fried chicken). The place is not clean at all. read more

Best fried chicken in Ely! Ruth and her staff are awesome and always have great food options, gas prices along with all your snacks and alcohol needs! I dare say this is the best gas station in Ely! Also they have soft serve icecream and fresh popped popcorn! What's not to love! read more

Best convenient store in town. Never out of anything and they have chicken and gasoline. Iced tea is brewed not concentrate and they have these little burritos that are addicting. The ladies are very nice and fast. Steve in the morning is great, he doesn't talk your ear of when your obviously trying to wake up. I would stop here if your posting through and need to refuel and grab a quick bite. The R Place cartel is not on the same level as Texaco. read more
