Every aisle feels like a new adventure: teapots, cookware, gifts, art pieces... you name it, they've got it, and somehow it's always something you've never seen before. Their sales are great, their finds are endless, and I just learned they have a nutcracker scavenger hunt (tell me that isn't the cutest thing ever!). While looking around for the Golden Egg I was able to see the many varieties of cool things the store had to offer. After some time I ended up finding the last Golden Egg for the day. The store has broad selection of seasonal and year-round wares that are colorful and interesting. All the above said, I have two issues with the place. First, the seasonal products like Talavera and pottery are priced higher than other merchants by 20% and I think that may be due to their location and the amount of inventory--my best advice is to wait for a sale. Second is the lack of a public restroom which I find ridiculous--they advertise on social media so their audience is broad, after a two-hour trip being told you can use a restroom at Trader Joe's is ridiculously inconvenient. Would I recommend The Happy Saguaro? Yes and no, if you're in the area or enroute to other destinations, it's worth a stop. If you're looking for something in particular you have to have, call and it can be worth the drive but realize you may be paying for it.

I decided to check out the store, while waiting for an appointment down the street. I was really surprised they put out fall things and it seemed like a third of the store had been cleared away and recently well stocked with fall colors, pumpkin themed objects for the kitchen and for parties. I don't go they're all that often, but it seemed like there was either Christmas or fall things and anything for the summer was nearly gone. There were 2-3 aisles of picked over summer things on clearance for 66% off and all the fall things that look like they just put it out. It's quite overwhelming every time I go to Hobby Lobby. There is just so much to see. I find myself having a hard time, figuring out where things are and customers line up to check out. I didn't really see any staff walking around the store to help. I did pick up some craft thing items that I think that they carry all the time however, after a few minutes, I just wanted to get out of the store and I skedaddled. Bed Bath & Beyond stores have closed but apparently continue to have an online presence that's going strong and so they've teamed up. Last week I went to the Container Store with my mom, sister and nephew. I was fawning over the pet section of the store and looking at the sale mark down area. I leaned they carry Simplehuman trash cans and replacement bags. I've owned a simple human trashcan for several years and I just love it.
