Went in for Amazon return. The woman at the return counter was so rude and had a lot of comments about the items I was returning. Very invasive questions and seemed very judgmental about why I was returning the item. Also had negative comments about people who buy things on Amazon. I will be driving to a location further away to avoid interactions with her again. read more

Kohl's has great products for large sizes. I found pants and shorts sizes in 46 waist and above. I also found some pants that had leg lengths of 29 and taller with the same waist sizes previously mentioned. Shirt sizes from 3 extra tall long (XLT) and up easily covered my bowl full of jelly belly. A variety of vendors carried these shorts, shirts, and pants so make sure you try them on in the fitting rooms. Not all 3XLTs fit me depending on the maker. In some cases had to go with a 4XLT or a 4XB. The only real issue I had was the way the cashier treated me when I didn't bring my Kohl's Capital One credit card. She was obnoxious and rude. She told me I couldn't get the discount that I would normally receive because I didn't have the card with me. She was able to look up my card number but seemed irritated doing it even though there were no people in line. I looked at the receipt and the cashier didn't give me the discount. I mentioned the lack of discount and the cashier said she couldn't give it to me because she had to look up my card number. I explained to her that I hadn't received my Kohl's card. She looked at me in disbelief. She said Kohl's doesn't give discounts unless you have the card with you when you make a purchase. I almost left the product on the counter but my wife insisted that I purchase it anyway. I should have called the main office at Kohl's but I did speak to a representative with Capital One. She said that what the cashier did was inappropriate and that she was supposed to give me the discount. I'm a little confused but I still like the products. I'll report her next time if I have a similar situation. It's sad that customer service isn't what it used to be at many establishments. read more

Really scary experience I went in for school clothes for my kids. I always shop at this location. Kinda not sure if I even want to anymore. I came to checkout and asked the cashier how his day was going. He started cussing saying he was supposed to be "f-ing" off and that he was going to lose it. He was angry and became increasingly angrier when two of my items didn't have a tag. He was cussing up a storm. A younger employee with purple hair walked by. He asked her for help for the items. She looked at me and said " where did these come from?" She was irritated. I told her clearance section. My only two clearance items. She said " I don't think they were." Like calling me a liar. My husband had to go search for the items that had tags. She was so rude but my experience with him was very scary. He cussed and yelled the whole time about his schedule of 1 day a week, how bad the company is to work for, etc. It was so off putting. He left security tags on my items and I don't even want to come back to have them removed. I spend a good deal of money in that store. Thousands. Today I spent 444.00 and I am nervous about asking for a security tag removal. So weird. Find a different position for Sean maybe? Probably closing my credit card. I try so hard to really like this place but every time I go, I end up leaving with nothing. I'm not sure why. The shoe selection is rarely sufficient, even though there are many to choose from and the clothes don't seem to ever really fit well. It also take me forever to find my size (4) which shouldn't be a difficult feat. However, having said that, they do have stupendous sales, especially if you're on their mailing list and receive their coupons and the store is always very clean and organized and I love their kitchen and home sections. This place is one of the best places to shop. A huge selection, good quality and incredible prices beaten down further by sales and Kohl's Cash. You actually get Kohl's Cash with many purchases that spend just like cash. We spent recently spent $450 for school clothes for our teens. We saved $342 off the regular prices and got $80 Kohl's Cash. Cannot beat deals like that anywhere. read more

I called in and expressed hardship a few days back, and they said they could offer a 15 dollar minimum payment if i call in by the 15th. I never provided authorization to charge my card on file or gave my card info. Yesterday i called and told them im in credit counseling. Not making any payments. Now to today, they charge my card 86 dollars! I NEVER gave authorization for a payment!! Kohls is dirty and they dont work with you! They dont listen to you! If you are ever in my position, every dollar helps pay the house bills and food on the table for two kids. I cant believe how they skipped the basic training of LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER I demanded a refund and they said no! Apparently a supverisor is to call me back today but i know how that goes. I use to work in a call center. Kohls is DIRTY and should be ashamed of their employees for not owning up to their mistakes to someone who really cant afford it!!!!!! Never gave authorization, never agreed to any payments to scheduled, nothing. I was told that i had CALL IN to make the fucking payment. I never called for a payment to be made!!!! I called for express credit counsiling!! FUCK KOHLS and i hope the CEO and President of the company sees this. ill go up the chain and tell everyone how shitty their employees are. read more

Kind of a hit or miss for me. Some days I'll find tons of things that I like, the staff is friendly and willing to lend a hand, and the store is clean. Other times I'll find nothing, the store is a disaster, the staff is unpleasant and not helpful, and I leave not wanting to return. I won't stop shopping here, however, I will start making the management aware of times when my experiences with the staff are less than pleasant. read more

I'll admit, I was never a fan of Kohls. 1) prices tend to be much more than places at the mall and with fashion changing all the time I usually don't spend a lot on a item of clothing unless I can wear it for more than one season/year. 2) I thought it was more of an older lady type of store. Who knew they carry some really nice and affordable brands. And with the sales they have all the time and promotions in the mail, you really don't end up spending a lot. I've picked up a few things here and there but its really not my go to spot to shop. What I do love about Kohls over the other department stores is 1) organize and cleaniness: never have I seen a shirt out of place only by the dressing room where people throw their clothes everywhere. 2) Customer service is excellent: Always friendly, always helpful. You can exchange almost everything you buy. If you cant find something in the store they will look it up for you or they have a kiosk so you can order it online!!!! 3) Very green and tech savvy: I love that their price tag is electronic. They don't have to print out new prices all the time, which saves lots of paper. read more

I love Kohl's, as they have nice clothing and apparel that is moderately priced. The Kohl's cash is nice and keeps you coming back for more. They are also open later than stores at the mall, so that for me is a huge plus. The men's clothing is also nicely organized and clean for the most part. You can find some great deals, but there are things that are not cheap. The biggest let down is the shoe department, which is almost as unorganized as Ross. At least with Ross you get cheap prices, however there are been times where I couldn't find a specific shoe size and not even the employees were helpful. Overall, it's a nice place to visit if you're looking for some nice, affordable clothes. read more

With back to school in full swing, I received a great offer. It arrived in my inbox about noon on Sunday, August the 12th. Well it was for a Sonic tooth brush regular price $79.99. But for that day only..... $11.99. So, I proceed to look for the special, and had"No Luck." So I politely go over to the clerk and ask for her help. Well she has no luck. So, she calls one of the MOD(Managers on Duty) over. She looks at my phone and quickly stated.... "Oh" " that's not our ad." And she tells me, "We don't have that one." As she turns and walks away. The clerk helping me says "thanks" to her and turns and walks away from me. Well.... I am very upset to think Kohl's sends out all these different coupons. 10, 20, 30, 40,50, percent off on this and that and you can use them all. It's very upsetting to thinks this seems 8to be a bait & switch tactic. And..... this is not the first time I have left there mad, and taken advantage of. Kohl's seems to find a loophole with that extra coupon they offer. Well with the coupons I had available to me.I was only able to use one, and it was worth 10 percent. W0W!
