I am interested in Crate & Barrel's Aviator sofa, but there is a problem ... they do not have this sofa, or its matching chair, at any of 4 locations to see it and sit on it. Those locations being Tucson, AZ, Scottsdale, AZ, Dallas, TX-area or Chicago, IL-area. If I order the couch, it would be a custom order and considered a final sale. Who does this? Well, Restoration Hardware and Arhaus, but come on people. These companies expect a consumer to purchase a $3K couch, sight unseen? I certainly would have expected, at least, the chair to be on display at one of their bigger markets. Customer service was nice and empathetic, but there is nothing they can do to help. read more

I always love a store that is clean and organized...which is exactly how I envision my home if I could buy everything in Crate & Barrel. I love to walk through the store and dream about hosting dinner parties and cozy movie nights. This store has just about every kitchen staple that you could need and most of the options are affordable. Nothing is cheap, but I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" when purchasing things from this store. The sturdy basics that I've bought from this store have lasted through the years and look just as good as the day I bought them. My favorite purchase is the white ceramic deep pie dish. If anything, it's a nicely air conditioned option to browse and kill time. read more

Let me preface this by saying I am against playing victim or crying racism. I am a Latina woman married to a white gentleman and have bi-racial children. That being said. I have visited Crate and Barrel at La Encantada on several occasions and every single time, I have been treated rudely. Not once have I been greeted when entering the store. And, I have witnessed the store clerks happily greeting other customers as they walk in. I thought I would just let it go, but today when I went in, I was again looked at, and ignored but immediately after, a Caucasian couple walked in and two store clerks enthusiastically greeted them. I said "hello" to the clerks hoping they could help me and they looked at me for a second and then turned away and started talking to each other as if I wasn't there. This is UNACCEPTABLE! I felt horrible. I am a small business owner and would NEVER treat a potential customer this way. As I previously stated above, this has happened more than once. Needless to say, I will NOT be going back to deal with these snobby women. Managers, you need to teach your employees to DO BETTER!! read more

I seriously love Crate & Barrel! I love coming here and browsing the store for things that I want to buy. I love their colors, and their contemporary, yet minimalistic style. I love their tables, their patio furniture, their dramatic displays, their patterned bed spreads, and I love everything about the way they somehow seamlessly put home items together in a way that just, well... FLOWS! I've bought a lot of glasses here, and some serving bowls and pans too. They are in my opinion a good value, and all their items hold up well. I wish I could say I've bought a lot of furniture here, but I haven't- YET... I want to, and I probably will within the next six months when we are ready to get a new sofa at our house. I'm pretty sure that this is the place we'll end up getting it. The location at La Encantada is quite high profile, and in my opinion, they are the flagship store. I have made several online orders and selected store pickup at this location. They had my items ahead of schedule most times and the staff are always speedy and helpful. On one occasion they couldn't locate a small item that I ordered, but the store manager contacted me quickly and ensured they had my address correct so they could mail the item at once - Overall, great customer service! When thinking about big name home goods/furnishing stores I think of Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel and Williams Sonoma. I've shopped at all three and have come to the conclusion that Crate and Barrel is just right for me. My style is more contemporary and minimalist, which is why I'm drawn to this store in general. But putting that aside, it seems like almost everything here is priced just right! When it comes to tableware and flatware needs this is my first stop. And of course, their seasonal decor is fabulous. I come here more during the holidays to stock up on their awesome Christmas Tree ornaments! Between the rows of dishware, home decor items and kitchen gadgets we can always find what we are looking for at Crate and Barrel. She loves their seasonal items and can't leave the store without finding something to spruce up our house. I like their selection of kitchen gadgets and glassware. Having returned to town from a funeral, I did not have much time to purchase a shower gift, so I ordered online and chose to pick up in the store. In my order there was a gift option offered. I figured I would pick the gift up on my way to the shower. When I arrived at the store, the item was in a plain white box with lettering. That's it No bag, no wrap. Just a handle. I asked if I could have it placed in something a bit nicer since I needed to go straight to the shower. Nope. The clerk told me to go to the card shop upstairs and buy some wrap and wrap it myself. I'm a frequent shopper at Crate and Barrel and I have to say that I have no intentions of changing that! This particular store has a great staff. When I bought my dishes and glassware here, the woman at the checkout was nice and packaged everything very carefully. I also bought some upholstery fabric here and the man who helped me was great. I was able to take several samples home (for free) to see what I really liked. When I decided and ordered, he called and kept me posted on the status. (Also, the fabric is made in the USA, mine shipped from my home state of NC!) It's a great store, they have everything I could need plus the service to help me find just the right thing. read more

Having moved into a 4 bedroom house from a studio apartment, my husband and I were in search of a living room set. In Tucson, there aren't many nice furniture stores and we definitely weren't going to buy our couch from a certain store with a man's name. Our sales person at Crate and Barrel (Christina) was very respectful and helpful. She gave us information regarding the couch set we wanted to buy and we ended up purchasing the set which was on a Black Friday deal. A few days later, I noticed that I had found a 20% off coupon that I had forgotten about. With no questions asked, we were refunded the 20% by phone. I was so happy with the customer service provided by C&B. The C&B delivery team wore booties and were very respectful of our home. They were super efficient and I received a call from C&B afterwards, asking us how satisfied we were. I will definitely return for future purchases and recommend them to others. read more

The people who work in this store have exceptional customer service skills. My husband and I were looking for outdoor furniture and spent a good bit of time with Kristina who was extremely helpful and a joy to work with. She is knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly and diligent. One day, I visited the store on her day off and was helped by Mary who was also quite friendly and helpful. Today we visited the store on another matter and Lindsey was great as well. We needed the assistance of a manager for some price adjustment due to sale pricing, etc and worked with Henry on this. He was absolutely WONDERFUL. So helpful and professional. I will continue to purchase many more things at this Crate & Barrel store-- the only one in Tucson but far and away one of the friendlies stores nationwide. Great job, guys! read more

I ordered a Le Creuset Dutch oven from C&B.com but it ended up shipping from the Tucson store. I've ordered multiple le creuset pieces from Crate & Barrel before and they have always arrived in a Le Creuset box nearly packed inside a C&B box. This order came with out the original Le Creuset box and with a different knob than shown online. It was obviously a return. When spending $350+ I expect better. The sales associate I was connected with said she didn't believe it to be a return but something is obviously very different with this order than my past Le Creuset orders. I have been traveling from Sierra Vista to this Crate and Barrel for a few years and the prices are equal to what you get. Everything is well built and the service is amazing. Mary F has completely taken care of us. From the mundane (defective item) to the exotic (need 5 feet of matching thread to repair a rip; lost 3 plastic thingies - amazingly she knew what this was), Mary has fulfilled all of my crazy requests with good humor and perfect results. I can't believe that I haven't reviewed Crate & Barrel! I love housewares so this is one of my favorite stores. All of our tableware, bar glasses and many of our kitchen gadgets are purchased here. As Isabella wrote, the Christmas ornaments are fantastic. Each year we buy a special ornament for the tree which symbolizes something special from that year. We can always find the perfect ornament at Crate & Barrel. The clerks are always very helpful and friendly which is a definite plus. As stated, one of my all time favorite places to shop. BTW, our ornament this year was a martini glass to symbolize my becoming an Elite! read more

Definitely a cute store to check out for home decor! However, home goods on oracle or the one on Broadway/kolb usually has the same products and home goods has them for way less. They don't have the same furniture selection but as for stuff for the kitchen, it's way cheaper at home goods. read more

Overall I like this store. They have all kinds of great things for the home, kitchen, etc. I really like it and enjoy browsing. Customer service was great. People kept asking if we needed any help. It was nice. But at the same time it was almost too much-- I've never had people want to help me so much! :-D The biggest reason for the lower rating is the cost. Everything is overpriced and way too expensive. It's why I rarely shop here. You really have to hunt for items that are priced well. Overall the cost for the items is just not worth it to me. But if you don't mind over spending and paying too much for overpriced items, this place will be fine for you. read more

I Create and Barrel. They have lots of home goods. My wife got me one of their tables a few years ago and we love it. It has held up great. Like Williams & Sonoma, they have lots of kitchen gadgets and appliances, but slightly cheaper. Love browsing through the Crate & Barrel store. I purchased a floor lamp which was not available in store but was ordered for in store pickup. It's been over a week and the lamp has not arrived. Called the store to get delivery status, spoke to the store manager and was shocked to hear the tone from the store manager. She was rude and unhelpful. This is not what I expect from a high end store manager. If they offered to order an item for you, it would be easier if you went online to order the item yourself and delivery would be much faster. read more
