The older female employee in the floor in seasonals gave my wife the once over and said, out loud, "That's disgraceful. That's disgraceful". Who talks to customers like that? I suggest new training for people who clearly aren't cut out for customer service. Yelp review #1234! Double masked and taking a break from working from home, I decided to check out the grand opening today (2/25/21) for HomeGoods at 130th and Aurora. It is located between PetSmart and Sprouts. Received a giant shopping bag upon entry, thanks! Never been inside a HomeGoods, brand new so very tidy and orderly. Places like Bed, Bath, and Beyond or Marshall's can be a bit messy in contrast. It has a a little bit of this and that of various home stuff and things. Perfect to refresh or fully outfit your home without breaking the bank. I was debating between a soft spring throw or a sauce pan, the latter wins! I zoomed past the vast kitchen gadgets and utensils and anything bunny related, resist impulse weaknesses. But roamed each aisle and got some note to self decorating ideas. My style seems to be post dormitory with a wee bit of orderly hoarder, lol. Prices were reasonable and a terrific variety. Check it out you're in the North Seattle. HomeGoods is located conveniently west of the I-5 N 130th exit or Hwy 99/Aurora whether by car or bus. read more

I saw this worker acting strange found out he was an employee name ajaib. He was staring at a coworker in a apron. I wasn't alarmed until I heard him making fun of another coworker. I believe it's cause of asthma. He would just stare at people. I checked In on the co worker. She seemed upset but okay. Very sweet given the circumstances. She was very helpful and nice. Everyone remembers the first time they went into a HomeGoods. It's one of mixed emotions as you sort through all the goodies, often times frustrated by the fact the only have 1 of something when you need 2 and hoping that the person in front of you doesn't take the last lamp that you have been eyeing 3 rows down. Either way, if you're looking for a decent buy for a space in your home that you're not quite sure yet what to fill it with, HomeGoods is your store. Here in North Seattle, this is your location and is conveniently located next to a grocery store and other places where you'll likely be running other errands. So for those who have not yet been to a HomeGoods, well, it's a like a Ross for home goods. From kitchen supplies, little knick knacks, rugs, furniture, fake plants, and even candy, you'll find it all. It's a hodge podge of different things and each time you go in you'll have a completely different experiences. Just because you didn't find what you're looking for on Tuesday, doesn't mean you won't come out with a basket full of stuff two weeks down the road. This place can be busy on the weekends so I advise trying during the week then you're not climbing over each over for that fluffy purple bathroom rug 20 people are after. I absolutely love this place!! They have so much to look at!! I always find great deals and beautiful items at this store. On my last trip I bought a lamp, kitchen towels, and pumpkin decorations for my living room. I have taken two different friends there this past week as they had never been there and they were also very impressed with the store and all the goods that they carry. This is one of the nicer HomeGoods stores I've been to, and having one in this area has been long awaited! They have an amazing pet toys selection and from time to time you'll see other cool things like puppy gates too! I adopted a puppy around the time that they had their Grand Opening here and so I was frequenting this place every week. They are always restocking with new things, so the store hasn't gotten old for me yet. They also have a really great vase and planter selection - I was looking for LARGE clear vases and while I couldn't find one at any of the other TJ Maxx or Marshall's locations nearby, this location really delivered. Lines move super quick as this location is also well-staffed. Highly recommend! read more

I guess middle class Americans aren't allowed to use the restroom at Home Goods. Understandably they don't give out code but open door for you. So there's 3 people in the store. Some lady, my wife, and me. My wife is going to buy larger carpet and some matching accessories of course. I have to use the restroom. I ask lady at register and she says she has to ask manager, but she's busy and it may take awhile. OK, I can't wait a bit longer plus my wife is still shopping so could be a bit longer. A few minutes later manager shows up and says they don't let people use bathroom after 4 PM and you have to go to neighboring business. My wife now gets involved and says well we are shopping here, spending money here, why can't he use bathroom? "It's policy," says manager. Needless to say we left immediately, didn't buy anything, and now I'm writing this review. Pretty sad that spending hundreds of dollars doesn't allow you to use a restroom for 1-2 minutes. read more

If you're in a diet pinch, they have an aisle of keto stuff at reasonable prices! I can't believe they had monkfruit sugar substitute and keto cookies etc. Yes it's random but no other store around here focus on keto/low carb/gluten free products. I also like there are clearance sections sprinkled throughout the store...like a treasure hunt. Staff was friendly and the store is brand spanking new and clean. read more

Crazy Rude Staff! My wife has been shopping in here for about an hour. She has about $400-$500 worth of stuff she is going to buy and still not done. I ask to use the bathroom as they don't give out code and employee has to open bathroom for you. Employee tells me she has to ask manager if she can open bathroom. I wait for a few minutes as manager is busy doing something in The back. She comes out and I ask if she can open up the bathroom (mind you I am dressed up for Seattle standards). She says "It's our policy to not open bathrooms after 4 PM." WTF?!??!!! I tell her I'll be quick, she tells me to go to Sprouts next door as she is not opening it for me. My wife hears this and is pissed. She leaves all her stuff and we leave. Really don't understand this policy. I hope this manager gets reprimanded. Horrible customer service. read more

I want to give a shout out to this Home Goods store. I love the TJMaxx family of stores in general and shop at them frequently. My daughter dances at a studio near this store (90 minutes from home) which gives me a couple of hours to kill a couple times a week and I have gone into this store several times over the past year. I decided the other day when I was there that I was going to Yelp them because it is always such a GREAT experience. Everyone who works there is very friendly and warm. I genuine feel welcome there and feel like they appreciate the business. This particular store is one of my very favorite places to shop, if not the favorite. Add awesome stuff to browse through and buy to the warm, inviting shopping experience and you have a real winning combination. I highly recommend this store. Kudos to the management for having such a great team of associates. You must be doing a lot of things right! read more
