This place is a mess in regards to COVID-19 protocols. Many people in the store where you can barely walk or turn down an aisle without bumping into someone. Nobody following one-way directionals on the floor, INCLUDING the staff and laughing about how nobody follows the sign when customers bring it up. This place has a lot of potential and a massive space, but to say I'm incredibly disappointed in the way they are handling COVID safety is an understatement. My review will change when I notice a change in the staff's demeanor and the seriousness of the pandemic. read more

Nice store and most of the employees are very nice and helpful. There are a few, like the one sending each person from the line to a cashier, that once you advance, she yells to "get back" and then says go to Cashier #?. That creep needs to be fired. There also is a few cashiers that just leave your purchase on the counter until you say, Can I have a bag for it please? WHY would they assume you don't want a bag for your multiple purchases? Very strange to me or they are just lazy. read more

While at first hearing about HomeGoods and TJ Maxx making a move from the Quarry Square plaza to the new Milford Crossing, I was happy to see a new store for both HomeGoods and TJ Maxx. At the same time, I was also extremely disappointed to see the other store (on Rt 16) close. While this new HomeGoods is great, and has been great effort into making look just as gorgeous as the other, it's smaller and doesn't have the over-the-top selection like the old HomeGoods did. The previous Milford HomeGoods was better than any of the other HomeGoods locations... it was three times the size and had more than necessary selection which equated into the biggest savings, most gem hunting, and most importantly most gem FINDINGS! This new location was much smaller with less space to move around (and while I'm a fan of using space well, I don't like any place where I feel like if I make one wrong move I could knock over a lamp or something!), and much less selection. I still did like the inventory and the service. Two of the associates came up to me and asked me if I needed help, and since I didn't know where anything was, I definitely needed help! I was able to find just what I was looking for, and of course, knowing HomeGoods, more! I always am able to find all sorts of cool stuff here. Checkout was fast and friendly, and even with it being new, they still had TJ Maxx separate with walls in between, which I really like. While there is only one checkout area, they seem to have more than enough registers for the amount of foot traffic to keep things moving along quickly.... which is greatly appreciated, especially in comparison to the Plainville location which is always extremely overcrowded, has even less space to move around, and doesn't even have TJ Maxx and HomeGoods separated! While I wasn't happy to see the other store close, I am looking forward to making this store a regular stop on my treks to Milford.... HomeGoods in general is a good store for gifts, gadgets and anything for the house, and with the constant great prices, you just cannot go wrong. 4 stars. read more

On Feb. 6th I went to Home Goods and purchased a wreath for my home. I gave the cashier $20,00 and separate change. I was waiting for my change which should have been $8.00. I was with my daughter and we were conversing. I was handed what I thought was change but it was only the receipt. The cashier just left my purchase on the counter without a bag or even an offer of a bag. I proceeded to leave. I should have paid more attention, YES I messed up but so did the cashier and it was her responsibility to give the customer the proper change. I blame myself for being so trusting, thinking that she had handed me my change. I just tucked what she gave me into my pocket but I thought I had my money there. When I went to another store and wanted to use my change, it wasn't there. Only the receipt remained. I will be more vigilant in the future but when I want to go shopping there, I am going to remember what happened . I don't know if I will shop here again because I just felt "burned." read more

I've shopped twice at the new HomeGoods/TJ Maxx on Medway Rd in Milford...and am terribly disappointed. First time was during the holidays and it was so crowded, with a long check out line & no carts available. Went back today hoping for a better experience. I was able to snag a cart! However, find the set up chaotic and selection much smaller. Feels claustrophobic. I felt like I was in everyone's way. Only one small section of shoes (really?!). The wall art section is a quarter of what it was at its former location. I miss the old store (on Rte 16). read more

AWFUL customer service and RUDE employees. I've given this new location SO many chances and I'm done. Despite the "nicer " location in the remodeled Plaza, the store itself is smaller, cluttered, messy and the lines are ridiculous. Staff standing around etc. Today was the FOURTH time I've had to walk through clouds of disgusting cigarette smoke to get into the store. I had to tell my toddlers to hold their breath. VILE! I have asthma and so does one of my little ones. We both needed our inhalers after entering the store. I'm not the cigarette police but PLEASE.... go away with that it's not fair to those that care about their health. FED UP. Will take our family's business elsewhere . Terrible customer service. I was trying to make a return for an item that was damaged. I was told I couldn't return the item because they couldn't re-sell it and the cashier accused me of damaging the item. This item was purchased a few days prior and had only been taken out of the bag to see it was damaged. The cashier proceeded to question why I wouldn't have inspected the pillow closer before I purchased it. There were two small holes in the seam of the pillow. The cashier went back to talk to the manager again and decided to accept the return. The cashier couldn't stop there. She proceeded to look over each additional item I was going to purchase as an exchange stating "let me make sure these aren't damaged". Then when she saw I was buying a dog toy she made a passive aggressive statement suggesting my dog caused the damage. I have never felt so humiliated. I love HomeGoods and TJMaxx but the customer service at this location is the worst I have ever come across. read more

I hate hate hate the new location for Homegoods/TJMax. Both stores are a 1/4 of the size they used to be. It's very tight, you can't get more than one carriage down the isle at a time. You have to move out of the way into another isle in order for someone else to go by. Items are crammed into every possible spot which makes looking at things difficult. I'm always afraid I may knock something over b/c the isles are so small and cramped. They have a very little selection on all departments, I would say again probably about 1/4 of what they used to have if not less. No selection on towels, bedding, scatter rugs, kitchen items, pictures, basically everything. I loved the old Homegoods location, it was great and I always found what I was looking for. Here I have gone 6 times now hoping to score but have walked out with nothing. Seems the inventory doesn't change either. Just so disappointed in this new location. And the parking is horrible. Tjmax, the same, 1/4 of what they used to have, no selection of shoes, boots, etc. The women's and juniors dept. are so small. Stop and Shop takes up the majority of this building. I would not recommend going here, you will wind up disappointed and frustrated. read more
