We visited this store for the first time today and were very dissatisfied with the unprofessional behavior of one of the sales associates named Liz. We did end up making a purchase but wished we had asked to deal with another associate. Liz was very rude and short with us. She had a terrible attitude. She seemed annoyed while she was processing our order and argued with us regarding a delivery fee that was quoted to us by another associate whom we first spoke with. We will definitely do business with one of the other associates there if we go back! The other associate whom we were first speaking with is Adam. Adam was friendly, helpful and professional. He is a great asset to your store and is a role model for how associates should treat their customers! The young woman who took our payment was also very kind and professional. We bought a sectional sofa in January 2026 at the Westborough Ashley Furniture store and paid for it to be delivered into our home. The delivery service was horrible. The two men were unprofessional. They did not wrap or protect the furniture inside the truck or outside. One of the pieces was dropped in the truck when they were putting in on the lift. After they brought the 3 pieces into the house they left the cushions in a pile on the floor and did not assemble the sectional. When we put the sectional together we discovered a 4 inch tear on the sofa material and immediately called the store. The delivery people denied tearing the material and the store said that since the Westborough Ashley store uses a third party delivery service there is nothing the store could do to help us. You cannot reach anyone at the national level because these stores are franchises. You cannot get help at the Westborough store owner because they will not take responsibility for a hiring a cheap, unprofessional delivery company. And the delivery people are not kept accountable. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE AT THE WESTBOROUGH ASHLEY STORE. read more

I have using Ashley furniture for years. I lived in different parts of the US that has Ashley furniture. I was excited to see a store open here in Massachusetts. They have great quality, great selection and great price. Why not buy from the original instead of another store selling Ashley products. They even have stores in Mexico!! Disappointing Experience - Poor Communication and Service Our experience with Ashley has been quite frustrating. Two months ago, we ordered a bedroom set for my son. While it was delivered in about three weeks, the delivery team was unaware that assembly was required--they didn't even seem to know what the full order included. To make things worse, the salesperson had advised us that a bed box wasn't necessary, which turned out to be completely incorrect. When I returned to the store to address the issue, the same salesperson continued to insist that the box wasn't needed, which was frustrating and unprofessional. Eventually, we had to place a separate order for the bed box, and now the timeline has been pushed from two weeks to three--and possibly longer. As of today, we're still waiting. This entire process has been marked by poor communication, lack of product knowledge, and inadequate customer service. My husband and I stopped in one night to look at a bedroom set and a chair for our living room. While the sales person Mark introduced himself, there was no high pressure from him to purchase anything. We appreciated the opportunity to just walk around the store and our style, price concerns and date of delivery were all factors that were considered by the staff. We couldn't be happier with the set we choose. On June 14th, I purchased a dresser, mirror, and a chest of drawers (3 pieces) from Ashley Furniture in Westboro, MA. HUGE MISTAKE!! They have been to my house 6 times for the same issue. 1) On Tuesday, June 25th, the delivery truck arrived on schedule. I was at work, but my daughter was home to accept the delivery. When she looked at the items, she saw multiple dents and chipped paint on the dresser, so she declined it. The chest of drawers had a small dent and a crack of paint on the left top side. They told her the service guy could fix it, so she accepted it. They never opened the mirror because they weren't leaving the dresser. When I got home, I looked over the chest of drawers and noticed additional damage on the bottom right. I called the store to let them know that this piece would need to be replaced, and they scheduled a delivery of a new set for July 13th. 2) On Saturday, July 13th the delivery truck came WITHOUT furniture. They told me they were there to pick up the dresser. Wait, what? I never accepted the dresser! I was very confused and called the store; they apologized for the miscommunication and scheduled another delivery to swap the chest and deliver a new dresser and mirror. 3) On Saturday, July 20th, the delivery truck came again. I viewed the items outside first. The particle board on the back of the chest was wavy but the front looked fine. And, since no one will see the back, I accepted the chest however the dresser had multiple chips of paint on the front and the back was so wavy I didn't think it would fit against the wall, so I declined the dresser and called the store again. 4) On Saturday, July 27th, the delivery guys showed up but didn't have any furniture with them AGAIN!! They said they were here to pick up the chest of drawers. I told them I kept chest; they were supposed to be delivering a replacement dresser and mirror. They said, "we don't deliver; we just pick up". I called the store again. 5) On Saturday, August 3rd, the delivery company brought a dresser - yay! They finally had a piece of furniture that was in good shape. They carried it upstairs and when they got to the top, I heard a crash. I asked if everything was okay. They said everything was fine, and they brought the dresser into my room. Then they attached the feet of the dresser using a drill (which you don't need). They overtightened the screw which cracked the board across the bottom and cracked the side panel. Of course, they didn't tell me. Additionally, they didn't have the rails to attach the mirror. They called their boss about the missing rails, and then told me I would need to call the store. When the delivery guys left, I looked over the dresser and that's when I noticed the cracks and the picture on the wall was crooked. As I looked closer, I saw the corners were broken. That explains the crash I heard. I called the store again. 6) On Saturday, August 10th, another delivery team came with a new dresser. They carried the damaged dresser down from my room. I said I want to see this one before you bring it in. It looked like the dresser I had sent back on July 20th. It had at least 6 chips of paint on the front and the back panel was wavy. I told them to leave it in the truck, I wasn't accepting it. They brought the other dresser back in my house and attached the mirror even through I told them I don't want it back in my house. I asked them to take it, but they said we don't take furniture we only deliver it and they left. I called Ashley Furniture and told them they can pick up all three pieces. I was told they would get back to me with a date. I called again on Monday, 8/12, on Tuesday, 8/13, and on Wednesday, 8/14. They just keep saying, "someone will get back to you!" Ashley Furniture is the WORST place to do business with. The communication between the store, the warehouse and the delivery company IS NON-EXISTENT!! They don't have a clue what quality control or customer service means! They also don't have a number to call if you need to escalate your concern. Wrong mattress was delivered and ordered by Ashley versus the one I picked out. They do not even have in stock the one I wanted to order. Delivered an older outdated model from another product line. Ashley giving me hard time about refunding and pickup of wrong mattress. "General Manager" trying to scam me on price. Will file with Better Business Bureau. The in store staff was helpful and friendly however, after placing an order on Sunday January 19, 2025 I was told I would recieve a call the following day to schedule delivery of the bed frame I had ordered. I waited until January 27th with no word and decided to call and check on my order. I was told the items are "expected" around FEBRUARY 25th. Over a month away with no clear answer on when my items would arrive yet, they took the money out of my account before I had even left the store. I understand that furniture takes time to ship however I do not appreciate handing over a large sum of money and not even knowing if or when my items will arrive. This is extremely unprofessional. I have done business with Jordan's furniture in the past and had a delivery date before leaving the store. I would recommend them over Ashley if you are looking for a trustworthy business. read more

The couches they sell don't fit in any home!! Don't waste your time. They only care about taking your money and making you wait over a month to get a couch and at the end you are going to end up with no couch and have to wait 5 more business days to get a refund. Simply put... do not waste your time. My wife and I wasted over a month and a half just to end up with no couch, a headache and a horrible experience. Long story short- Bought a couch, was told it would be delivered in a month due to shortage of materials. Couch was set to be delivered. Her father took the day off to receive the couch. The movers made little to no effort to get the couch inside our house which has 3 points of entry, one of which is well over the standard door size. I was able to watch their "effort" on the ring doorbell camera... it was more like watching two guys stand there and talk about how it won't fit. Ultimately they told her father (who again...had to take time off of work to receive the couch) that the couch will not fit through the doors and that they are in a rush to get to the next delivery. They also mentioned that the couch would fit through the window, they suggested he take the window panes off of the frame to see if it would indeed fit. After taking the time to remove the window sliders, he was then told they can't, per company policy, move the couch through the window. Another huge waste of time. The couch was ultimately returned "put on hold" to be rescheduled for a delivery date later on... After chasing down the manager Karen to return a phone call, we come to find out that OUR couch that was bought and paid for IN FULL... NEARLY 2,000 dollars.... Was sold to another customer and we would have to wait for another one to be built...and then delivered.... So basically wait for another month. We were told multiple times on multiple days we would be getting a call back from the manager Karen. We did not. We ended up having to drive to the store to be able to speak to her. Once she was confronted she made several excuses for not calling back. We demanded our money be returned which will be another 5 business days, and to talk to the district manager who coincidentally called Karen while we were getting our money returned. I asked to speak with him. She told me he will call me on my cell phone. His name is- Jeffrey Fleischer. He has not called Nor will he call because of their lack of communication and professionalism. The employee giving us our refund could not rush us out fast enough. Neither the manager or other employee cared to retain a customer, make the situation right, or even admit to an obvious fault. This is the SHORT VERSION of our struggles for simply trying to buy a couch from this store. Seriously consider other options before you attempt to do business with this group of clowns. read more
