While we did explore searching for samples at several locations, the final decision was made to purchase from Ballston Carpet and Tile because we had narrowed down our possible choices to three - all of which were sold by BC&T. We were very pleased with Craig who assisted my wife in understanding the differences in the fabrics, their wearability, the anticipated delivery times, and who tolerated our slow decision making and the amount of time we held samples at home trying to make a final decision. Craig also kept us apprised of the manufacture's production schedule. The fellow who came to the house to determine the measurements was not only friendly, but also very knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge regarding proper installation methods and wear. With his input we were able to arrange to include two scatter rugs from the same bolt of carpet to be ordered. Finally, the installer, Justin, was friendly, and did a very professional job of removing the old carpeting and installing the new carpeting. We are very happy that we chose Ballston Carpet and Tile to do this project and have no reservations with recommending them to others.

The…read moreservice rep is now trying to gas light me because I had to reach out to the Better Business Bureau to get Carpet One to engage with following up on two flooring inspections. The bottom line is there is a blue huge in the flooring edging that was not on the flooring sample (from which I made my decision). It is insulting to read that it is considered a cosmetic. The third and last rep to inspect my floor is suppose to be an independent report to the manufacturer. I can not recommend purchasing anything from this location, nor their Troy location as they are under the same ownership.

After 5 weeks of broken promises with this other company, I got my deposit back and went to Kitchen Express Plus. The owner told me she could have us installed within 2 weeks. I was very happy with this information. Then I got a phone call that they could install earlier if I was ready, and I was. My countertops were installed in less than a week! They are beautiful and I highly recommend this company. They are a family owned business. They do their own measurements and installs. Their warehouse is also local. The other company that I went to first, subcontracted their installers, and their fabricators and warehouse is in New Jersey! Other companies wont compare to the professionalism, price, work ethic, honesty and timeliness of Kitchen Express Plus.

The first is simple and contemporary, the second involved an intricate pattern of colorful tiles forming wall-size images. Sara worked with us on the design, asking many questions to understand our aesthetic aims and practical needs, and offering a variety of options for us to choose among to achieve our goals. She also provided a variety of very effective ideas and solutions, considering the physical constraints of the (relatively small) spaces, to ensure the best use of spaces and to create a very open feel in both bathrooms, all in a cost-effective manner. The actual construction was done in an extremely professional manner by workers who were not only highly-skilled but also friendly, considerate of our needs, and responsive to our questions and concerns as the projects progressed. Particularly impressive, amazing really, was the tile work performed by Cliff. The colorful bathroom involved laying more than 1,000 tiles, and cutting more than 100 tiles to create the intricate design. It also involved the fitting of the many tiles to very close tolerance specifications. Cliff was both masterful and highly conscientious in completing this tile work. The result is stunning. In addition, along the way in both bathrooms, specific questions arose about alternative approaches to implementing features of the design. Cliff identified and raised these questions for us to think about, and he offered aesthetically pleasing solutions. In short, Cliff's work was thoughtful, technically masterful, and informed by his strong sense of aesthetic beauty. We are most impressed by Kitchen and Bath World for their general approach, their implementation, and the final product in renovating both bathrooms. Kitchen and Bath World has our highest recommendation.

My contractor says he's been working with them for years and they were always great. They took the money and never delivered quartz countertops. Tried to reach them for months before we finally gave up. Today is March 25, 2022 ... with any luck I'll have countertops in two weeks. After stringing us along for MONTHS, It looks like Kitchen Stone Design is out of business.

Most people know me by sight and name and I have my own wonderful dedicated sales person who takes such good care of me! Teressa is fun, kind, friendly, helpful, efficient and knowledgeable! I especially LOVE all the choices that they have in their huge store! Their selections change regularly as they bring in new materials and eye candy for me to use on projects. Also this should be noted, they have tile made from all over the world, many of the vendors are from Europe. Most other places locally only carry materials from China, which as you may imagine are just not on the same quality level. If I had one criticism it would be this, they hard working ladies are assigned to professional accounts like mine. They are not as successful helping individual people walking in off the street who have no idea what is happening. Plus with the thousands of choices and millions of combinations available in here, it can feel very daunting and overwhelming for people.
