While we did explore searching for samples at several locations, the final decision was made to purchase from Ballston Carpet and Tile because we had narrowed down our possible choices to three - all of which were sold by BC&T. We were very pleased with Craig who assisted my wife in understanding the differences in the fabrics, their wearability, the anticipated delivery times, and who tolerated our slow decision making and the amount of time we held samples at home trying to make a final decision. Craig also kept us apprised of the manufacture's production schedule. The fellow who came to the house to determine the measurements was not only friendly, but also very knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge regarding proper installation methods and wear. With his input we were able to arrange to include two scatter rugs from the same bolt of carpet to be ordered. Finally, the installer, Justin, was friendly, and did a very professional job of removing the old carpeting and installing the new carpeting. We are very happy that we chose Ballston Carpet and Tile to do this project and have no reservations with recommending them to others.

Sometimes we want to ask questions but finding an employee was difficult, and other times we just want to be left alone to look around. This place offered both, along with many selections of different types of flooring. Yes, it is a warehouse inside so some things seemed jumbled around. But, the salesperson (Paul) was extremely helpful in explaining to us some of the options available and differences in product lines. We haven't bought anything yet (and they work on commission) but he seemed happy to just help us out whether we made a purchase or not. Once we know for sure what we want, we likely will be coming back here.

Dawn worked with us developing several designs until the perfect one was attained. She is a good listener and capably responded to our requests by email or in person promptly. She and Terry came to our home to finalize the building project. They are both professional, friendly and eager to make our dream kitchen come true. We hired the Jafri company to clean and repair all of our family owned rugs, needing new fringe on…read moresome & some weaving on others. One of the oldest Iranian rugs, which was used in our foyer, came back, completely unusable with huge ripples in it that would not lay flat. Upon asking Mr. Jafri to take it back and stretch it and make it usable again, it took another six months, and still was not flat. I told him that we would be putting a claim in his insurance for the value of the rug and he claimed that this time he would make it better After another five months, it came back. It was better, but it's still not flat. He claimed he had to send it somewhere overseas to get it stretched . the rug is now a tripping hazard. Jafri offered no refund or compensation even after we spent $25k with him. I do not recommend this company
