Now when I take clients to look at products, I am very low maintenance, I don't need anyone's time or anything of that nature, I just require the manufacturers spec books so I can write down the products that we would like to purchase. Like walking into a restaurant and asking for a menu to order the food you want. After giving up on the prospect of a greeting, I went to the receptionist and asked for spec books to look at so I could just write down what we wanted. The receptionist told me they don't give those out. I assured him that I didn't want to keep them, I just wanted to sit down and look at them to write down what we wanted to buy. He went and got a sales person who parroted the same answer, as I assured them yet again that I didn't want to take their books anywhere. Also they won't help you with anything if you don't have an appointment even if there's nobody else in the building. You see, their texting and internet shopping is too important to give up for customers looking to spend money. So imagine walking into a restaurant that has nobody in it and being refused a menu to order anything and being told that nobody could help you. Remind you of anything? It sure struck a cord with me. Please never shop here. They only want to cater to the big builders in the area with deep pockets. Anyone else gets sent packing. Beware!!

The first time they installed it (2+ months late with no apology) the installer crew was late and the whole thing was crooked. They reluctantly sent out a 2nd installer crew (that was late, again) to fix it and when that installer crew didnt fix it right they sent out a third installer crew (that was late, again) and Ed, their lead installer, to fix it, who was probably one of the rudest people I have ever met, and they fixed the "field joint" but then there was a one inch gap between the countertop and walls on both ends. When I said something to Ed, he said it was because they had chipped away at so much material fixing their mistakes and basicly blamed me for having them come out and fix their mistakes so many times. If they were real profesionals they would have installed it right the first time. The owner of the company, Alan Boulant, told me to deal with it or buy new material. Terrible business ethics, dont buy a countertop from Solid Surface Craftsman.
