Recently we went back for another purchase. Paul was off that day so we ended up working with a sales representative by the name of Corliss and another employee (whose name I wish I could remember). That employee is the one that handles all of their cutting and binding. These two folks we extremely helpful and actually unrolled several types of carpet so we could get a better look at it. The binding fellow actually spent a considerable amount of time with us explaining different types of binding material and showing us different contrasting colors to go with the carpet we ended up selecting. It was actually very close to the end of his shift but he actually said he would stay late to be able to cut and bind our carpet while we waited so we would not have to make a second trip for a pickup. We highly recommend this business for their tremendous selection of carpeting and also for their absolutely outstanding customer service. They clearly want to be sure they have satisfied and, hopefully, return customers. Don't hesitate to give them a try.

My wife and I are looking for new flooring for our kitchen. We have been to some of the large big…read morebox stores and also looked online, but it can be an overwhelming and frustrating experience. Sometimes we want to ask questions but finding an employee was difficult, and other times we just want to be left alone to look around. This place offered both, along with many selections of different types of flooring. Yes, it is a warehouse inside so some things seemed jumbled around. But, the salesperson (Paul) was extremely helpful in explaining to us some of the options available and differences in product lines. We haven't bought anything yet (and they work on commission) but he seemed happy to just help us out whether we made a purchase or not. Once we know for sure what we want, we likely will be coming back here.

He was thorough in his work, explained everything he was doing in detail throughout every step of the process, and kept us informed daily. He truly seems to care about the quality of his work, and even more so about the satisfaction of his customers. Right after moving in, we hired Chris to refinish the original wood floors throughout our entire second floor that had been hidden for years under both laminate and some very stained carpet. Chris seamlessly patched about 30% of the total floor area with new hardwood and refinished the salvageable areas. If it hadn't been for the fact that he walked us through each stain individually, you wouldn't be able to tell where the new wood begins and old wood ends. We couldn't be happier with the way things turned out. If Chris did more than flooring, we would hire him for it all!

Chris from Capital Region Hardwood Flooring carved out time in his busy schedule to come help us with one room on short notice, which was a huge relief. As promised, he returned a few weeks later to complete the remaining three rooms. Throughout the entire project, Chris was professional, reliable, and easy to work with. He arrived on time, communicated clearly, did excellent quality work, and stuck to his quote with no surprises. It's hard to find contractors who do exactly what they say they're going to do, but Chris delivered every step of the way. He's a great guy, highly professional, and takes pride in his work. If you're looking for flooring installation, Chris is who you're looking for. Highly recommend!

I left him a VM to ask him to let me know if he's still coming. He did not reply. I then texted him to say that I'm going to give a one-star review given Hansen's lack of any response of any kind. It's too bad because I VERY LIKELY would have had them do the work. I'd give them zero stars to reflect zero service if I could.

Interesting...because it never sagged before this paint job. I bought top of the line Benjamin Moore paints. On a 6 panel door, only five panels were painted. I did most of the spackle and patch work myself to walls before they came, but I did expect them to check each wall before painting. They did not. the owner of the company is a very personable guy, but was nowhere in sight while his workers were here. Most supervisors will stop by a job to check and see if there are any concerns...especially when no one speaks English. The workers were very sweet, but we had communication difficulties. Expect to spend a lot of money too, as they are quite expensive...especially when you have to hire fixer-uppers afterwards.

Not really all that impressed. Larry sold me ocean front property in Arizona in the beginning, and…read moreI bought it for the smooth price of 50k. So, they surely have a hell of a salesmen as the end product was not at all what I expected nor was told. To preface, I bought a 175-year-old house with a stone foundation that was bowing. Larry told me I'd get two new foundation walls; it would take two weeks & I would get updates daily. I got one update from Mike 1.0, he seemed nice. Work stalled a lot in the beginning. Seems like they only worked every other day when I was told by the salesmen "once we start a job were there until it ends, we don't bounce guys around" whatever, things happen. Two weeks in when the job was supposed to be complete, I go to check on the progress, and my basement is completely flooded with 4-5 inches of standing water. Somebody had shut the sump drainage hose in the basement door pinching in likely while racing out on Friday. I text Mike 1.0 who informs me he hasn't even worked for the company in over a week. Lovely update! Mike 2.0 the new foremen was nice. Sucked he had to apologize profusely for the way the company's leadership is. I had requested several times for Todd to call me or meet with me to go over the issues. Still haven't heard from him. Four weeks later now the job is "done" & not at all what I was expecting. Poured walls halfway, House isn't even sitting on new "foundation" I was told I was getting. Was charged almost 2 grand for "basement clean out and debris removal" when the debris was tossed into my cistern and the basement is in the same state as it was before. Not sure what they cleaned out or removed (besides the already functional & existing sump pump and corresponding extension cords) Charged almost 5 grand for a sump pump that's duck taped together and leaking at the discharge directly back into the foundation. All in all, would not recommend. Office lady is kind whenever she answers. Company has a serious communication issue. Your foremen's need a raise for having to answer for the company's shortcomings, because the owner surely does not.
